Hey Aero, guess what....??????
View attachment 757687
He's able to move himself from bed to a wheelchair and back all by himself, pretty soon he'll be able to poop all by himself too. Way to go buddy.
Almost, still need two people around when I do it but no more slinging me from bed to chair. I graduated to pooping all by myself from start to finish but it’s still in a bed pan :banghead: Unless it’s a beauty like you saw at the Civic that day Mike, then I’ll say I still need help!

WOOT WOOT!!!!......And equally important, is he able to choke the chicken?
....Boys just wanna have fun.
Of course, and there’s the added excitement of a nurse walking in at any time!

I'm in for this. Great choice of cars and track. Both Glenn tracks?
I updated the first few posts on page 1 including the drivers lists and active and reserve drivers. I thought I had read you were going to be away for a month or so Spiff so I moved you to reserve. Let me know. I see there are a few new names joined since I’ve been layed up,@jmutt_76 , @Esspugo1, rvgacer and @potvinsuks . If you guys can confirm your intent for the future then I can add you to the appropriate lists, thanks.

Denise comes to the hospital this morning with coffee and hands me this large box. It is from Shaun (smicinnis) and Mark (MPhile). Inside the box is two smaller ones, one had a Laguna Seca cap and the other an interesting looking tiny crate. The box the crate was in was cool as well, I’ll add a pic later but it was made to look like one of those old super thick cardboard box’s that had been sitting around an auto shop for 20 years!
It’s a wooden crate and the lid is glued down good. It comes with a tiny metal prybar, but we couldn’t get it in to get started. Heard a maintenance guy so Denise took it out and they got the bar tapped in. The video shows the rest. This was an awesome way to start my day, many thanks guys!

Sweet! So glad it got to you so quick! Hope you Canadians are not to averse to the spicy stuff, I figure the bacon makes up for it. My offer still stands if you want to try and get in on the chat.

I’ve dl’d Discord and registered. Will need to get a USB to 3mm adapter for phone and then I’ll be able to use my headset.
And I love the spicy stuff!

Congrats to both wieners....I Mean Winners last night. It turned into a pretty fun night, I'm still dizzy.
Race 1 was kind of meh for me, nothing spectacular.
Race 2 showed a couple of examples of good racecraft where one car affected another guys race, then waited till they could give the spot back. Me and Hobbs had some good clean side by side action through the chicanes. Colts wins the Lobanaro prize though for giving me a push to the finish line when I ran out of gas, duh, in the last corner, duh. I might have been able to coast to the line but Colts made sure. Thanks Wank.
Race 3 I got a third which I'm happy with, Big Time Dive made a great cumback to take second away. Boy those last laps were fun.

Thanks again guys....another full room, I hope there's room for Aero when he's ready, he might have to go on the reserve list.

Big-time-Dive, lol .... I resemble that remark.

Hey Mike, thanks again for the invites, been great to get back into racing. I'm not really sure when I join if I'm supposed to hop into a group A or B car, or what the criteria for either class is? Seniority? License score? Also I plan to stick with your lobby so long as there is room, but I'm not on any of the lists! I wanna be on a list!:D:D:D

Active/Reserve drivers.

We now have the Reserve list, which you will be on if we don't consider you full time. If you are on this list and want to race on any given week, please let us know before 7pm race day, or you will not get an invite.
Any active driver has preference up until 8:30 pm. A reserve driver who has requested to drive that week will get invite at the regular time and can start like everybody else. But if the room fills up before 8:30 and an active driver is trying to get in, then the reserve driver will have to leave. If there is more than one reserve driver, then whoever requested last to race that week will be the first one asked to leave.

Active drivers.

Hey guys, thanks to you, our Lounge is a big success, full rooms most weeks, awesome.
The problem is there are more Guys wanting to race than we can accommodate in one room. We tried to go to two rooms once and it sucked....changed the whole dynamics of the Lounge, so we will stay with the one room. This means we need a commitment from the full time guys to let us know when they can't make it so we can let the reserve drivers on the list know if they are needed as soon as possible. Also the reserve list will change as more guys will be added and a couple removed,(Steve and GR8) are on medical absences but will be added to the full time list as soon as they are able, sooner rather than later we hope. We'll deal with that when the time comes, but one or two full timers are going to be moved to the reserve list into the one and two spots needed for the gimps. For now though, the reserve list will be in order of seniority as to allow semi-regular guys like Spiff and Hobbs first reserve refusal. There have been a couple of new guys join us the last couple of weeks who seemed to fit right in, unfortunately they will be a little further down the reserve seniority list, but for right now, Stiff and Nobbs are #1 and #2.
Newbies, if you want on the reserve list, post here to let me know. First cum first served for a seniority number.

Reserve Seniority List

#1-Spiffy
#2-Calvin and Hobbs
#3-potvinsucks

I'll post on the days when I am on call, since I may need to leave right before or during the racing so a reserve guy can jump in.

"Success requires serious commitment". With that, I'll give up my regular seat. I generally can't commit or even find time to practice. So on Mondays I just get in the way any how [LOL].

Keep going strong. Fight the good fight! Have a laugh or two on me.

Later,
X

P.S
There once was a man from Nantucket,
Whose Johnson was so long he could suck it.
He said with a grin
As he wiped off his chin,
"If my ear were a "BLANK" I would BLANK it!

Fill in the BLANKs LOL

I dunno X, I consider you a regular in our series, you’ve been here since the start and practice or not, you are a good enough racer in my books. I know you can’t always make the first race because of the time zone, but that doesn’t matter to us as you always stick it out once your here. I can’t stop you from your decision but you don’t need to do it!

How's about his for early? Bite me David.

Group Eh will drive this beauty...Porsche 935/80...... A real ass biter of a car, tune wisely

The ever exciting Group B will drive the Bimmer M-1 Procar, one of the best cars IMO in the game

Watkins Glen in Upstate New York, where cousins are more than cousins, wink wink.
Blame this combo on KingAirBoy, GTLayabout, it was his suggestion.

Sooooo....The question remains which Watkins Glen track or tracks would we be racing on?.....one track? Two tracks? What?
....Is it Watkins GP? Watkins Short?.....One or both?

Aero please tell fatboy to be clear with his announcements for cars and tracks as you are. This boy is just too confusing. Told him once, told him a thousand times but the boy head hard.

*Hit and runs*

Mike I am back if Xrad is giving up full time. Like I said I can't sit around and feel sorry for myself so I would like to return to full time status if I can. If anything changes in the future I will let you and the forum know.

I’ll put you back to full time, regardless of what XRad decides to do.
I keep the list updated (Report #4) and will make the changes later today.

I’m going out on a limb. I bet we run both tracks. If you have doubt, practice the longer one and you’ll be prepared also for the shorter. I’ll go further out on a sprig and say there’s a 15% chance of rain. In the unlikely event of rain, put your practice session on heavy rain to see where puddles form.
OR
just badger Mike until he goes insane.
Oh, I did the calculation, it’s looking like 1800 liters of fuel for this one. However, being a risk taker, I’m going to go 25L until otherwise told.

Nice.
I've got a 1:50.8, and I think a 1:14 something. Truly love this car and it's great to drive on this track. I might try to get the Lauda livery today, but not sure how to do it. Besides kind of a shame because there's lots of nice liveries in the game, that rally resemble the spirit of the real procar paints.

This 1:50.8 you getting. Is this with the BMW M1 Procar?
.....And is this with say 10 laps fuel and approx 75% radiator (give or take) etc for 10 lap race or much lower radiator and fuel for 1 lap TT?

This is in the time trial David. I've really been enjoying using the TT for tuning and practice because every lap has the same fuel so I know where I am gaining or losing time, and it's easier to gauge the effects of a tuning change to see if it helped. Today and tomorrow I will start doing some practice qualifying and races.
I'm not sure what I have my radiator set for. I made some slight tuning changes, I think mainly to the camber and the brake pressure. I adjusted the preload the other day which helped get rid of some understeer.

It's a decent time you made there.
Question about TT. In TT does it set the fuel to a specific pre-determined amount or setting like it does set the weather to Light Cloud or is it user determined to whatever you set you fuel level to be?

Hey Mike. I'm confirming for the upcoming season.

Spudds & RVG should be posting today to register as well bud.

Thank you!

Sorry to say this David but I hear you ask in almost every room we are ever in.......in the real world I know for a fact that it makes a difference in how much the car weighs with a full fuel load to a lower fuel load. It also makes a difference in how some cars handle....a full tank can make some handle better and make some handle worse.....same thing for a lighter fuel load.

On this game however......whether you have 150 litres or 1 litre........its not going to make a difference in how fast the car goes or your lap time

I agree with Steve, X-rad, if you can't make it, just let us know.

This is what the Canadian Film board spends our money on. They filmed this in Steve's back yard.
RVG and Spudds are # 4 and 5 on the reserve seniority list.
DP........ I mean David......how long have you been racing with us? Really? I do have a pain in my arse and when I look down to see what's up, I see your face. You must be a Democrat......lol. Drive me knutz. You tell him Cameltoe.
