That's because it's not a link....it's red noses suggestion. He just wanted it to look official.
Link is broken above, oh well......check it out..this guys a genius.
You older BOB's are just plain confusing sometimes!

Ok, fair enough Group A gets the MkIV, Group B gets the Mustang RTR.
But I want the MkIV, :D

Ok, here are the combo's submitted so far:

@GTLehman
Track - Oulton Park
Group A - SMS Formula R
Group B - 1967 Lotus 51

@yogi bear
Track - SPA
Group A - Porsche 917 CanAm
Group B - Porsche 908

@Gr8_Lakes
Track - Road America
Group A - 1967 Ford MkIV
Group B - 1966 Ford Mustang RTR TransAm

@Rednose58
Track - SPA
Group A - 1989 Audi 90 quattro IMSA-GTO
Group B - Porsche 911 RSR

@SGETI
Track - Algarve
Group A - KTM Xbow GT4
Group B - Caterham SP/300.R

That leaves just @sgohsixthree, but you have until noon tomorrow, so no pressure. Plus it leaves less time for @dret7277 to practice :D
Unfortunately @GUTTERBOY3007 is in the process of moving and is not available, see you back here soon!

You say us older bobs are confusing..... you kept referring to some green line in the tachometer in the hood to David, supposed to tell if his gas pedal was working fine. There is no tachometer mounted in the hood on that car, in fact none of the cars have a tach in the hood. I can only recall the 68 firebird has a tachometer in the hood.

Guys... I think one Monday we should just relax and catch some Z's. But don't sleep on theeZ... You might get nightmares.;)

Zhuhai
Grp A - Nissan 300 ZX Turbo LM
Grp B - Nissan 240 ZG GTS
Wow!!! The 300Z at Zhuhai was almost my pick! I just didn't come up with a compliment car, and moved on to the Mustang. I almost chose Watkins, but the Mark IV couldn't really stretch it's legs there.

:gtpflag: Announcement :gtpflag:

Thanks so much for taking the time to come up with your combo's guy's, they are all really good and we will likely use them all sometime in the future, makes our job easier!

Here again is the list, and we would have had a very tough time deciding which one to choose. So, I had my wife pick the winner, scroll down to see!

The main reason I wanted I wanted to pick the 300Z - I'm a big Paul Newman fan (as @yogi bear knows). This week, Paul Newman has been given a new honor. He's been inducted into the Sebring Hall of Fame. Much cooler than all the Hollywood awards if you ask me!

And I love this car. If any of you haven't heard, Adam Corolla started buying Paul Newman's old race cars when he heard how much Steve McQueen's cars were selling for at auction. Genius!!! The coolest part: Adam Corolla actually raced (drove) the 300Z after he restored it.

Suh-weet!
I'd like to think the academy, all the little people and my cat for making this moment possible. This is, like, a compliment I'll remember as long as I can.
At least until MONDAY!
Lol. My wife wants to know why she didn't get thanked for picking your name!

Love the commentary! The off centre wheel would drive me crazy :confused:

FINALLY!!!!
One of the first things I thought of was how happy you would be!

And please post them quick. tick tock tick tock.....

.....And one more thing. Clear weather will do just fine. Cars with no windshield and wipers not make for rain. They does call them open wheel for a reason.

*hits and runs*

Well, it IS England, so cold, overcast, spring conditions is a good place to start. However, guv'(bwahahaaa), keep in mind that it often rains in England. Randomly. (bwahahahahahahahaaaaaa). And recently they've had a lot of snow (ahhhh-ha-ha-haaaaaa). But the sun always seems to peek out when you least expect it! (Bwahahaah He's maaaad!) And of course I'll be throwing coconut shavings and seashells from my car, sooo.. (MAAAAD I SAY!!!)

So yeah, plan on a spring day in the UK mate. It's a one day festival so the first race will be after breakfast and the final race should be done by tea time. Sans coconuts...

You can run David, but you can't hide...
