It sure has been(quiet), and I haven't had anything new to post or report. I do have one shipment due in by end of the week, but that's it for me for while. Famous last words, I know.

Quiet here too. Ironically, I also should have a shipment coming in this week, mostly of couple Matchbox 60ths. Not much new out there though, at least around here.

Anyone remember this Matchbox?

Yep, still have it somewhere. Loved it when I was younger.

This thread has been quiet lately. :odd:

Didn't have all the time I wanted to spread my sheets over the past few days since it has been spent going out with relatives visiting from L.A and HK. They're leaving on Wednesday but I'm also loaded with work shifts this week.

I did just snap photos of the recent stuff I bought including the error, Land Rover and Cool Classics I grabbed an hour ago.

You have stuff waiting to go out here too. Help fund my new car. :dopey:

If you need the money now, do a quote on shipping 5 cars and send me an invoice. I can fund you now, but I want you to hold onto it for future items you find (for another 2 or 3 months - won't be going into December, I promise).

Yep, it has been for a few days. Since I'm saving up for pre ordering GT6 and GTAV online to ship to my house (which costs $$$$) and two trades with Jason and Andy, I'm watching my cash and trying to avoid any temptation that may bestow itself on me now. :scared: Especially I have to run errands tomorrow.

But I will get some more photos up soon so that is later down the road.

@R1600Turbo: BTW, what 1:1 car are you getting, the GT86/FR-S?

I'll get the $20 out to you for the first shipment soon, but after this, I'll get the second half later to you for the 2nd batch since I don't know how much it will be to ship one car to Canada for Andy will cost. I'm hoping it's around $10-15 or less. Plus I'll be low until I get some $$$$ after the holidays and my two games. :scared:

And then, almost $140 going to Gamestop for two games! I'm thinking of getting a PSN card and a XBL card for my Forza 4 for the Porsches!

But I'll see what I can do.

If you make a box about as small as a ring box (so... approximately 3"x3"x1", maybe 4"x2"x1" to accomodate bubble wrap or peanuts), you can expect it to be about $8-$9. I would suggest not getting lazy about making a small parcel because you're trying to save money and you probably won't find anything that size.

Nice grabs there AOS- and Diabolicwyvern! :)👍

Well, it has been a while since I have posted here. Went to my favorite antique mall today and picked up these two beauties in extremely mint condition :D :

Spacer Racer

Science Friction

Both are in such perfect condition, you wouldn't even know they are as old as what they are. ;)

Then I got this beat-up GMC Motorhome. :D

Here is a pic of what I think this Motorhome originally was  :

Yes I know it is a piece of junk and I know you are wondering, why did I buy this in the first place? Well to restore/customize it. ;) That was actually the main reason I wanted to go there, so I could find some beat-up vehicles to restore. :D Didn't expect to find those space vehicles there at all.

Edit: Reuploaded since I no longer need Photobucket.

Edit: Don't forget to purchase your Gulf GT-40 guys!
I COMPLETELY forgot. A lifesaver you are! 👍

I ordered just one this time around, but it glitched out twice on me trying to add the car to the cart. I got the impression the traffic was pretty heavy, made me a bit nervous.

Absolutely mind-boggling though how Gulf Porsche 917K is still up for sale while the Buick Gran National sold out the first day of going on sale publicly.

I'm constantly boggled by this stuff. Buick Grand National and Honkty Tonkity Hot Rod or whatever both sell out. But two iconic Gulf cars don't?

Either way, I have both ordered and can't wait to see them in person...next year probably lol

Sold mine, remember?

Your Cobra arrived yesterday.

Edit: Don't forget to purchase your Gulf GT-40 guys!

Also:

Yeah but did you ever get the Aquafresh promo cars?

Cobra arrived? Cool. Thanks for going through the trouble. Would've been kinda cool to add a 1:18 to my room but that's okay. In time.

No I don't want the GT40. $20 for the 917 is enough indulging for 3 or 4 months.

Also, the Belvedere's a kick-ass casting. I wish Mattel will make more of these. Maybe one for the Cool Classics in the near years.

Methinks the retooled 917 isn't a popular casting amongst diehard collectors. I can't imagine them silly billies liking a race car over an American car.

I have the Gulf one, which is the newer, retooled one, right? It looks just like the one on HWC Shop right now.

I love that 917 casting, and am not at all impressed with the Grand National, if it's the same casting as the Boulevard one. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, but it sure does nothing for me. I do love the real life Grand National.

Awesome Falcon Space:tup: also nice older cars guys:drool:

Found some M2 Machines today at a store that never used to have them:

then went a town over to their store and found they had them as well, got the pink Firebird from the first shop and my mate grabbed pink Road Runner from the second:tup:
also grabbed Hemi Cuda & Realtoy Audi RS4 from Toyworld:

I've grabbed two M2 chase cars, and they were green with green tires. Never seen pink, but that gotta be a chase as well. I sold both green cars(Firebird & Cougar) on eBay, I think for around $15.

Thanks for the tips. There's a UPS store not far from my house and I'll check to see what they have in store with small boxes or see what we have in the garage. And I'm gonna use bubble wrap to secure the car and place in a sandwich bag for extra protection.

That's why I'm going to do the trade, since theres a UPS/Postal store and I can use some of Jason's bubble wrap from his trade for the protection and it's also under $10USD. But I'm saving for two games and other things so some things will be put on hold. But I will see what I can manage.

And expect that PM later.

Sweet M2's. 👍 Digging the Nova and those Firebirds especially.

Thanks mate:tup:

I was thinking that when I grabbed it today mate, I remembered seeing the green one a while back in here I think and it being a chase car:tup:

Score, indeed.
Yep! :D The man that owned the place was selling them for $6 each but he said I can get them both together and it will only be $10, so I took it. :D

Also by the way I did see one of them blue Neet Streeter's that said "Oldie but a goodie" on it in perfect condition as well with BW wheels for only $4 and to make matters interesting, it was missing the hood scoop! It appeared to be an error, however unfortunitly I left my camera in the car and I don't have a picture of it. :indiff: Yes I am aware of what you said earlier about the Neet Streeter, but could this be something special?

No. The hood scoop of that car detaches really easily. I'm sure if you picked it up and shook it a little you'd hear the scoop inside the car boucin' around. You can fix that, you just need something small to pull it from the very hole it pokes trough, and a looooot of patience. I did it with my made-in-Mexico car.

and $4 for that in minty condition is really good. Grab it. In an ideal world, use the old "it's missing a part" and get it down to $3.

You have the 1999 50th Anniversary of Porsche 4-Car set which is a HW Collectible model. The retooled one has so far only made it in the 2011 and 2012 Hot Ones. It is also the most recent of the bunch. But you're right. It looks like the HW collectible model and I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be it.

And sandwich bags don't add protection, kiddo. Maybe from water but not physical forces. One layer of bubble wrap is enough. Or if it'll save you time, a cut-down padded enveloped will also do.

Here's another string of feedbacks I found:

And I'm finally done Page C. The table of contents is so big I had to split it up into 2 columns!

Play with it here. All links should be working. :)

Oh I got you now. ;) I didn't get it out of the rotating case and look at it, I was in a hurry but I will consider looking at it further next time I go. ;) I am trying to convince my dad to take me there next week some I can get it. :dopey:

Oh I am definitely going to get it next time I go. ;) I mean to find a vehicle that old in that good condition, for $4 were I live, is almost impossible sometimes. I would have gotten it right away, but I was trying to be careful on my spending. ;)

The man that sold me those space vehicles and that Motorhome was the same man who sold me the Custom Police Crusier and that Seasider. ;) He knew before I did that the hood scoop was missing, so that won't work. I did ask him if I get it for a lower price (and yes he does price reductions ;)) and said no since it was only $4, but he did say if I bought something else with it, he will lower the price to it. ;)
