Um, you do realize that Chrysler is now partners with Fiat Spa, don't you? Fiat SPA is also partners with Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Ferrari, and Maserati. So there will most likely be some Italian influence in the new Viper. I am guessing they will be using some Ferrari or Maserati technology.

That is highly unlikely as the Viper was well into development when Fiat took over. Besides, the Viper project would have been well down the list of priorities as a low volume supercar is a halo model, not a real revenue maker, and saving Chrysler did not rely on this project.

The Viper was Chryslers 2nd most Profitable Vehical in its line up. only bested buy the Wrangler.

And people the Viper will be NOTHING like a Ferarri when it comes to performance and Dynamics, It WILL have interior Comforts of the 599 though..Like all of Chryslers Top Model offerings... Nappa Leather.

Owning controlling interest (53%) is not a partnership.

Exactly..and this is the reason we need more variety of cars in stead of the same old boring straight line high BHP breeds.

Things like the new S1 or RS3 or maybe the new Focus RS or some more Race Cars.

Like i said in my previous post.....

12 Charger SRT8
12 300 SRT8
13 Dodge Dart
13 Camaro ZL1
12 CTS-V Coupe
12 Ford Focus ST/RS
12 Buick Regal GS
12 Chevy Cruze Touring Car

That isnt a Variety from the lastest Japanese additions? Shoot give me the 160hp US Spec Fiat 500 atleast.

There all American cars..and as we know, all American cars don't do corners.

6/8 of those are just new models, so it's not a variety is it.

So far we know that the next update will be the back end of January. We know it will fix the 'Shufle Race' issue. Anybody got any ideas of what else it might include?

NO!
We have no idea

hahahahaha internet what a joke hahahahaha

I think it will add some things, but being the fact that it was seemingly pre-planned for the back half of January, I think adding all the bug fixes will push the release back some more. But I suggest we quit specualting and just be happy with what we have currently.

What are you talking about? Yes there are a Number of New Camaros on the game but the 550Hp ZL1 belongs on there. There are no current Gen Charger, CTS, a Dart of any year, Regal GS.. u know.. the American Opel? Chevy Cruze of any sort although i was talkin about the Race Spec version youll see Racing with BMW 3 Series.. (Chevy Recently won a Race over the weekend from what i saw on Speed), and no new Focus RS again the one people rave about in Europe??

and by the way...

135. Apparently. US cars. 135 US cars in the game.

Not that I checked.

EDIT: twice as many as the UK! We only got 64.

Gits.

Still 135 cars is enough to try and attempt a corner in and kill yourself lol

Hmm, I think the Corvette ZR1 or Z06 would like a word with you, as does the CTS-V. The CTS-V is well-known to be able to run with or even beat the best from Germany in a comparison test since the redesigned model debuted. Not starting an argument, just having a friendly discussion is all.:)

Not biased or anything.....*looks at avatar* oh yea lol.

But in all seriousness these 3 cars I have mentioned can more than hold their own in corners.

Okay I'll admit there's a few but majority of US manufactures just put far too much HP and don't consider anything else but I think if some of those cars take a leaf out of ours books in Europe, you produce a half decent car ;) haha only messing

Hard to deny that when cadilac chose to model the ctsv around a bmw they got a much better car... but you must also admit that massive engines and rediculous hp is also cool...

Yea, it's all good bro. The majority of the US cars do handle like tanks lol. Case in point the Mustang GT, but I have heard rumors in the future they are finally going to an IRS, so maybe that will change some things.

The cars I mentioned are just diamonds in the ruff compared to all the other horrid handling cars we produce. I have always had respect for Audi, BMW, etc when it comes to their cars in handling. We could learn a thing or two from them. Especially on interiors as well.:yuck:

Not true at all especially now. In the 60's and '70's, yes, muscle cars rolled around corners, but todays American offerings will give a solid run against many European cars. The Corvette ZO6 and ZR1, the new Camaro, and a perfect example is the 5.0 Mustang that car magazines are pitting right with the E92 M3 BMW. Dollar for dollar, theyre cheaper in price and meet many or in some cases exceed many of the more expensive European offerings. Hell my '01 Z28 Camaro with minor bolt ons, bigger wheels, and suspension upgrades runs right with an '05 E46 M3 and i have less than $10k in the car including purchase price. Try to purchase this M3 for that kind of money. So for me, American performance cars deserve their place in the game, and imo there should be some more in here that were excluded such as the CTS-V,the Shelby GT500 & '11 5.0, and the '12 ZL1 Camaro. Hopefully some dlc will come that includes these cars at some point.

All manufactures have their own little speciality, rarely some get it perfect all round, but I must admit, when driving something like a ZR1 or a challenger, the noise and straight line power is immense haha

Yea, I stand corrected on the Mustang comment now because I remember MotorTrend pitting it against an M3 and barely losing within tenths of a second around the track. Pretty impressive performance to say the least.👍

So you make a stupid statement, someone proves you wrong, and you tell them to "chill out" and call them a fan boy? Now you're just scrambling because you know you were wrong and made a fool of yourself..

Just because a car has done countless laps around the 'burg doesn't make it a great car, American cars have never been famous for its handling. It's just a fact.

And I don't care if I did make a fool of myself, it's not like I have to prove myself to anyone, at the end I the day it's just a game and that's it. End.

I never said thats why, this isn't the 1970s anymore, like it or not, American cars are being built to do more than just go fast in a straight line.. but this is a discussion for another thread..
