He is done teaching and would like to humiliate me on the track in front of my friends. Y know good clean father son stuff. Showing respect and all that.

Here are my 2 races from Monday night. I would like to know if it would be alright if I sent the lobby a request to join my twitch fd for audio. I agree with Mcinnis that the commentary is way better then my racing. Which is better to stream on Twitch or Youtube? New at streaming.

Not a problem at all Spiff, the more feeds the better, Twitch seems to work really well.

Yeah, we see the same thing with the PC version. Not everybody has the same "glitches".

Naw, the build is never complete. :) I'm saving for 5 DOF motion and 4 corner transducers. Will require a major rebuild. The goal is to still use some of my wooden components as I really don't care for the look of 80/20 rigs. Too industrial looking for my taste.

But Yeah, trying to focus in iRacing more when I can.

You do know that censorship is not permitted in the Lobanaro Lounge eh? Putting me on anything live is risky as I have a tendency to use four letter words.....a lot.

I like both platforms. YouTube is great because it will automatically save the video and notify subs. On Twitch you have to make sure to save the video, after more than like 60 days it goes away if you don't save it. But you can export directly to your YouTube if you'd like. The social features are better on twitch though if you start getting multiple viewers.

Just a preference really. There are ways to stream to both at the same time, I'm going to look into that myself.

Was trying to watch Mike's stream last Monday with my son. Had to turn volume way down - just in case. My son on Mike's driving: "Oh my God, he's blown Mulsanne corner on EVERY LAP. Qualifying and the race!" :lol::lol::lol: I told him your wheel must be giving you technical difficulties. :sly:

That's why I run without commentary. It's more fun, but some of our stuff gets pretty far out there for gentle ears.

If Mike ,or any of us, heard your son saying that it would be ' well let me see you do better!!!!'. :lol: Of course, he probably can....

I was doing some reading on this issue (believe me, I've got the time lately).

A couple guys reported that their issue went away when they stopped using Crew Chief.

One reported that his issue went away by shimming the paddle shifter where it actuates the micro-switch - so that there's no travel past the point of tripping the switch.

Some guys noticed that it only happens on cars that originally used an H-shifter, but they're using paddles to shift. This one intrigues me because I never encountered the issue when I was racing. But I always used the option that came with the car. Clutch and H-shifter for older race cars, paddles and no clutch for new race cars, etc. Maybe you can start paying attention to which cars cause the problem. I know I'd just be looking for an excuse to buy that awesome Fanatec H-shifter! :sly::lol: But that might mean a new pedal assembly with a clutch too :scared: - a serious investment altogether.

Hope you can figure it out. Let me know if you need somebody to do some reading/research. I've got the spare time :rolleyes:.

Simple!... it's through the email, what could go wrong with tech wizard bear giving instructions. Anyhow it will be next Monday when he can race.
