Just stumbled upon this one in a major toy store:

It's the only one left, and I had to buy it before somebody could get their hands on this one.

Anyone that has cars waiting to be shipped from me, would be nice if they disappeared in the next week or two. :)

I gotta go to the store and a few errands this morning, but I have to get a PSN/XBL card and pre order GTA V this weekend :ouch: But if you ship out my first box next week, I can see about getting you the money later, unless you need it ASAP, then I can work something out.

Dont really have much more than you guys have seen already. Although my complete zamac set from this year, and the complete F&F set are on ebay.

Can you check for any Zamac R34s, F1s, a second 993 GT2, Renault 5 Turbo or any F&F Supra and RT Charger (non-mainline) at the meets later? If not just let me know. 👍

Lastly a shot of all the cars in the case they came in

As a jelly harvester, I can tell you you're going to have a hard time growing jelly without sufficient lighting. Acquiring a brighter will increase your chance of success.

Other than that, nice find on the R92CP.

Hey, Ben . . . take off, eh? :grumpy:

Edit:
MG! This thread has actually been quiet for a whole five mins?

I have a load of pics but been so busy lately that I've not had time to even do a PB dump. While I have had no time to shop for cars, I did manage to sneak in a couple now and then :D.

BBL, with some pics.

a6m5 - can you please stop not collecting and taking all the good cars off the market? It's ruining things for real collectors like the rest of us.

I love the R33 Calsonic the most.

Nice buys. 👍

Hi dude. Can I get your response to this please if you don't mind?

Kakashi. Do the regular run Kyosho models have some sort of series name?

I'm trying to add in info in my library and I have no idea what to put in it. For stuff like Hot Wheels I can throw in series names in place of it, but I don't know if Kyoshos has anything I can use. Same goes for years. For instance, do you know what year the Mercedes SL65 Black Series was released? Is it part of a Kyosho product series?

You're likely the guy among us who'd know which is why I'm asking you.

I think the 'Tide' version just became my favorite Twin Mill. Nice. 👍

Harry: Just consider me the scalper/troll. Sorry.

As far as I'm concerned, Kyoshos don't have series names. The AMG Minicar Collection, for example, has been released in 2011. They don't follow a similar naming system like "2013 New Models" which is the case for Hot Wheels. They just release boxsets now, and even a re-release of a boxset that has been released before (like the Ferrari Minicar Collection 8 Neo which was released in early to mid-2011)

I am not that good in reading Japanese... Nihongo ga sukoshi dake dekiru yo! So I might miss out lots of info in the website.

They also release special edition sets like this:

5,800 Yen = 60 USD

"Minicar collection #" will do just fine in that case. Is there a website you know of where I can find a whole index/database on kyosho models? I've got some McLarens I don't even know how to describe.

If you want to get a peek on the latest 1:64 Kyosho models, go here:

http://www.kyosho.com/jpn/products/diecast/index.html

You'll see this:

Scroll all the way down, and you'll find this:

9631124435_40ba45e637_c.jpg

That particular area could provide you with the answer as to what Minicar Collection number your model belongs to. Because this is the place where you'll find all the boxsets the brand has released. And yeah, it's jelly inducing...

Hmm. It shows that list in the Japanese site, not on the English strangely enough.

"Kyosho Make Minicar collection #" seems to be appropriate. I take it Kyosho released their models in box sets and not singles deliberately. It's the sellers that happen to sell individually.

Here's a good question: I have the red Porsche 911 GT1-98. It's in the Porsche Minicar Collection 3, yet the box mine came in was a Beads Collection. The original eBay listing said so too. Does this mean that Beads isn't its own line of cars?

Okay I've more or less found that page I'm looking for and I'm pasting it here for those who are also interested in seeing a sort of catalog of their Minicar collection: http://www.kyosho.com/jpn/products/diecast/brmc/minicar_collection/index14.html. You just click on one of interest, click that gray bubble roughly in the center of the page, then on the left, there's two square buttons. Click the one that doesn't have "20" in it.

edit edit: Got a name for most of my Kyoshos, now to find one for the Huayra. I asked someone who may have a clue, but I have a feeling "Factory Dealer" may be the closest bet.

I trust you guys received email from HWC on the new Blown Delivery this evening? This just might be the car that's eluded me the longest($$$), it's coming out for just $10.

I've thought about joining before, but I don't at all care for the membership car(Camaro), so I've passed it up so far........ but Blown Delivery got me convinced, THEN I remembered: So far, every release I've seen has taken place at 9am on a Tuesday(Pacific).

If I join, it'd be for the hot releases. As long as I have a day job, I most likely won't join.

The Huayra is made by the "ex-Kyosho" factory. Just call it as an OEM. Kyosho probably has a new contract with another factory to make their models. (Comparison, anyone?)

The 458 GT2 is also made by that OEM factory, albeit commissioned by Mattel.

Beads collection was Kyosho's special lineup. Then they just focused on making the boxsets.

If anyone has a Vintage Stock nearby, they have 33% off pre-owned toys this weekend for Labor Day. 👍

Also, on the Wal-Mart rewards site, I had 2500 points when I last submitted something about a week ago. Logged in today and had 4000. Don't know how, but I redeemed for the School Busted. Now I wait. But you might want to check your points balance.

How recent was this and is there a definitive way of finding out what is and isn't OEM? Perhaps by year of release?

Simple, OEM models have black boxes and display cases.

OEM models start popping out since last year. The only ones released are:

VW Beetle 2012
Pagani Huayra
Porsche 911 Carrera S (991)
Ferrari 458 GT2
Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4
Toyota 86
Lamborghini Murcielago RG-T
Nissan GT-R

Upcoming:

Ferrari F12 Berlinetta
Mazda CX-5
