But I still have to wonder why people spend anything more than say $20 on one item.
This after I just spent $50 on a Datsun Super. :lol: You probably saw how hard I tried to find one in the store, I probably spent 3 times that amount looking for one, then finally caved. I collect that car, so a collection isn't complete when something is missing. Just gotta have it. I recently decided to give up on collecting the Civic EF because there's already a bunch of rare variations for it that I will never get, so being a completest I've given up on it.

That statement was somewhat based on your Datsun. No offense, though. Just different strokes for different folks. I just couldn't do it though.

But I'm sure we have completely different lives.

What series is that orange Acura from? I haven't run across it yet.

It's from the 2014 Mystery Models foil packs.

============

-Didn't win the red Alfa Romeo TZ3.*
-Didn't win the red Alfa Romeo 155 V6 Ti.
-Didn't win the #6 Alfa Romeo 155 V6 Ti.
-Didn't win the yellow F12 Berlinetta.
-Didn't win the LE F50 GT.
-Didn't win the LE Enzo GT Concept.

Saved me a load of money. Impulse didn't win this time. I intend to win some others though.

*Condition: If red TZ3 was not won, I would not get the yellow TZ3 to complete the set.

The best part about shopping for Hot Wheels in stores is when you bring 20+ cars with you to the register and then the cashier asks you, "You a collector or something?". :lol:
Yeah. :lol:

I've been there so many times before, yet I'm still not used to it. :boggled:

Aaaaaaand found another $TH 69 Vette, the purple one with flames, hanging at the very front of the pegs, no less. First time in the history of ever that I find the same $TH twice. Will probably never happen again, too. Trade bait.

Blegh, I'll sell it/trade it locally. There is a sliiiiiim chance I might even get a Datsun for it. Or two for the Datsun.

Errors!

Extra chrome.

All small wheels. Pulled this randomly out of a bin. Card condition is surprisingly in beautiful condition. Another surprise to note is that this is my first ASW error ever.

While I saved me some moolah, the total for the two cars I already won was $33. That's around $17 each. Seller only asked for $6 shipping too. Even if I won the $23 bid on the TZ3, it would've worked out to be $18 per car. Mathethematically speaking, that's a better bang for my buck, but still... $17 per car. :yuck: It's entirely the FXX's fault. Had to fight for that one.

I visited few Walmart stores while out of town today, but first, from eBay(@Johnny1996 , thx for the intro :p):

From Walmart(s):

M2 1957 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer D500

Wasn't planning on it, but man, the paint job. It was hard to pass up on the others, but I picked the one I liked the best.

Ameer beat me to it, but I finally found the MBX Mack fire engine & other nice cars(Lambo & Mustangs from Target).

How are Auto Worlds in quality? Are they like hot wheels or Maisto?
Depends on what you buy. Those pictured above are the regular releases with plastic tires and I think a plastic base.

The premium and licensed premium cars with the rubber tires and metal base are probably the best thing you can buy at retail. (like Walmart)

Didn't think my local Walmart would update the Entertainment series anytime soon. But I was wrong.

The Daytona's been a peg warmer for a long time, but I thought I'd get myself one anyways. The Koenigsegg finally popped up as well as the NFS Mustang (but avoided that one)

I looked & looked for F&F Charger today. No. Go.
It's all right John, allow me.
I so laughed...... :lol:👍

Like Jason said, plastic tires & plastic base on these base cars(3 bucks). I really like them, maybe even more so than their premium cars. These base cars have simpler, but very clean & clear details like with the lights. I'm a fan of both base & premium cars. They feel like American TLVs sometimes. 👍

Only thing I can't stand about the base cars are those hideous wheels they use on the modern cars. I really wanted to buy the SVO Mustangs, but the wheels stopped me more than once.

I just googled it. Those wheels helped in getting me to buy 3 Camaros & the Firebird today. To each his own, I guess. *shrug*
