At one point, they seemed to be going for Super Treasure Hunt money. Since Paul Walker passed away, Skyline's been going for maybe around $10.
I have the Skyline too. Those happen to be the only Fast and Furious cars I have.

I'd want the first gen MR2. I'd buy it. Jason would, too, so I know for fact they can sell at least two of those.![]()
Best idea EVER.Make that three. And I know @Gotbeefboy564 specifically said HW but because I like fancy pants models, I'd love to see a TLV version of the original MR2 as well.![]()
I also played around with two others today, but it felt like the body was locked down on this new one.My metal/metal Mini's open up with very little force. If there are opening issues, it would probably be due to paint on the grill aperture of the body, or an ill fitting hood cowl.
That is the truth, though lot of people don't understand that.I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.![]()
Beautiful pics as usual, but no thanks. j/kHai, douzo!
Ohhhh, that collection right there just hit me with a huge mesh of nostalgia. I swear that I've had or played with at least 10 hotwheels/matchboxes exactly like these when I was a kid.

Most supercar castings from Mattel are bad because of those huge rear wheels they put on them. Just makes them look goofy.
I googled the real car last night, and I did think the actual car looked cool. You guys already mentioned it, but it's not the first time we've been disappointed by the new casting.Word. And in here, the proportions are all skewed. Headlamps, roof height, everything is off.
I like that HW has done a cast of that car, even if it isn't exact.
And we are talking about a car that sells for around $1."Better than nothing, but could've been better" is usually how I feel about these things.
Yeah, very few exceptions to that pattern."Better than nothing, but could've been better" is usually how I feel about these things.
I heard you say that in my head, as soon as I read the discussion above. And we are talking about a car that sells for around $1.

Reminds me of my Wal Mart to be honest. They still have the first set of Flying Customs on the pegs and haven't bothered to update them in month's!Speaking of finding hot wheels while grocery shopping, my grocery stores finally started carrying hot wheels after going real slow on the stuff for a many, many months.
I'm shopping & I see two cardboard bins of Cool Classics. I'm all excited, because I thought I was going to find the CRX & the Toyota truck. This brand new bins(TWO!) of Cool Classics have the very first release in them. Bah.![]()
I'm sure there's a reason, why don't you ask them? I don't care for the car, so in general I could care less.True, but cost hasn't much relevance to the chin lift or raised chassis I was speaking about. I'm pretty sure we don't have the designers going "It's only a $1 car, so make it look less accurate!" lol
I know it's a toy car intended for the tracks, but let's not forget there have been some mainlines made that don't even do any good on one in the first place ('65 Impala and '64 Continental come to mind). If they can make an exception there, who's to say they can't just make another exception for the Mastretta? That said, it's possible that they could've made it without the chin lift and still sell it for $1. Wouldn't you agree?
