I do feel like I'm also straying from Hot Wheels/Matchbox (at least for the current gen). Getting far too distracted by Tomicas lately...

Pretty cool purchase a6m5. That Bronco looks amazing! Do they have a 1st generation Bronco? (My personal favorite Bronco) I have noticed there are several M2 Machines in their plastic cases being sold at my flea market for $2 each. Might be worth it?

Dude wtFFFFF, $2 for M2s?? I'd kill for such a thing. Is there a way you can, you know, go and buy them and send them back to me?

Store here stocked up on a TON of silver Aventadors, 2 WRX STis, and some other 2012 I haven't seen before.

Picked up the subbie, that one other car and the 2012 corvette c6

Jesus Christ, Medigo & goat, it's not a Bronco, it's Plymouth Trail Duster! Thanks for the compliments anyway. :P That roof fits so snug though, my hats off to Greenlight. Amazing craftsmanship. 👍
Go to hell A6m5. Very cool. You should also look into Hot Wheels 100% line, if you dig the detailing in the Greenlights/M2s you'll also find those attractive.
Thank you for the compliment & the tip.👍

I looked around a bit for these "100%" Hot Wheels on eBay, but they are spendy for sure. Does anybody know which American retailers might carry them locally?

Again, thanks Cano!
The Dan Weldon cars are NOT a TH, and are far from rare. People can't find them because the hoarders are taking them all and trying to hock them off on people through eBay for ridiculous prices. :yuck:
Which effectively makes them rare. It's really unfortunate, and I'll keep on looking, but I'd be happy if I could find just one!

The 100% line has been out of production for almost 10 years. Eeeeevery once in a while they release something along those lines, like the recent (this year) Snake & mongoose Funny car and hauler sets which were sold trough HWC. Your best bet for snagging them up is... guess.

Got the blue scoobie, target is bone dry, My dad drove me to Walmart ,I wanted to puke at Walmart WHO SHOPS THERE the toy isle is a freaking mess! And The stock there's OLD! not good OLD BAD OLD!
whoever told me target had new stock -.- LIES!!!

I never have any luck with Target.
"Community" rare is not the same as "Manufacturing" rare.

Since locally, every single one of us buy them in our community, manufacturing rare or community rare, it's a moot point. ;)

Mattel can increase production by 20 million tonight, it still does absolutely no good unless they get past the collectors, scalpers, hoarders, then into our hands!

*edit - try reading that post again. I made this very clear. :sly:

I would imagine even scalpers will stop grabbing the same car after they already have 10+ so if Mattel hypothetically does increase production of a TH, they're eventually going to have to stop meaning that store is going to have THs on the pegs for collectors.

If Mattel promised that these cars will be available for everybody, I hope they stay true to their word. I know very little about Mattel or Hot Wheels, but I just can't see them increasing production to satisfy just the collectors though.

These cars have rubber tires, right? Which means they cost more for the company, and probably are their loss-leader models, which they lose money for every single one they sell. Mattel is a corporation, they have a bottom line, and losing money is frowned upon........ I guess we'll find out!

Awesome stuff sent from R1600! Very jelly over that GT-R R34... :P

Just won a giveaway from RaceGrooves!!! This is actually my first ever giveaway that I've ever won!
YouTube Link

No idea what he will send me, but I believe he always messages the winners of them and asks what they may like. And yes, I am a subscriber to him and enjoy his videos. :sly:

Yeah I'm so jelly with the Active Silver R34 👍. I gotta get a few more, I want my Nismo Z-Tune.👍

I'll subscribe to this guy when I go on YouTube. Maybe I'll get lucky with RaceGrooves' giveaways. :sly:👍

Have you guys seen how much Wheldon car has been going for? It's as much as the Super Treasure Hunt, or higher.

Anywho, my eBay stuff came in today. They consist mostly of Greenlight & Johnny Lightning, and they are nearly all loose. All from one seller:

Nicely detailed cars that I was actually going for.

CRX I got for heck of it.

My favorite one. With, or without the top!

My interest has been shifting from Hot Wheels/Matchbox to Greenlight/Johnny Lightning/M2 cars, lately. I have another lot coming from the online store. I should be able to post them here next week!

I want dat CRX, NAO!!!👍 Time for some Import Tuners and Super Streets. If you like JL Import Heat series, they also have a Integra Type R, NSX, and I think they have a Civic Si. There's more, but I remember mostly the Hondas though. :indiff:

Yep, those people again .

Thanks you 🤬 scalpers and hoarders.

Jesus Christ, Medigo & goat, it's not a Bronco, it's Plymouth Trail Duster!

I didn't know that was a Trail Duster, I thought it was a Ramcharger from Dodge. Didn't look at the Plymouth badge. :dunce::lol:

AOS-
"Community" rare is not the same as "Manufacturing" rare.

Which is true. The scalpers make it harder to collectors and others who are looking for a certain car. Which makes it harder for the rest of us. :grumpy:

Maybe one day, but it'd have to be a major restore.

Ok, but whenever you do it, it'll look good regardless.

I just got it, because I was buying bunch of cars from this seller anyway, and also because I never see CRX hot wheels. It's little ricey for my taste..... which is funny, because I love rice(as in food, grain). I can eat rice three times a day!

Rice? Where, you found a bottle of NAWZ and some neon lights on it? :P:lol:

But it looks ok, espically if you remove the vinyls, then the CRX is perfect. I think I seen it before when I was in the stores and that's was a long time ago.

And yes I also love rice(the grain product.)

The current alotment for that car is 1 per box. I've even heard some people say that they found 2 in a box. I think Mattel got away with the extra costs of the rubber tires by putting a plastic base on that car. (which I think usually has a metal base?) They're losing money on them anyway since they have committed to giving $1 for each car sold to Weldon's family.

Edit: 2013 Viper popped up on the sneak peaks today, hitting stores at the end of this month.

Tax write off! That's what that's called. Good gesture, regardless. 👍

Thanks for the info on the car. I needed to go to Walmart this weekend. I might try going late tonight, see if I can hit the hot wheels right after they unpack them!

Might have to run down to Wal-Mart today, still can't find the GT3-RS and I kind of want the Dan Wheldon car... Ebay is never really a good idea for Hot Wheels right?
