Finally got this beauty after regretting not getting one when I was in Japan last Christmas-New Year holiday.

I hope I will find that MBX Superfast Audi Sport Quattro S1 for a reasonable price. They're not yet available here, and I just saw a few on ebay and in China shops for already ~30 bucks for a normally 8-10 € car here. I'd like to pair it with the HW S1 E2 RLC and my other HW Sport Quattros in rally styles too which aren't sorted yet into the clear cases accordingly.

Question: Do any of you still have/collect the "fake" cars that Hotweels puts out?

I have a bag of some of my favorites from a while back
I still do to a certain degree. I typically try to buy any Hot Wheels that sort of fit the theme of muscle or anything fictional, mainly because they're easier to get in stores compared to licensed ones that are hard to find. Not to mention said model having a better alternative from another brand if I save a little.

The X-cceleron being the most recent fantasy casting that I have. I loved the first edition when I found at a supermarket, but I didn't buy it and it was sold the next day. This one, reminded me a lot of the Mazda Furai that I took it along with that Matchbox Viper that I showed weeks back.

I bought that exact car last Friday because it reminded me of the Apollo IE! Otherwise, I simply don't buy them new for the sake of my budget, although like you I enjoy their fictional hypercars. I think this one is from the kid's TV series on Netflix, actually

I collect the odd fictional car, but usually they're the ones that are at least somewhat credible enough that they could be real, or like Time Attaxi and Mad Manga, fit within a real world custom theme.

However, on occasion they make something so left field that it becomes super cool, like this one called Bon Voyage.

That's unique enough that it could only be Hot Wheels.

It’s been awhile, but I have purchased a few more in the last few months. The week or so I have been scooping up a very niche Motorsport, 90s Monster Trucks. Before Monster Jam took over and became a circus show that just tears up equipment, it was a true racing category. I have always been a Ford guy, so most them will be Fords. The first one that kicked off the shopping for more was an emotional tie from childhood.

I have a couple of more coming in over the weekend and I think that will be it for awhile; or until I see something I like.
