Good luck finding a Kombi in the stores. If you find one, buy a lottery ticket too.

I caved in and bought the new 5-pack with the new 24/seven in it today. And that's it for my purchases until the next meet...
What is the deal with those things? Green one's starting to come down in price, but I have no idea how much the orange ones are. I'd imagine Enterprise would be next to impossible. I pray Supra get overproduced like they did with the 510s, Celicas, etc.!

I think the collector activity's too heavy in my area. Only success for me has been the Boulevard 510(I've ran into total of five, bought three). Retro Entertainment's the same way. My stores are overloaded with crap garbage, but anything remotely collectible I think are gone that day.

Yeah, I have yet to see any Kool Kombi, in any color, in any store. They might as well be $th. Star Trek Enterprise is looking to be the same way.

I found one store today that had a J-case shipper out. But it looked like someone went crazy with it the second they opened it - only about 7-9 cars left - 2 Lotus Evora GT4s, Lambo, and the rest were fantasy cars.

So all I got today:

That too.

I've seen a ton of them at the Friday meets, but never have asked how much. One person had a sticky note attached to theirs that read $5.

Ironically, it's growing on me. I'd swap it anyway.

J5s or PR5s are fine, but I may try Y5s for a change. Or actually, sand off the rim of the silver and make a U5 wheel. That's refreshing!

I looked for the orange one on Toy Peddler, and $5 was the cheapest I could find, and that's only if I buy two or more to save on the shipping. :ouch: I may do it one of these times.

Considering I was lucky enough to snag one of those Kool Kombis (first new model in green) when it first came out, doesn't really mean much to me. But seeing that most of you want it, I'll be happy to send you my loose one. And not charge any more than what the price would be in store. ;)

Jealous over those Boulevards a6m5! Especially the Subaru... Still never got to find one of those Grand Nationals. Still drives me mad that the stock on the pegs is SO few, but hasn't been updated. Almost tempted to do something in my own hands to get the employees to finally restock.

Anyways, stopped by TRU on the way back from a friend's house and picked up a 1:32 scale Murcielago (will post a picture of it in the appropriate forum) and finally got the Matchbox Jaguar XK120! :D

McZ will be sending me a green one for our trade, but I'll be up for any trade involving the loose Grand National(already opened it). Also have R5, Skyline Boulevards, or 60th Matchbox Gallardo if you'd be interested in those. Send me any offers!

I'll take them, apart from the Gallardo. TRU has an entire display with nothing but 60th cars on it. Considering how many cars I have... Just throw me a list of whatever you want and I'll see what I can send. Still have to send Cano's box. :ouch:

Supras are everywhere, same with the Evora GT4 and Evasive S2Ks, Screw you guys, I'm jelly!!! Asaasrrrgggghhhhh!!!:crazy:

Save some for me. And that blue M3 E30! :D

Rather curious as to when the 2000GT will be coming out... Since the NSX pictures showed up, they're apparently part of the K mix. And the 2000GT photos have been out for a while.

Me too. Since the leaked or stolen 2000GTs earlier this year and the hype about the car and more photos is making me nuts and full of hype for this car. I'll buy this car ASAP or trade/buy for at least two for my collection.

And I'm gonna get that Hyura when he comes out soon as well! It will be my first Pagani in my collection. I wished that they can get the Zondas also, especially the 7.3 C12, F, Cinque and the mighty Zonda R!

You laugh now about that Koenigseggisseggggnignigsegigisegggg, but looking how this year is turning out, I wouldn't be surprised to see an Agera or most likely its successor in the Hot Wheels lineup within the next year or two.

A Koiengsiegg Agera R and a CCXR will make my day also! :D

First it was the R34, E30, WRC Mini Evasive S2K and BMW 2002 and now seeing the MkIV Supra, 2F2F R34, Hyura, FR-S/GT86/BRZ, Evora GT4 the C7 and maybe a recolor of the SRT Viper one day?!

HW 2013, it's the best year for Hot Wheels! :D

R1600Turbo
Just got back from the HW meets with:

- Regular 2000GT
- F&F Supra
- Star Trek Enterprise
- Lotus Evora
- All 3 new Zamacs
- $uper Datsun 240Z

All for $25. Considering what the Datsun goes for on eBay, I think I did ok.

Did they have more of them? If they do, can you pick up the Supra, 2000GT and the Zamac R34 and Nova for me? Thanks :).

Nothing in my local stores today :grumpy:. But I have to do some important things next week so I'll stop in Walmart or Targets and hopefully I can find some of these cars. Can't wait to get them into my collection! :D

Thank you?

:P

You need to catalog some of your cars for trades, as I wouldn't even know which car you might have. It's not complete or perfectly current, but here's mine.

Good news for me! and who ever else is from NC on this forum!, There is a new(pretty massive store) that opened up here in greensboro Speciallizing in anything that has to do with japanese hobbies(it's called TokyoHobbyconection) They have (rather limited selection(for now) of Tomica,Tomica limited, Kyosho 1:64-1:18, HI-Story mini cars(Vary few), J collection, tamiya, Aoshima, ARII, NEO, but no ebbro(but thats cool cause i already have a ton of em) etc, even sell manga and anime Box sets also figures etc... That store is a gift from god, It's off of west wendover exit near Lamborghini Carolinas and Sheetz gas station beside Rolex ETC you can't miss it,Giant stylized banner with kana morphed into English, store is located directly on north battle ground avenue beside Acme comics which is near Hobby town USA. But be weary, Prices are still as high as what you will find on ebay.

Iv'e noticed ever since Greensboro landed Honda Jet incorporate, we've been getting a slew of new Japanese marketing in the city.. interesting, i wonder what else will come. though my prayers have been answered of a Japanese hobby shop.

Though i will still remain shopping on ebay, until the store gets an even bigger selection.

Some Instagram photos for today. I bought an RMZ 1/64 Porsche Cayenne Turbo. RMZ 1/64s can be easily mistaken as Kyoshos at a glance.

You have a good camera, Kakash. You don't need instagram, silly. Use at least photoshop to "touch up" your photos.

Instagram's made for phone-users who don't have real cameras.

And for the Lamley Group to find more customs...

right. I forget that too. Sharing photos via instagram wasn't an interest to me since people tend to go overboard with the filters like it's a decorative contest.

We have bunch of those stores here, but I've been in one like once. I can't even remember why, it wasn't by choice. It was cool to see the older Japanese toys though. God, Japanese toy stores rock so hard..... they really pale in comparison here in the States.

Detailing looks good, but how much? The bigger model does look much more realistic though.

Patriotic, much? :P
Dude, if you ever even just visit Japan, you'd understand. When I first came to the States, I swear, as far as the electronics & toys go, I thought I went back in time. Everything was so crude & LAME. Of course, I don't care about toys now, and you can't buy guns in Japan, so.......

:P
RMZs are cheaper than HW...
You are not talking about the mainline($1) hot wheels though, right? Regardless, it is very cool for the price.
