Any guesses as to how high that will go during the first week of auctions?

$55? $84? $125?

:D

Of course. Make a white one..Hey we need to make a black one now.

Starting with a red colour? Next one has to be silver.

...and it looks like Canada gets first dibs on the Euro styles as well

Finally got the Long Gone Redline

Been awhile, I know,

Know how busy you are with the blog and everything else but it has mate. Far too long!
Says the man who owns six TLV Super Silhouette cars, of course. :sly:

As long as TLV keeps pumping them out, I've got no doubt that they'll soon easily out number the Silhouette's in Shinji's collection. :p

This came out JUST NOW.

Funny thing was that I have to run out of the hotel and check every convenience store around the area.
Good thing one of the Lawson branches have it.

I have to ask the cashier (in full Japanese!) for the said promo, so she headed to the stock room and took out the box in that photo above.

So I picked the 190E Evo II (because large spoiler).

Oddly, the latest crop of UCC cars have shrunk in size, now on par with HW or Tomica cars.

Such a fun day. I'll be heading back home to Manila tomorrow, though...

Stupid question, but I have to ask.. Is that cold black coffee in those cans? Cool Mercedes BTW. Good choice. 👍

I happen to like *cold black coffee*.

*It's an acquired taste, that comes from years of forgetting you'd made yourself a coffee an hour ago.*

It is cold black coffee. I just drank the two cans. The taste was unbearable.

I want coffee with a bit of sweetness.

So I opened up the packaging:

UCC decided to go for the Minicar (about HW size) route now. Plus, they have side mirrors! This is the best 2 dollar buy ever. :D

And it's also bolted by screws, by the way.

Size comparison with another UCC promo car.

If you're adding sugar to your coffee, you're doing it wrong.

Well then, I'm going straight to hell, ain't I? :nervous:

Joke aside, those last few days in Japan sure were productive on the scale model side of things, right @RCKakashi14? You got your hands on quite a lot of UCC cars, and even got to taste their canned black coffee! Ok, so perhaps it's a little bit too bitter, but if that doesn't work for you, you could always drain the cans and keep them as collector's items. People do that, right? If it was me, I'd rather go for UCC's Milk Coffee, since I dig drinking milk often, although I'd still have to get over the part where said combination would not be anything but cold (and the part where I said that too much caffeine is not exactly healthy for a sensitive person such as myself, haha)...

But I must say, all joking aside, UCC is doing a commendable job, for a non-scale model brand. Even with the size reduction, their cars look really nice for such a cheap product. 2 bucks for a smexy 190 Evo with proper side mirrors and giant rear spoiler is a great bargain deal. Well done! 👍

Mooooooooo...

You just have to make a lot of research on which shops you have to visit. Akihabara has tons of them.

So it's a Kyosho 1/64 model, too? Oh boy, you got a cool bull...

And of course Akiba has a metric ton of hobby shops, that's a dead given for the area known as the Otaku Town. God only knows how many shops I've seen already in general media...

When you want a cold drink, but you don't want something sweet and fizzy.

Iced Cappucinos are a big thing in Canada thanks to one 56 year-old coffee shop.

#HotWheels logic.
