They're only good for K days. When is the next K day?

Same here for me last night. I was hoping to find @commodoreben some cars, including that Mexican car, but this particular Walmart I hit had old cars I hadn't seen in a long time. Sorry, Ben.

My Walmart isn't nearly as bad. They got a huge haul recently, and the dump bin was full. I didn't even feel like looking through all of them.

Kmart is crap between collectors days.

I know. That's about the only time they restock their shelves.

Damn, thought there would be one in spring. Any info on the next group of exclusive cars?

Pretty sure it's always been February and September. News doesn't get out about cars until a few weeks before.

I wasn't ready to spend so much money on hot wheels after that TLV Skyline Sihouette, but couple of interesting Tomica Limited Vintage came up cheaper, CONSIDERING, so I had to shell out the dough. So I have two more packages from Japan, but one from eBay, another from that Plamoya. By pure coincidence, they both have same gas station signage.

I'll leave it at that. :D

Don't worry about the Mexican car. I found a couple of them yesterday.

Awesome. 👍 I'll check Toys R Us again this week, but I'd be surprised if they have anything different. If you are still interested in anything I may have for sale, I'd take some pics next couple of days. If not, I'll start looking for a shipping box! :)

Now take that photo and swap those cars with Fiat 500's and that's what I saw yesterday in a different town. :p

I was without the Fiat for the longest time. In fact I used to see it in another guy's cubicle by his computer and I was totally peed; he had it more than a month ago.

Then about two weeks ago I was checking the aisles - and -bingo! Two on the peg. That's when the thrill of the hunt kicks in and the whole collector adrenaline pumps up. Searched the pegs for more - nothing. Only the two (for me, of course :D ) that had been in plain sight, front of the pegs, before they disappeared into my basket.

Was glad when I picked up my 500 it was the only one the hobby shop that I usually go to. Never saw one at stores.

For awhile there I thought I would never get it. :scared:

But then I got two and the whole world became happy and all. Like double. :D

Loading various pics right now - so I'll post a couple of some hopefully tasty models.

Now here's one place I want to go to:

Below: Fastest car on the drag strip at the moment. Now I have to bring out the race cars against it - but there's no beating these high-speed, specially engineered wheels.
Majorette Porsche gave it a good fight.

What is that diorama/playset building?

Here's the pics from my haul last Friday. Happened to be good timing, stopped by a Wal-Mart on my lunch break and found a pretty fresh (maybe untouched) bin.

But first, the other 50th Mustang I wanted and maybe the only Matchbox I have bought so far this year.

Here's the Nova wagon (regular) and a Maisto I picked up. I've seen this new All-Stars recently and keep looking them over but never saw one interesting enough to buy. But I liked this one enough and picked it up. Not too bad for $3. Don't know that I would buy a lot of them, but some unique castings might persuade me.

The third batch of ZAMACs this year? First ones I've encountered though. Never saw 1-6.

The only two Snoopy's they had, one for me and another for a family member.

Annnnd the only two Vengeance's they had. Grabbed the second for a coworker who is a big Trek fan.

To top everything off, while digging through them, I found this.

Not my favorite Super, but I couldn't pass it up.

Jeebus Murphy . . . what a haul.

Good stuff, Dwight - lots of nice cars in there; well, ones I would like anyway. :)

@a6m5 - the blue and white building comes from a Tomica play-set - the rest is fabricated.

Told all the Fords to get the heck out of the convenience store parking lot and go back to the dealer lot:

Please stop! You're opening me up to a whole world of awesome old Japanese cars I just can't afford.

You are such a tease.

Huh. Wonder who did that....

Yeah those wheels are super fast. I haven't seen that Fiesta though. Nice one!

Thanks! Yeah it's probably the best single-haul I've had in a looooong time. Couldn't believe my luck to walk out with Snoopy, Vengeance and a super.

The real surprise looker though is the 67 Mustang imo. Had never seen it/knew of it until I saw it in person. Loved it immediately.

The 67 Mustang looks to have a great finish - even through the pack. I must look for that. Also like the SVT and the Mach 1. 👍

I've got a bunch of the All Stars, too, and they are nicely detailed. As for the 50 anni HW - there's money in the future there if you keep it packaged.

That SVT's my favorite. I hope I find one. :O

Which material did you use for the gray pavement? Nice diorama, by the way. 👍

Don't worry, only one of those can be considered a car, and I doubt you'll even like this particular one. :D

Wait, what? Diorama talk in here?

And on the subject of dioramas - did I read you were getting some gas station stuff? You'd better do some dioramas for sure. The grey stuff is stuff you make mouse-pads with. Comes in a variety of colours - try a stationary store.

Beautiful models for the price, and of course the very best wheels that money can buy (in case you needed to tune-up your Tamiya):

I don't think I've ever seen this Mustang before? 👍 I do recognize the watch from another thread though. :D

 It's obviously the 'real' me posting. :D

Can't remember from which series the Mustang is from (Boulevard?) . . . one of the $4.00 cars anyway. Not a mainline.
EDIT: Found a shot of the packge but doesn't tell us much:

Now pay attention, Bond.. . . .

I don't recognize it either. I have a lot of Boulevards, don't think it's from that series. Maybe one of the Garage lines?

I have the card filed away so I could find out for sure. Had it a long time. Thought it was one of the Vintage Racing, but I don't think so - it would have the racing livery.
The Vector is from the Boulevard series and it has similar wheels but not red-walls.

Edit: Can't locate the card yet - it's definitely some 'Garage' line.

Mustang is a cool classic I have it.

Yeah, I bet Dwight's right. Either that, or 100%/Black Box, maybe Ultra Hots? It's not Boulevard, definitely not Vintage Racing.

How about the new one(white/black) next to Mach 1? Shelby Collectible? Greenlight?
Mustang is a cool classic I have it.
It has real riders.
