Nice rig. I can tell your a young lad, could you imagine any of us B.OB.'s trying to get in out of that rig.:lol::lol::lol:

the shift box is great. Your rig reminds me of this one.

But the only real problem that I can see, or cannot see is a , cup holder.
I wouldn't fit...no way in hell.

One is just much faster than the other one! Happy birthday fast Shaun!

As you know, my mom was English. She chose my spelling as being the 'correct' English way, and AFAIK it is. I'm pretty sure Sean is Irish.

Bear said he wouldn't mind seeing some more pictures of flying here, so:

Here I am my first week with the company. This is one of two C-90As we have - mostly the same as the B versions save for the three bladed prop and some weight limitations.

@Alex: Here’s the latest sim rig I built for an older game I had lying around. It’s pretty realistic but the levels and quests get repetitive and fighting the Final Boss is a real pain in the...

I hope you guys enjoyed last nights racing, sounded like there were some good battle's going on.
Myself, well I'm sure by my absence in race 3 that it was obvious I wasn't having much fun. I went back to the pits and then got up from my rig and took a walk. Came back at lap 10 but hit the wrong button and left the room, but was able to get back in and spectate, you just couldn't hear me. Ok, so here comes the rant, (and some whining).

The rant:
We are a casual night, but I am still seeing things that are not right that we need to improve on. I don't know how many times I need to say this, but why do some still feel the need to try and win the race in the first couple of corners! Our races are 30 minutes long, plenty of time to work your way into a good finishing position, rather than destroying your race or others from unnecessary moves at the start. Those that are being cautious and trying to be clean are suddenly at the mercy of someone trying to barge their way through. There is nothing wrong with a good clean move if the opportunity presents itself, but week in and week out there are guys getting taken out. Last week was the first time ever that we had good clean starts, but that was just one week!
Another thing I'm starting to notice is towards the back of the grid on the rolling starts. We are all supposed to be in a close single file when the head of the field calls the race start. I have noticed recently that some are out of line and some that have dropped back, enabling them to get a jump on the rest of the field, this cannot continue. One way to stop this is to can the rolling starts and go to 10 minute qualy's before race 2 & 3. I will be discussing this with Mike this week.
End of rant.

The whine:
On a personal note, I have not really been enjoying my nights lately as I should be. I have been taken out of a good position every single week now for the last seven weeks by someone attempting a bonehead move, or out braking themselves and hitting me from behind. I thought maybe not being in a yellow car might help this week, but not. At the same time, I am definitely at fault for taking myself out, or messing up and directly affecting someones race behind me. If I realize that has happened I will drop back and at least get that driver back out in front of me, it's not always the easiest thing to figure out during the race but if your really not sure then just wait. Every single one of us makes mistakes, and there are just plain old racing incidents, but we are all good and experienced racers here and the items noted above really shouldn't be an issue.
End of whine.

But if there are no crashes, I won't get to be mr baaawsome. The only time I earned the title by being the fastest was in historic cars. The new fangled cars I'm not that fast, just consistent.
Tiiirrres cole, tiiires win a race.
He's right harry, he's not going faster, we just haven't fallen off as much as the others.

Great pic Gutter.
sorry, missed the first race.
Congrats on the Baaawesome win Bear, it was close. I should have won, except that 10 second pit speeding penalty cost me two positions in the last race.
A shout out to Nick (dret), after watching my replay, I made contact on you in the third race, spinning you. The contact was so light, that in the race, it didn't feel like I touched you at all, but the replay doesn't lie, I took you out. My apologies.
Alex, I wasn't kidding when I said I didn't know you were there........my traffic indicators did not work for your car, you can see that in the replay as well.
Who won A? Oh yeah.....who cares.
GR8lakes back next week

I feel for my Homey Aero, taken out so many times by aggressive driving. Some of you forget, this is a fun night of good clean driving, or it's supposed to be. The laughs are more important than the racing, but we still have to race clean and respect the rules.

I do agree.
We have a great group of guys here, and I can't think of one A or B driver that I don't trust and respect for clean racing, yet we still run into issues that are a little more than 'racing incidents'. I think just about all of us are familiar with the SNAIL OLR and racing etiquette, but sometimes it seems to fall by the wayside.
SNAIL fixes this with IRs. I absolutely don't think we want or need to do that at all, but I think we should all drive like damage or IRs are in place.
I'm probably one of the least experienced here, but my experience with SNAIlL and here is that being more patient and staying out of kerfluffles results in better results and usually more fun racing.

Congrats to Robbie and Bear. Here’s a pic of Bear on the final lap on his way to becoming this week’s Group B “Mr. Baawesome”:

Nice pic gutter!!... oh and I won't be able to make sundays race, or Friday night fun either.
My daughter is off to California for 6 months to the recording studio, so we are driving to Edmonton to visit with her before she goes. Hopefully be back in time for Monday night mayhem.
Just remembered, you are moving... never mind, happy moving day wishes to you.

No, I get paid to know regs do paperwork, I do this for free!
I always say anyone can fly an airplane....if you can race cars you have the dexterity to be a pilot. Flying is not hard, even Aero can do it. For me it would be worth all the paperwork and medical and regs. I was always trained to be ready for an emergency at anytime throughout the flight and I practiced those scenarios over and over so I would know what to expect when, (and it did). My engine took a crap on me a few times and training took over. No fear, other than that awful squirt of adrenaline right in the moment and then training took over....fly the plane, (glider at this point), to the best flat surface available in your glide, haven't bent an airplane yet....touch wood.
