I think I pushed my pit entry speed to the limit.... first play it at full speed and then reverse/move back and forth as indicated in the note below.
(Note: Pause the video and press the . to advance frame by frame and press the , to reverse frame by frame. Press > to advance 5 seconds and press < to reverse 5 seconds)

:gtpflag: Cars and Track for Monday July 2nd :gtpflag:

HAIRBALL SHORES

GTLehman has been after us to run another night at the coasts and how can we not agree with that. He suggested the Hairball Rally (after the Gumball) and with vintage cars. We changed the name slightly, but are definitely sticking with the vintage stuff.

There will be no separate groups this week, we will all be in the same car. There will be three cars and we will race each one at both coasts. If there is time for a seventh race then we will vote on a favorite car of the night and run one of the tracks in reverse, last time we did this in PCars1 we did 7 races. Speaking of last time, we need to knock Mr. Red "KING of the Coasts" Nose of his top step :D

Tracks:
Azure Coast Full
California Coast Full

The cars for the night are: (yes, those are my liveries)

Ford Escort RS1600 (Racing)

Sweet! Nice choice of cars!

Sweet! Nice choice of cars!
The Ferrari 365 GTB4 was number three until we tested the final car which was the BMW, was just better suited to the coasts! The three cars picked are all a blast, each quite different so will make it interesting.

Mr. Awwwesome!! will have minimal track time before the races. Leaving on Thursday for some weekend escapades and hope to be back on Monday night.
Sure hope you make it Red, you gotta defend your crown!

Most of you were around for this 🤬 storm of a start when we did the Coasts in PCars1
Trust our resident detective to still have video of that night, it was June 19 last year!

Lord amighty. I think I remember that.
Yup, I might not have video, but here are the results from that night. Thought you'd like to see it again David, not being in your usual position.....ouch....I'm running....lol

Yeah, the 911 is a better fit for sure.

I knew I missed the last one, glad we are doing it again!!!

Sonoma!! Up the hill after turn 2 or 3?
Turn two yes! Just rode the shuttle routes on my bike all around the racetrack... crazy how much elevation change there really is! The esses in the back are all downhill at a pretty steep angle, if anyone has the opportunity to visit this place I 100% recommend it!

Beautiful country side, and top tier facilities all around the track!

I go to the Indy races and camp there every year. Fantastic place. Haven't been around the track yet though.

Careful about camping there in Sonoma. One night I was in the portapotty and a local girl named Darla tried giving me a blumpkin. She had a couple of her crotch fruit guarding the door so I couldn’t get out. Little hellions. Ahhh, the good old days.

Hopefully I’ll see you guys Monday night!

In no particular order... Pcars did a pretty good job but there’s nothing like the real thing!

@Robbie, did they recently repave the track? If so, how does that affect your tire wear and grip? That’s always a fun track in the video games, and it’s awesome that you actually get to race on it. It’s still hard not to call it Sears Point (I never got used to calling it Infineon either). Just be careful about hitting the wineries, because last time my wife and I were there I think there were 400+ in the area. And I’m glad to see that the wildfires last Fall didn’t destroy the area. It’s really nice up there. Please post more pics and some in-car video if you can. Kick some ass in the race!
