At first, I saw that $6.25 shipping for one car. I didn't realize the listing says that he can also ship it first class for $3.50. It doesn't matter now. I currently have four M2s on a open order from him. It may still grow. :crazy:
 
Today's acquisitions. I think the Auto Worlds are going to get a wheel swap. The cars are great, the wheels not so much.

OK, while back I mentioned that I wanted to take a shot of Greenlight Flatbed with something cool riding on it. I hope you guys enjoy what I've come up with. :D

I never see Auto World at Walmart near me. I once found one at Walmart out of town. Standard IROC Camaro on a beat up card. I gladly took it. :D
 
Think I'm going to have to get that same Road Runner. I think that's one of M2's best castings.

Edit: Forget it. Only one on eBay and it's $18.

This is one of the two I scored at TRU for something like $2 or less(probably old stock). :O

Does it have to be one of these beat up ones? When I was buying some M2s on TTP tonight, I SO came close to buying this. Seller will ship first class($3.50). I just paid the invoice & he was able to ship four cars for $5. I was so pleased.

I did find a couple more I might buy, put them on my watch list while I decide if I want to spend $30. :irked:
 
OK, two cars I opened up this weekend:

Hot Wheels RLC Real Riders '67 Camaro



I used that technique I think @Dagger311 showed us in this thread?(worked real well 👍) I try to save these "windows" to keep the loose cars from bouncing around in storage cases.



Second one is that M2 1956 Ford F-100. 👍

Edit Bonus: Boulevard Series Gran Torino. I love this car.

Did some reading on HWC.com and most of the people there talking about the KDays event are expecting Q case with the Datsun super.

That is what I would expect too. The reason I wonder is the P cases are just hitting and we are less than two weeks away from Kdays. But if I were to predict, I would predict Q.
 
I'm hoping it is. My local store is on the participating store list, and thankfully I get back from a work trip the day before. Not sure how many people to expect, hopefully not very many.

I was aware of that. :p Also the M2 Roadrunner was the perfect choice to put on the back of the flatbed. Nicely done. 👍
 
Well, if the experienced collectors are betting on the Q-Cases, I may as well go. 👍 I keep forgetting that there are mainline Bluebird wagons, too. Awesome.

I agree, agree & agree with you! It took me forever to get that car, because I wanted it cheap, but then, it was weeks before I actually opened it. That paint job is amazing, even for Red Line Club.

I have another RLC car I chased forever & finally connected on. @R1600Turbo, you used to have this car. I should have it next week but I don't know if I can open this one.

Thanks broseph! 👍 My only worry is how the car has texture feel similar to actual soil. I don't know what they used, but considering how it came out of China, I'll probably get a hand cancer.

Sweet Camaro, and until I buy a case, I try to do it every time. So far I've had three blisters fall off, but only because the cardboard was waterdamaged or weak.

*I'd sooner drop $50+ on a rare E-Type, Land Cruiser or Defender 110S than I would on any $TH.
