well, the only cheat i know of is the wheelie cheat, but i dont know how to prove it unless i ask for the replay for everyone. at the end of the day if people want to cheat, they probably will, but for the rest of us it is just a bit of fun :D

Cheat-by-wheelie down the 1000m strip is damn near impossible. Maybe a hybrid with 255 rear downforce and 0 front. Maybe.

can i tune my car up and use nitrous?
and do i really have to take a picture?(even if i use a camera phone)
im not familiar with the 300mph club rule.....but i hope i could get it right
i did quite good in 400m sprint,got a sub 9 secs with a mitsubishi evo8
ill post some shots soon.....:dunce: :dunce: :dunce:

I disagree. I actually found it very easy to pull a wheelie, sometimes even as early as the 600-700metre mark. For example, with the R89C time I posted above, the same setup will wheelie with anything less than around 45 front downforce. In the Group C and LMP cars, it's not impossible to have an exit speed of almost 300mph in the 1000m sprint, and that's more than enough to pull a wheelie.

Here's the 300mph club rules, along with some notes about their suitability for the sprint rules...

  • 1. All speeds must be proven
-1.1 All speeds must be proven by photograph of the Session Record screen showing your maximum speed in miles per hour to go onto the Leaderboard.
    - Modify to read 'time in seconds'.
-1.2 All class-record-breaking speeds (Hall of Fame records) and any speed of 350.00mph or greater must be proven by video replay, including Session Record display recorded directly before and/or after the run replay.
    - Only relevant to class records (Road/Race/No-NOS etc.).
-1.3 Video proof can be requested for any particular speed which is suspected of breaking any rule(s).
-1.4 All types of proof should be posted by you in this thread.
  • 2. At no point in your run must any of the car's wheels leave the ground. At no point in your run must your car make contact with any barrier, visible or invisible.
    - This basically outlaws wheelies. The barrier part is sort of moot in a straight line sprint.
  • 3. All speed runs must be made at the Test Course in Max Speed Test mode.
    - Modify to read '1000m Sprint mode'.
  • 4. You must not at any point in your top speed attempt travel backwards around the course.
    - Pretty irrelevant for the sprint.
  • 5. Nitrous is allowed where available.
  • 6. Whether a car is catagorised as road or racing class is usually very clear, however in some situations it is not. My decision is final when there is doubt on this.
    - Modify according to any classifications you want (eg: 4WD, FR etc.).
  • 7. No cheat systems or cheat codes are allowed.
  • 8. You may share settings in this thread if you wish, however nobody can force you to do so.
  • 9. Please act with courtesy and respect at all times

Taken from the 300mph club thread :)

Of course, you don't have to use these rules, but I do think that they make a good starting point. The choice is yours. 👍

thanks dark elite and masterstorm!

Sounds good.

The part about barriers only applies to the 300mph Club because we have to go around a corner - you guys won't, so it'll only slow you down. Feel free to swerve into the walls if you like :dopey:

Number 5 is dependant on what sort of classification you decide on - or, indeed, if you have none then it could be omitted. The set of rules for the 300mph Club are almost all revised since they were first implemented, with a careful rewording here and there, to stop possible disputes and so on. Hopefully, there won't be a lot of problems moving them over to here.

You might want to add something about the power, torque, weight and aspiration of the car used. With the 300mph Club, going full-tune is something of a given (the only variables being aspiration with some cars, and Race or Original suspension kits), but here you might well be better off without going full-bore at all the parts. Tyres, too, have a stronger bearing on what happens here.
It depends, ultimately, on how much information you want people to give about their runs - do you want a competition that's strong and secretive, or an advancement in 1000m-sprint tuning? Turns out that the 300mph Club is a bit of both - advancement resulting from competition - but it took a long time to get there. It's up to you how you run it, but I'll be keeping an eye on it anyway :)

How can I took A photo within the time, speed and those things you are requesting?

go to the test track 1000m sprint and once you have a good speed, take a photo of the session record screen :)

of course not, there are loads of people better than me, but i just wanted to make them stand out :guilty:

Is that because you are somehow better? :p

Sorry, I just don't think it's really very modest to put emphasis on all your speeds just because they're yours. Out of the 407 (correct at time of writing :dopey:) speeds on the 300mph Leaderboard, not a single one has any visible priority over the rest - we're all equal, and the speeds are all that matters.

But then, this isn't the 300mph Club, so I'll shut up. :)

Absolutely you are right:tup: good point
mt00 you don't need to do that, to prove your self.

the easiest way is to use a digital camera or camera phone and then transfer it to you pc. then upload to a site like photobucket.com or imageshack.com

Well that's all very nice.....:) Back to racin'... 👍

First work with the 'Pesc'

...little quicker...
