i for now have gone back to Forza 2 to tide me over cause i need something more for GT right now to keep me interested.

There's plenty of good events going on at the moment... Last wednesday I did the James Bond event and that was GREAT fun.... tomorrow theres a Ferrari event with a lot of good drivers. maybe worth checking out... it got me back into it again... its always great fun with good racers... 👍
anyway this is my last OFF topic post... next post will be On-topic :D

just a guess and looking at older versions i would think that the LM version would look closer to this version.

Actually, if Nissan were to build an LM version it would look nothing like that since ACO rules don't allow that type of bodywork.

from what i have heard there will be no GT1 class next year at the 24. at the Petite LeMans there were only the 2 Corvettes running GT1 and they have already announced they will be switching to GT2 next year. .

Corvette Racing won't switch to GT2 until after Les 24 Heures du Mans. So next year might truly be the last year with GT1 cars.

wow, first i thaught that picture from the gtr- race car was a picture from GT5, but now i saw it's a real picture, very nice car, almost sure this one will be in gt5 in different livery's

my issue is more with the time i am able to get on. there isn't many good drivers i have found a few but i am just getting a bit bored with the same cars/tracks. i will get tired soon of Forza and get back to my true love, GT. like the saying goes, you don't know what you have till its gone.

i guess my reply was too vauge, i was refering more to the wider stance and widebody kit in general. not that it will look exactly like it, like i said earlier "more like it" not exactly like it. sorry for the confusion.

during an interview with the president(i think) of the LeMans series he said there might not be a GT1 class next year not Corvette. whats the point of only 2 cars in a class. especially 2 of the same cars.

there is one that Xanivi (sp) that looks like all their other cars they sponsor, that will more than likely be the one in the game due to already seeing the 350Z version in their teaser vid from some time ago.

Same. As I said before, all I need is one purebred race car to pine me over for now. Hopefully the interiors are going to be very detailed, too.
 
Whats most disturbing about the pic is the box of tissues next to the 'shattered' looking guy.

Or to think of it in a positive light - He'd just finished modelling a car and was that impressed with his handy work he couldn't stop himself and had to sit back to "admire" it.

Well the first one to the right of the console is clearly Forza 2 because of the orange colour scheme on its spine. As for the other one I havent got a clue. Maybe PGR?

Give it a rest for crying out load. Fall doesnt end till December and even if the Update doesnt arrive I wont be surprised neither pissed off. Delays happen I couldnt care less at this point if we dont get any more Updates. Prologue IMO was complete a very long time ago sorry for the change of heart but im looking forward to the final GT5 now and pushing my thoughts into then rather than this Update. I hope i'm wrong but remember FALL ENDS IN DECEMBER. >.>

I hope I can download this update, the last 'update' I have tried at least 20 times to get it and still it stalls half way through the download portion. Not impressed with PSN, and no way am I going to waste hours of time downloading anything further for this game. I got the Spec II no problems at all, the rest of it is just not working :(
 
I still say the best way they could distribute the updates is through Bittorrent like on MGS4. That way you have a 99% guarantee the update wont fail
 
Very well could have been, but in any event soon we will know for sure & move on to something else to complain about.:sly:
