The colours are what sold it to me, so much cooler than the other transporter's TLV have done. Love the blue/silver.

Spacejarrod forgot to mention that his new TLV is based on a actual transport service called Honda Express('Honda Logistic' today).

My car of the day is this one:

Spark Porsche 997 GT3R Pikes Peak

Very pleased with it. Only issue with it to me are the water slide looking decals. Unfortunate, but I still love this casting. More here if interested.

I also committed over $200 on something at Playmoya, but they have nasty habit of taking my order, taking my money, then a week later, they go "sorry, we couldn't find the model, but here's your refund & a coupon lol" 🤬

I don't want to jinx it, so I'll let you know when it happens, or doesn't happen what the item was. They've yet to process the order.

This mystery order I didn't want to jinx went thru today. Also a first for me, and also a transporter(Japan Booster example). So excited.

I have the TLV ladder truck, but they are generally $100 or more. I'm not at all familiar Del Prado, but if they could keep up the TLV ladder in the number of parts, I'd be really surprised. I do think they are both awesome.

Hot Wheels Auto City 10 Pack! Yep, still in the box and all the castings are still in mint condition! I am absolutely thrilled to own this and look forward to some quality play time with them! (Individual pictures coming later! )

Hey guys, been a while since I last posted here. Anyhow, I've got abit of a mystery going on that I haven't quite figured out: The real 1968 Mercury Cougar that the Hot Wheels car is based on.

I actually have this exact car (and actually got a 2nd one for Christmas, featuring a groovier 36 on the side) and I have yet to find a real one with that Rear Spoiler.

Good to see Matchbox back in form with more realistic castings in their range, the focus on fantasy models was disappointing to say the least.

Ah yes, those Thunderbirds cars... They are not design masterpieces, but their uniqueness does make them stand out from the rest of Tomica's offer. And it's still interesting to see a Japanese company do more for Thunderbirds than the UK did in terms of scale models; you'd expect a company like Corgi to do those, not Tomica...

That FAB1 is basically a Rolls-Royce Phantom which has gone through more modifications that it would've liked, and it's properly British in that aspect...

Looks like someone went on a Christmas spending spree, haha. Well I wouldn't blame ya, I'd love to spend the money I got on a TLV...

But something is putting me off on that LARK Longtail; the exhaust tips. They look like decals from certain angles, or maybe that's just me...

You're welcome, it's not everyday that I get to see a Tomica car modeled after a British television show.

Regarding my own experience with Thunderbirds is that... well, I have none. Portugal never really broadcasted shows like that on its television, nor has done so as far as I can remember. Japan, on the other hand, seems to respect the show quite a lot, which is rather neat.

Maybe one day we will see a Team America set from Tomica...
What? If Japan could create something as unashamedly American as Metal Wolf Chaos, why not pay hommage to the classic "'Murica, f-yeah!"?

Funny that that first pic has a clearance sticker on the Real Riders car already. That's Target for ya, things never stick around for very long in their stores before they are in a hurry to get rid of them.

Everyday without a sale is a loss for business operations. I think Walmarts may have a better chance at getting rid of stock if they did clearances with lower quantities of cases on a more frequent basis.

I actually have this exact car (and actually got a 2nd one for Christmas, featuring a groovier 36 on the side) and I have yet to find a real one with that Rear Spoiler.

That is because, in grand Hot Wheels tradition, the "base car" would be extremely modified. No factory 67 Cougar ever wore such front spoiler, rear spoiler, fender flares (specially these), nor such a hood scoop. Look at it as a trans-am-ized version off the car. I've already opened up one of the white ones to develop some racing livery on it. Only thing I left in place was the Mercury Cougar scripting on the rear quarter panel. Rest of the car's white is going to be a great starting point.
