You shoulda saw me when I discovered that thing!
The vendor had a box of cars for 50 cents and I bought a handful from that. After looking around more I saw the VW on a shelf and went back to ask how much it was. The lady said "Oooo, I'm gonna have to charge a bit more for that." Then I was thinking Okay, here we go. She's gonna want a hefty sum for this little guy. I was almost more shocked to hear "That's one dollar." than when I saw the car to begin with!
So happy I found it. :D

Go to hell and back.

Wasted a trip to the Young Eglinton TRU. Looks like I won't be visiting until next month. I did however pick up some Jada "For Sale" cars which look pretty baller. Oh and no more Hare Splitters, Shinji. Gomei. :P

That depends, which one(s) pique your interest?.

I will PM you after dinner. 👍

Hey Jason. Did you ever make your dividers for your square RIBBA frames?

I'm doing some math right now and to fit 6 cars, I have to ditch the bracket they give you.

Hah, I had some of those. Even had one of those canister things. :P

👍!

I had a crap load of Pogs back in the day, the memories.

Ha yeah I had a bunch too, and kept bugging dad to buy me more to out-do my friends across the street.

So those Flying Colors... 2012 or 2013 or whatever it is... how much are they worth?

Oh oops! I've been calling it Flying Colors this whole time!

LOL I was sitting here all like "man what has he discovered with this flying colors series I haven't read a thing about this..."

What are pogs? I've never seen those before when I was a kid in the 90's. And I'm a 80s/90s guy!

But I do remember seeing the Peez, or whatever you called them. Those were cool with your favorite cartoon, video game or comic book character's head and with candy :). But I don't see them at all now in the stores.

It was a dumb game where you could slam a stack of pogs and keep what lands face up. But really you could just play with them however you wanted.

And they still do Pez, trust me. See those all the time.

Idiots.

Did I ever make some? I have 3 complete frames.

Going by my measurements on the PDF, it should fit with their brackets just fine...

So Jason, you're trading a Circle Trucker for all those; am I right?

Nope, trading a Drag Bus I had for the Circle Trucker.

Then I'm trading the error Ferrari F12 I found + a few more cars for all the Nissan's pictured above.

Then I posted on HWC about trading my $uper Shelby GT500 for BOTH of the Boulevard Skyline & 510 wagon and the same guy I'm getting the Nissan's from jumped in for it. So I have those on the way too. :dopey:

So I guess I'll keep that Dropstars R32 then...
Maybe you can make me feel better by sending me that black 350Z? :dopey:

Oh by the way, Zachonry, I had second thoughts about buying any of the cars off you. I don't want any anymore, none I want to take away from you. Enjoy 'em. I can probably find more online.

A seller backed out on a Milestone F40 once. Only time a seller actually refused to sell. Ass kicking cars. 👍 Cano, are those Tomicas any good?

Great grabs Wyvern, finally the pink Shadow Jet, ah? I had never seen that RR Diablo. And I need that MR2 in mint condition, mine is way worn.

Cano, are those Tomicas any good?

So do those Tomicas, huh Cano?

Go to hell all of you. Yeah they are pretty good, for $2 they are a steal. The 300SL is common but obviously sought after. And any truck thingies that are complete with their trailers and articulations for $2 are freaking good. The Nissan Cabal is particularly hard to find with the entire basket crane, and the orange trailes is always missing the freaking door. Like mine -_-

Do you want one of the trucks? The guy is at every show and has two more identical trucks with trailer. They are $2 a pop.

Oh dear, here I am about to start another box of stuff to be sent my way. I love it. Yeah I'd like one of those. BTW, any luck with the Vintage Racing series?

A regular ol Wayne & Phil for $6, or a Chase for $8?

A Wayne & Phil Fish'd & Chip'd "CHASE black" for $8... is it even worth going for?

Oh, the color isn't special. It's a signature car. (what I was talking about with the Ferrari's I got)

Edit: At least they could take a photo of the base though...

Alrighty, I'm gonna do a Phil here and reply to you all.

I know, I was so happy when I found that Baby Boomer, it was one of my favorites as I said. :)
Don't worry, you guys get first dibs on the cars I sell. 👍

Thanks, whenever you do. But if you got any ideas or customs, I can wait to find some of those cars. I got a list of the cars that I had back in the 90s and 00s and the years I missed when I was in the bigger scales. But thanks though. :)

And what Cano said on that VW. Jackpot treasure!

Oh okay, now I see.

I haven't seen any of those back in the 90s, in any of the stores, seriously!

That's sweet! I hope I can run into some soon, maybe check the toys or candy aisles next time I'm at the stores again.

Hi guys, big fan of the thread:tup:

Here's some of my latest purchases:

Firstly cars gotten from local stores, they've only just started to get 2013's in, but managed a couple of treasure hunts:

Haha, that 2000GT will ceate quite a stir. I also like the Falcon wag, had never heard about that brand. Looking now.

EDIT: Had a look. The Falcon race cars are awesome, but omg the price. Worth it maybe, but still, a good penny.
