I really enjoyed tonight, the bugs sucked, but the cars and cameraderie made up for it!

Huge apology for the second race Robbie. I watched the replay - I pulled over on you, very sorry about that. I knew that Mike and I had a faster car in the vicinity, but I was just focused on staying ahead of the big BoB through that section and didn't realize you were beside me. I'm very glad it didn't lose you the lead. So, honestly, from the bottom of my heart, and with all sincerity: It's Lobban's Fault!
Besides my cock(in mouth)-up, we had gentleman's racing all night. Well done, and Well done to the BoBs for putting together a really cool combo. I second Robbie's suggestion for FFs... but... we have no Sears' point, so how about Bannonbrachache....

I believe Sears Point is the old name for Sonoma. I have to agree about the gentleman's racing tonight. I just love the mixed class racing with good communication, and people being considerate of each other. It's fun watching battles while staying out of the way. And it's cool trying to figure out the timing for where the faster cars should be overtaking you. It's one part of Project Cars 2 that I was really looking forward to, and it's as much fun as I anticipated.

Really hoping the long awaited patch fixes the multiple bugs, glitches, whatever you want to call it because it's making what should be an enjoyable event very frustrating. From what I gathered they mainly occur in online lobby racing...at least with the issues of game stuttering, freezes and disconnects....maybe server issues combined with the amount of racers on at the same time. Curiously during private practice such issues don't occur but online lobby with a good number of racers it's like Russian roulette. Definitely not a nice thing during race going about your merry way and all of a sudden....(((Spoof)))... to be disconnected in an instant. And as for setups well you may as well throw a dice and hope for the best. As said, they can't come with the long awaited patch soon enough. Keeping fingers crossed it addresses frustrating issues.

Too many glitches tonight, felt bad for those of you that got crapped on by the game! Getting DC’d right at the start really blows CB, I hate that! As David says above, the patch can’t come quick enough and I hope there are some fix’s.
The night ran later but thanks to all for sticking it out.
It really BLOWS!! Same thing happened to me Sunday night with PITS.

It's so weird, but I've been having the same problem recently. The game hasn't had any updates, but all of a sudden, tunes and pit strategies occasionally aren't saving anymore.:confused::confused:
I have a trick that has been working to save my setups. Do not use "Save Over", click on "Save as New" but instead of creating a new setup just save over the existing.

Despite the glitches a lot of you had to deal with, the night was another success and a lot of fun. I too am really enjoying the mixed classes, and just like last week, kudos to all of you for your great race craft and communication during the races. I was a bit concerned going into the night about the huge speed difference, but the skill of all here made it a non issue and a joy to watch!

Congrats to @The__Camel, this weeks "Mr. Aawesome" for the Grp A win  (ok boy's, that's five in a row, we need a plan!!)

Congrats to @Gr8_Lakes, this weeks "Mr. Baawesome" for the Grp B win  (Yay Jeff, your first overall win, good stuff!)

Also, I realized that I never publicly acknowledged my partner in crime's (@Mike Lobban )very first overall win last week, so a belated  my friend!

I know there were some good spectacular crashes last night but watching @Vaper58 lose it in front of me and Mike was pretty crazy. It's a bit hard to tell in the pic but the first one you can just see in the top left that he has gone flying up the grass hill, next pic he has finally landed back on the track and then gets launched big time in the air, it was awesome to watch!

Then there was @Gr8_Lakes leading with Mike and I right behind, but his lack of aero didn't work out so well for him here as he loses it, then collects me and Mike. First pic is Jeff in front, Mike right behind and myself on the right. Mike faired the worst here!

That works with set ups.... but not pit strategies.

Thanks to the considerate driver that took time to flip me back over on my wheels.. it was no fun being a turtle on my back in the grass. Hats off to you good sir. Please identify yourself as I will try to return a favor in the future.

Yup, that's one of the things really cool with this group. There are a couple guys well always willing to help. I overheard at least one or two during the time or such times offering assistance even at the sacrifice of their own race positions or ratings. Aero is one such. I suspect he's your rescuer.

You suck'in up to the boss David,, thanks for the kind words but that wasn't me. I would never go close to a stuck bear, you're just asking for big trouble! I did offer to fall back and push Lobban into the pits if he ran out of gas though, but he just made it.
I guess we should map that button (forget what it's called), but only ever use it for when you are stuck upside down!

Yeah. I remember that one. Poor Lobbie.

I'm kinda thinking it was gutter. He does stuff like that and never claims credit. Caped crusader.

That cassette brought back earlier memories of 8 tracks. When “Wish You Were Here” first came out, I bought the 8 track version because I had just put a Quadraphonic 8 track stereo system in my ‘69 Chevelle. “Shine on You Crazy Diamond” always paused right in the middle as the 8 track did its change thing, so it was weird the first time I heard it on an album. It was the first 8 track cassette I bought, second was Frank Zappa’s “Apostrophe”. I thought I was just the coolest dude in that car with that stereo, lol.

Alice cooper. Killer.....golden earring. Moon tan... also had quadrophonic with bass 48 speakers in my 69 camaro.
Those 2 8 tracks were so worn I had to stick match packs in one corner to keep the tape from chattering.
