Flea Market Finds

All of the carded were 6/$5 except the Hauler and the Drag bus. They were $2.

I know very little about matchbox, but enough to know that when 27 year old carded Superfast are 85 cents a pop...you take them. And if they have them, you take the doubles as well!

I had to finish that big opening:

As you can see, I finally got to the last card - the Super Snake I had promised myself if I got through all the packages.

But opening all those muscles cars made me want to take some off my displays that had been calling for action for too long - some as many as a couple of years. So I harvested a few more favorites off the wall, and thought I might as well fill up my garages a bit:

Finally everything opened except for the Super Snake, and the two Speed Machines.

And here's the Snake. Been wanting to unblister this for ages - finally got around to it:

I decided against opening the Speed Machines; they were going back into Display Mode.

So this was my final haul - and a huge boost to my garage.
But . . . there is about two large clumps that have to be also opened soon.

I saw a few of those Kyoshos listed for $5. I might grab some, maybe next year. I'm not ready to dish out $5 so easily on a new series.

Thought I'd stop by the flea market this morning and Walmart as well. Turns out only one vendor updated their stock, but there were a couple finds I probably missed.

That's true, the wheels don't belong on the Porsche. But I liked it on the Chevrolet Avalanche that I used to have. And yes, the Majorette van is made in France. Unfortunately seems as though it's had someone etch random things onto it.

I would expect it to be exactly the same as the blue & orange ones that came out this year, except in green. That's the only one I am interested in, except for any other new releases that may be out. I'm thinking we'll see the new AE-86 at the event, and the '55 Chevy Gasser.
