R32. Nice! 👍

Actually, that was the only time I saw the F40, and I've seen Zombot only one other time. On google, I saw a pic of Zombot with tires with red lines in them, and that actually looks ten times better. If I see that one in the stores, I'm buying it! I also think Hot One's pretty cool, and CR-X is definitely a must. 👍
Yea it's full of good ones! I love it when they reissue old Hot Wheels! I have so many of them now including the sting rod, sunagon and countless other ones, i may post a list of the ones i own and maybe some pics to! Frankly the hot ones were released in summer of 2011 and it wasn't til fall i knew about them so that was probly why i missed out on them. I heard that old Greyhound MC-8 bus from the old hot ones series is being reissued, but i can't find it anywhere! I have searched in stores and on the internet and i can't even find a picture of it! Have you seen it anywhere?

Home & Outdoors -> Toys & Hobbies -> Diecast & Toy Vehicles -> Cars & Trucks -> Modern Manufacture

Sort Brand -> Hotwheels

:)

When I go on eBay looking for cars, I click through to HotWheels, then keyword search "Miata". Unlike everyone else here, I don't browse eBay all day for various cars. :p

Hey now, I'm the one who found you that GT-86. :p Sometimes browsing for various cars can be fun...and expensive. :scared: Gotta knock a bit of that Miata-obsession out of you. Has there been any 1:64 scale NC MX-5s? :odd:

I don't do random search on eBay, but once in awhile, I do get get hook'd by those "suggestions". Pretty soon, I'm going "oh, that's nice" then "this one's even cooler!" finally "IMUSTHAVDAT!!!". Typical.

If google search doesn't net you one, good chance it doesn't exist. At least not yet. Pics of the original do come up, and it does look very cool. 👍

I should post some of my stuff up here.
Not great quality stuff but I think that there nice.
CLK-GTR, R34, S2000 etc

At least that's what he told me, unless he somehow mistakened it. :odd: He didn't pick any up and they were by "mistake," he just happened to stop by Walmart's toy section.

Purchases from the indoor flea market today.

They had some boulevards for $1. :D

I have the same Ferrari race car, I found it back in grade school in the oddest way, I was "digging for treasure" with a few friends, we decided anything we found we'd pile together and split amongst ourselves. We found litter, bugs, etc, but I found that, as soon as I found it I put it in my pocket and didn't say anything, I cleaned it up and have had it ever sense. As a matter a fact I have a box in my closet with my favourite Hot Wheels in it, and that one just happens to be in there. I have my very first Hot Wheel I ever got, an orange F-150 with flames around somewhere as well and I kind of want to find it, so many great memories with that little truck. Oh look I went off on a completely random tangent.. :p

It's alright, many of us have done such things. That's one major point of this specific collecting hobby. Much of it is for nostalgia. Especially when you start hunting your childhood cars that are long gone. :p

No that is the year it was copyrighted.

Yea maybe, when i draw it i am basically gonna make it exactly like the real thing but im going to give it "faster than ever" wheels like what most Hot Wheels have.:)

With the new FTE wheels? The 2012 will look good on either white or the red version of the Escudo. But a nice shade of red, not the red like on the 2012 Datsun BB 510 from the FTE series.

Oh. Yeah that can happen sometimes, even when I think of a certain car in the lineup or color and then I visit a store's toy section and I "seen" some car I was thinking about. And rarely it does come up and hit me in the face. :odd:

Btw, nice cars dude. :)

HUGE change to my collecting habit starts right now...

Just found out about the HotWheels master set that is sold at the end of each year, which I will be purchasing when it comes available. These usually sell for around $500, but it comes with EVERY car released during the year, including all of the re-colors. This includes all of the Treasure Hunts and $upers for the year as well. Might seem like a lot of money to put forward, but if you think about the money you save on gas, etc from hunting, it's totally worth it.

So from now on I will only be purchasing errors & rare variations, Hot Ones and Boulevard cars.

That's a good idea to do, because all of the flawless cars will be either be sold online by collectors (Who will wait for awhile before selling) or by 🤬 scalpers (Who sell at unreasonable prices) or over populating stores and their value will go down rather quickly, espically the newer HW cars. So a rare HW or a error will be the gold in HW or any scale cars these days. Which is a good move for any serious collector.

And in all of my years of collecting, I have never, ever heard of the Master Set !

Seriously!!

a6m5
How much is the master set? I can't imagine doing that, personally, because I don't want over 90% of the cars released. I can definitely see the numbers making sense to a lot of collectors though. Besides, I quit collecting awhile back. :p

Yep, I'm with you on the master set. I want only the cars I'm interested in or I like, only RL cars and some of the made up ones like the Mad Manga and 24/7. So I'll leave this set.

And yeah right A6, you have been bit by the HW collectors bug :lol:.

Great news! :dopey: Earlier in the month at my friend's graduation party, I met up with an old friend who graduated from my school a year earlier and he used to be an officer in our Anime Club. Told me he had one of the "Initial D Cars." So I asked him what it was, and NOT being an automotive enthusiast, he didn't know. But he just got me a picture of it and...

It's the R32 GT-R!!!! And I'm getting it for free! :D

Nice Godzilla R32 :D! I have seen one as a 1:24 at Kmart before.

Congrats on the car. 👍

TheeFrogmanlego
Like kinda surprises me you just found out about it =D , The master set cars all are over eBay! Any hows, i just wanted to tell you wheel variations aren't included if you didn't know jeez..

Hey man, I didn't know that HW does sets with all of the cars either and I'm a fan of Hot Wheels.

Well i do know for a fact that they are going to reissue it because i seen a list of the hot ones on Hotwheelscolllectors.com and another website confirming it will be released again. I think it was supposed to be released in 2011 but got canceled for some reason because i ain't seen it and there is still no pictures of it. Luckly it is on the 2012 list and hopefully will be released, it's my primary motivation that got me into these in the 1st place.

Made a few stops this morning. Target yielded nothing, ditto on the Dollar store although their pegs were jam packed. Stopped at Wal-Mart near my work and the pegs are in desperate need of a restock, but I found a wheel error BMW 2002, and THREE of the new '71 Cuda's with the smooth rear window! Been looking for one of those for months, and then found 3 in one day.

I'll post pics when my phone cooperates. Doesn't seem to want to email them at the moment.

Edit: Finally, after 40 minutes...

I missed on the R1600's Wheldon car by .25 cents!!! Sucks for you though, I'm used to seeing that car go by about ten times more than that in average. I wasn't expecting to win any auction, but my bid did come through on this one.

Take your time shipping that one. I'm not in any hurry. :)

What? Why would you think that? :p

Well, thanks for the tip. I'll be on the look out for one. 👍

Edit: Choro Q Honda Civic

Everything is going out on Monday.

I also have a bunch of extra mainlines available you might be interested in, I just have to get a photo up.
Oh, cool. 👍 Yeah, let me know when and where I can check them out!

Find it, that's not an easy car to find today.

Bargain. I was gonna bid on that but then other cars crossed my path and... yeah, I'm now 35 bucks in the hole, again. I hate when that happens.

Anyway, there is a louvered rear window 71 Cuda? Pics of both? That car hasn't hit stores here yet but it will be good to know what to hunt for when it finally appears.

Well, have $25 left in my wallet and...I think I might just stop my collecting in large purchases for a while. Need to save up money for parts for my upcoming project car. If only my parents didn't take the money I saved up after four years of working at the restaurant. :ouch:

It has a louvered rear window standard. I've been looking for the smooth window since it hit the pegs, finally some success this morning.

I'll be brief; no pics since no one cares enough yet:

I've acquired the following today:

HW:
Batmobile Affinity
Batman Arkham Asylum Batmobile
Brave and Bold Batmobile

MB:
2006 Dune Buggy
Holden UTE (Rock'n Rescue)
Porsche 911 GT3 Dark Blue w/ Orange
Ford GT (gold)
Austin FX London Taxi

Ain't finding anything new here anymore. Going to have to travel to Toronto Walmarts.

@frogman, damn lol got work tomorrow. The one on valley or the legit one in el segundo?

Picked up a ralph's 2-pack at el marcado with the ralphs hiway hauler and the silver 845i with opening doors! The bmw also has headlight/taillight tampos.

Was gonna pick up a hot wheels boulevard 914 and a matchbox firebird, but couldnt find it in me to spend $5 on two cars

Yeah, that was bit random.

I can't believe how cool the Evo police car is(looks similar to the two MBs I already have), but what is up with the Subaru?
