guys i hit this without any shortcuts. my record is 1022 mph on test course.have you broken a grand yet with the escudo?

Yeah, HYBRIDLVR is the man on this topic. If he says it, you can pretty much guarantee it's the truth. But I think we scared nitrorustler off....I wanna hear his (or her) explanation please....

He (or she) hasn't been back on the forum since this thread was opened. I also hope we're going to get some more info on this one day.
 
That seems to be a common thing lately...some newbie starts a thread and everyone jumps on it, and said newb doesn't re-appear for follow up comments. :crazy: Don't know about you guys but it drives me nutso!

Well, these "fire and forget"-threads do show me that some people don't think about how a forum works, and that there are real people on the other end of the line, probably sacrificing their spare time and putting effort into the subject.

Granted, not in this case (yet), but if you don't plan to discuss it, why open the thread in the first place? When I'm at a party, I don't ask someone a question and then just turn around and leave.
 
hey i'm back, and will get a picture up soon. i did use the wheelie trick, and just planned my route perfectly on test course. it has taken me a few years to get it, but i smashed it. the trick is to ride the wall throught the corners, pull the e-brake in the last 2/3's of the corner, and mat the throttle again. you should hit nearly 300mph on the turn, and tap the wall as you exit shaving off a little speed. then am the car to the left and let her wheelie, and keep the throttle down until the nose drops. after trying this technique, you will get the grand. you have to practice, and do it just right. pics coming soon for you non belivers.

Don't know about sites you may have visited in the past, but here we consider the wheelie trick to be a cheat, just like "breaking out of course" is a cheat so far as top speed is concerned. We thought you were talkin about driving on all 4 wheels on the track itself with no hybrid mods, and getting up to 1000 mph. Anyways, welcome back, glad you're back, alladat. :)

If I remember correctly, my wheelie-trick-test-course-Toyota-GTone-record was something like 2200 km/h, which equals 1375 mph.

We do believe you dude. But you originally started this thread saying you got over 1000 mph with "no shortcuts" and we consider the wheelie trick to be a huge shortcut. Same goes with hybriding your car. Same goes with breaking out of the track.

Nobody here is disputing you can get over 1000 mph with a wheelie, all we're saying is that by doing so, you have exploited a shortcut/cheat that results from a glitch in the game.

sorry, just thought i would post up some cool news. this is my first post in the gt3 forums. i am much haevier into gt4 these days. my viper will do 290 without a wheely. that isn't bad

Well....no nitrous in GT3. Are you saying you can get a Mini up to 250 without any tricks tho? I don't think it's possible

I think he is aying he could get it up to 200mph. It is probably possible if you upgrade the engine as much as you can and set up the gear ratios correctly.

PS: Parnelli Bone, I'm very sorry if I am confusing you by using MPH. But I am absouloutley useless at KMH. The only one I know is that 30mph is 50kmh, and that is it!

Oh I see. To convert from mph to km/h you have to multiply

MPH X 1.609= KM/H

I know at a glance that 62 mph=100 KM/H but beyond that I'm also lost!

Yeah. I cant see why England does not use KMH like everyone else instead of MPH! Hay Parnelli have you realised something. For the last hour or so, you have been virtually the only one replying to my posts on every thread!

Edit: Parnelli, check out my Alternate Intro tune thread on the GT3 fourms. I have posted a new one there and it is awesome. Just make sure you follow the instructions though. This one is harder!
