Guess some folks like it a little more rough than others...
Maybe we need to start calling this place the 'LUBEanero' lounge....
Sooo.. yeah, sorry my friend the Formula Rookies are ours. You need to drive one of those other fomula faster thingies with Camel. Unless you straighten up, and learn to miss apexes and overdrive the car. Let me know if you want help with either...

Actually I'd love to get some people together for a F.A.R.T. racing league night here soon. I go to day shift tomorrow for a week though, so can't plan anything at a decent hour.

I love smoking wtf ,if I am gonna die I am gonna die doing somthing I enjoy ,

I don't drink or do drug,

Well no more anyways lol, ive done enough things to kill me 100 times over (racing and bike accidents) had cancer when I was 20 yrs old which effectively put a finish to my boxing , I didn't start smoking till I was 20yrs old ,and lived a good life and have two grown up sons more mature than me ,so if smoking kills me then it's my way ,

Give you an example of stupid people ,I got home very late around 10pm uk time from work,so had to have a bath and take me dog Dixie for his walk, well this is where the stupid people comes in,

As I am minding my own business and so was my dog and he's always on a lead ,this other dog comes running out of some ones open door from there house and starts to attack my dog and me so my dog goes on the offensive and then he attacks other dog ,along comes the stupid people and just stands there looking, please note my dog is still on his lead,I then after 2 minutes have no choice but to threaten said stupid people and says if you don't grab hold of your dog I will boot it to the moon and with my other foot put that so far up your backside my shoe laces will be coming out of your mouth, the attack lasted around five minutes from stupid people's dog,
All I was doing was talking dog for his usual walk

My dog has serval cuts for defending himself and me ,these stupid people called the police ,luckily a niegbbour had this all on cctv, and these stupid people who are new to area just let there dog out for it to run around on the streets. , and said dog has been running around attacking other dogs, this all happened around an hour before league started,

So if I appeared a little bit quick to judge other drivers actions tonight perhaps you will understand that I didn't want to let you guys down ,

I throughly enjoyed 2nites racing , you are all a great bunch of guys but if I have to pull out don't judge me please as for me time racing end its getting on for 5am .

Thanks for putting up with me
Mark
Can't argue with that Mark, live everyday as your last, because one day, you'll be right! And as far as stupid people go - plenty of them out there. Just watch 'Judge Judy', they're all over the place. I don't know about being quick to judge, but you are great to race with, and this league is great for blowing off steam. No wonder it's the most popular one out there. We have clean racing based on the honor system (no IR BS), the best racing sim IMO, great comeraderie and, of course, asian girls! Reckon it doesn't get better than this...

So I couldn’t find a specific bug report related to not adding fuel. I would stop at the sign, the car would lift up and the crew would appear to be working. Even the fuel guy had the hose out but no fuel would go in.

If this continues next week then we have serious problem.

The game in general has it's oddities that we've learned to live with. I've mapped the 'pit stop request' and that seems to have helped a bit as well as checking and double checking as others have mentioned.

Camel, David, Great, we missed you guys, hope all is going well...

I aggree we missed camel and david ,vapour ,

Monday's nights racing was as good as it can get, plenty of small battles though out group A and B ,

I am hopeful we will see camel next Monday night , sorry about your pit not working ice man, perhaps me or someone else can show you thru share play or one on one ,I am sure it's something simple because everybody's else's pit worked so it has to be something we or you have missed,

The road A last night Mike I just couldn't get them to work ,I stuck with it but the cars were like driving on ice ,and thanks for the invite last night ,

I'm certainly missing you guys as well. Don't know how much Mike and Aero have passed on, but I'm dealing with some "stuff" right now. Not anything horrible, the family is all healthy and well, I just have some personal business to attend to that's going to take up a great deal of my time. This may last a couple months, but then I'll be back in the saddle again. Who knows, I may get lucky and get to pop in on some weekend night. Mondays though, those are going to be darn near impossible for quite a while. So keep it going strong my fellow racers, and I'll be back as soon as possible. In the mean time, I'll continue keeping an eye on things from afar. And Mike, I watched that unavoidable contact. You smoked Aero through turn one, made good ground on Gutter, and then the contact. And Aero gets to drive by you with the "you're number one" sign out the window.

And I love racing Formula Rookies. So just wait until I get back Robbie. :sly:

First race my pit crew would not work on the car. This is a first for me.

Oh man CB. Just play this in the background while watching your pit stop(s). I feel your pain man, I have had my fair share of pit stop bugs in PCars. At one point it looked like you may have had Bears pit crew in disguise. I hear the "mannequin challenge" has finally taken Japan by storm.

My car actually stopped, they lifted it up, the little progress bars for tires, fuel, damage filled but nothing got done. They dropped the car down and I still had no gas. The first race I pulled in with no reserve fuel so I eventually ran out. But the 2nd and 3rd races I had enough to pull away from the pits, mess with the strategy and pull back around for another try. I tried three times in race 2 to no avail. The third try in Race 3 I told it to change tires as well and it finally worked.

So...I'll try again next week. I feel that running stock "loose" setup on the Porsche was a disadvantage as well. I'm thinking running no tune is going to keep me at the back of the pack in Group A. I don't think the top guys are running a stock car ;)

Jus curious and I've asked before in rooms but never got an answer.......why do any of you have the pit limiter as a button? Why not just leave it engaged at all times? I think someone said it's more realistic or something. First we aren't running damage or mechanical failures so realistic should go out the window. Second....there are forms of Motorsports who have limiters for that exact reason.

That's right, because you will be needing that for next weeks race night at Bannochbrae!
We are taking two different Audi's there, where it will be white and wet! Two races will have the season set to "Snow", the other race will be "moist".
(no voting, you're driving what we're giv'in ya, and Bear, if you don't like it, you can race the '69 Camaro :D)

The reason is for the making fun of someone who screws up......we have all done it and it's hilarious. I have the space bar on my keyboard mapped and I still screw it up. There's something weird about those pit stops though.
As for "realism". It is what it is. It won't be real for me until I can use my peripheral vision to its fullest and be able to look around with my eyes. I have fantastic peripheral vision, almost 200 degrees and I find the current 80 or so degrees of FOV is so restricting and unrealistic, especially in a tight racing situation where side vision is so important for SA. It was the same with VR, the FOV is the same 80 degrees and you still need to turn your whole head to see out the side.

Who's gonna get this beauty when it comes out. I have it on PC. The damage model is the best.

Aye that game looks radical man. First time seeing or hearing of it. Wouldn't mind getting it for ***** and giggles.
Is it compatible with racing wheels such as the G29?

That's hilarious!!

I can't complain too much. Normally my pit stops go on without a hitch.

Stock loose for me. Only brake pressure adjustment.

I think I have mine on. I don't have to press a button to engage the limiter, just slow down before the cones. Is yours different?

This looks like the wed. Night spec racing....what a gong show.!!! Mike next wed. Send me an invite.
I'm done with pits. There hasn't been a race yet that's been clean. Every single time, I'm spun, and seldom does the position be given back. I'm not gonna read the 3 page brochure , time stamp and all that crap to file an IR.
I realized I'm not having fun in the least. So what ever you got cookin next wed. Please include me.

I know for a fact that Camel runs a stock setup, and most nights (read all) he is faster than me. I tinker with settings sometimes, but most often it’s steering ratio, brake pressure, and tire pressures. After that, it’s all my lack of skill ;) The trick with that Porsche was triangulating the corners, and getting on the boost as soon as you could out of the corners to help rotate the rest of the way out.

The Audi will be much of the same in the snow, good fun!

I can't wait ,another perfect choice ,great car and great track ,it's going to be interesting lol

Sorry bear we watched the replays and looked like you were ****ed quite a few times 2nite,

But stay with it as you were the bosom a week ago ,

Plus I enjoy your company and you are a very clean racer,,

Do you wanna practice tomorrow night for Monday's race ,bring your Rayburns as snow blindness may hinder your chances of winning again

Lobban what is is you do on Wednesdays? It is some serious racing with license on? I to am a small bit aggrevated with the Wednesday league. Just a few too many who don't understand awareness and racing lines. Hell I may trow something together for Wednesdays myself. I have experience in running leagues. If I'm racing or doing anything for that matter I have to give my all or it sets me back. I've always been blessed to be good at everything I've done and through being all state in baseball and playing college ball and now coaching a USSSA travel team which qualified for the USSSA World Series last year....anytime I feel like I'm not giving 100% I'm just setting myself back or the team back. I try to relate that to the boys. I'm so super competitive. I have ways I do relax in life but at 36 years old there isn't much left that I can do to get that competition. Sim racing has given me that ability to compete again and I'm thankful for that. So would I be stepping on toes to set something up for Wednesdays?

Also.....I tried giving racing a shot tonight and it went ok. I can bend the arm but no twisting of any kind. I've been banned from throwing or pitching for 3 months but he said as far as racing he said if I could do it then do it. I found tonight if I set the steering on my wheel to level 1 and turn the feedback down I can race. I only have to turn the wheel 2 inches to the left or right to get the car to turn but I'll just have to adjust to that for awhile. I haven't raced in 5 days and tonight was so much fun just to be back little there. So does anyone think it would be a bad idea to setup a Wednesday league? I've got some great ideas as far as team racing (of course solo points would be awarded as well) throwing in some multi class with pit strategies in such. So lete know if you guys would be up for it and I'll go all in on it

Instead of a Wednesday night could you set up a Friday night Camel? I'm looking for a Friday night thing but difficult to find.

get on it camel ,

I think that would be a very good idea, it might even cheer yogi up,

But one bad night doesn't mean a league is rubbish, what makes a league rubbish is if they bring in unvetted drivers

We don't run anything serious on Wednesdays. Usually it's just boredom fighting or testing. I feel bad for Zii, I know he worked really hard to set up his Wednesday league, but you see what happens when you allow guys you don't know into the rooms. IRs be damned, if a guy in our room is being a dik, he's gone, easy peasy.
Now.....on Fridays, we usually run Tomfoolery rooms where mayhem is the norm and no one is safe from from the carnage. No rules, no penaltie, no ratings, just pure fun. Drugs and alcohol are incouraged. It's a perfect way to end the week..
