Impulse buys are the best buys...

More to come soon, I've bought a lot of models recently.

I've largely gone back to 1:18 and 1:24 collecting, but as a fan of Euro Truck Sim, I just had to preorder this Scania, which has dispatched this morning from Mattel Creations. Love the tipping cab to reveal the engine.

My friend, I think you should make a half layer in between, so that the ones below won't be covered and you will have additional space.

Sound advice but those are ikea cabinets and the don't sell smaller shelfs for it.

The backplate is just a thin sheet of veneer so it won't hold any kind of loads and I'm not crafty enough to make my own shelfs that would attach to the sides.

I did realise after posting that pic, that I have one extra shelf left that I can install to the bottom of the leftside cabinet, but after that, whole new cabinet needed if I plan to continue collecting.

Or selling off those that I don't want nor need anymore.

TLVN releasing Diablo, LFA and LFA Nurburgring.

God forbid them from only releasing those in conventional colours. I feel they were too conservative with the colours offered for their Ferraris, and not even the lime green Miura that they've announced is cutting it for me. I fully expect pearl blue for the LFA and maybe lavender for it and the Diablo too.

Also, here're some pics of the MC12 GT1 I've lavished praise on in a post here several months ago. Once again, immaculate paint job, some metal stickers scattered throughout, and hardly any filmsy decals.

I mean, I'm no expert when it comes to telling the difference between tampo-printing and decal work, but if you ask me, I'd say it's tampo-printed. And it sure looks to be the case:

Good job to BBR.

And here're some ages-old pics of Mercedes 1/87s that I never thought about posting, all made by Herpa. They may be slightly off-topic, but I don't see anywhere else more fitting:

Good job to BBR.
I have the road car and it's one of the best models I own.
