a6m5 - put those Power Lifters to work - movable parts!

I know. It was so cool I thought, I had to buy two. As soon as I got the chance, I opened one, tried lifting car up in the air, but I realized it couldn't(duh). I like the color on the new one better, but yours seem to have better tampos, markings, or whatever. I'm being very picky here, but the new one is marked with race team information, and I'd rather have a simple warehouse duty model. I'm weird like that.

I didn't do too badly this weekend, adding to both ends of my collection.

First off, late saturday night I stopped in at the supermarket on my way home and found the pegs were completely empty...

...but there was an opened and otherwise undisturbed box of hotwheels sitting on the floor in front of them. Rifling through the box I came away with this lot.

Not bad for £15.52 I thought.

Then sunday lunchtime I wandered down to the local carboot sale where I found this lot for a total of £2.40

The only (realistic) way I could have been happier would have been if there had been some Thunt$ in that box on the saturday night.

Screw you with the boot sale grabs. amazing for that price, omg. The Shell rig alone should be worht that. And HOLY HELL THE MAJORETTE TRUCK WITH THE STAIR. I'm sure you know how difficult it is to find it complete. It looks in great shape, too. Screw you twice.

Also, I spent last night taking pics of all my recent grabs, from supermarket to E-Bay to flea market trash. I'll have them ready for tonight, hopefully.

and people, visit the customizing thread, got dammit! It's so alone there are desert bushes rolling trough the place.

I'm sorry you didn't find any TH's, Car-less. If it makes you feel any better, I went through an brand new dump bin and I couldn't find one. I suspect it was one of those new secret Super-TH that are not specifically marked in that bin.

Actually, I can; just never go to the toy sections anymore. I'm not a shopper not do I enjoy shopping really. I've already dumped a lot of money on my longboard, and I'm fairly sure as long as I have my mind on other things, I'll forget about the cars. All I need to do is so stop coming around here before someone posts the 2013 poster.

Had my biggest purchase today. Bought about $30 worth of hot wheels and matchbox, along with one M2 car for my friend. Was very tempted to buy the Jada 4 Wheeler Ford F-150 Raptor, but I think I'll buy it another time. Somehow managed to sneak the large bag full of them past my parents. I can officially say that the Dollar Tree is my local spot to find good 2011 hot wheels I missed out on. I'll be posting pictures tomorrow.

Edit: I did find an error Hot Ones Porsche 917 with a missing rear engine glass cover that was loose in the case. Might go back and try to buy it.

I have a Corgi Juniors myself - the one remaining - posted a while back - it's a bronze Willys.

93) The name's Bond - James Bond, and the ejector seat does work - sometimes.
94) A Batmobile, and a Batmobile that seems to have been attacked with a black marker.
95) 'Supermobile' - (c) DC Comics inc. 1979.
96) 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' is unfortunately missing one of it's wings.

But, of course . . . Bond's ejector seat works - but it depends on whether he's playing 'Kiss, kiss' or 'Bang! Bang!' heehee. And of course with a name like Chitty, Chitty, you're going to lose a wing or two! hah. I love that whole selection - all famous pieces, nicely put together. 👍

100) Militaria - a Centurion Tank, Commando V100 and Daimler Scout Car.

...and then I hit the 200 picture limit. The trucks will be along soon.

This last selection has to be one of the most interesting posts ever made in this thread - really nice models, and fully worthy of the great collection you have.

@Photonrider: I'm liking your orange Charger RT from HW and the red Maisto one. I got a blue RT. So I gonna keep a good eye out for them.

So how did the HW Charger RT run on the 1/4 mile?

You got a 900+hp of Detroit muscle there. A beast.

Ran very well. The muscle cars don't run too fast or long - Speed machines though are very fast.

Thanks to you guys, I am getting the itch. Saw the biggest display for 88 cent Hot Wheels at Wal Mart a bit ago. Grabbed two off the top row with barely looking, so I didn't spend too much money.

Nice start, disinfected. Gotta look for that C4! Strangely enough I was tooling around in a stock red C4 endlessly around Eiger in GT5 this evening. What a freaking fabulous car. Now I have to get that HW.
As for 'collecting' - you don't have to go overboard. Trying to collect ALL the cars is a nightmare - focus on a range, or pick up only what really turns your crank and over the years it will add up to a sizeable collection.

Before I went shopping, I told my parents that I had to get to a friend's place to work on a project over spring break. And they believed me. Left about 2 hours before work and went straight to work right afterwards. Then at work I planned on telling my parents if they saw it that it was some "props" for my video production project. However, when I did get home my father was cleaning up the basement and my mom was busy cooking. So none of them saw me walk in with the bag.

Just go to the table of contents and click on the Custom Shop. It's page 44-45. Definitely worth a look. I hope they're out in the U.S. since I haven't been able to find any at all. :/

If only they weren't so uptight about money. They didn't even take up a decent deal on buying a 2012 Subaru Outback because they felt that it was too much. And now that the sale is over, they gave up. (They're almost always off and on when it comes to THINKING about purchasing a car). I wish they would be ok with me collecting diecast cars. While my brother who's been collecting airsoft guns... (which had them freak out so much that my dad took a hammer to one of them)
