I dont get what some of you are trying to say, moaning to people that are waiting for further updates. Saying things like adding to GT5P will delay GT5 further, so basically some of you are happy enough to wait for a full year now with no further updates.
Prologue has many failures imo that still need fixed like the penalty system, fastest laptimes and much better stats during races. Voice chat, personal soundtracks and of course the much cried for private lobbies which may never come till the full game. Yes we cant expect everything that should be in the full game but someone please inform me how in a year of GT5P has the game improved from an online aspect or game enhancing way outside of the added cars? My point is not that much has been improved for general play mechanics.
Ideal:
Qualifing Rounds
Pit Stops
Upto 10+ laps
Increased control of PP settings
Mini Photo Mode
Replay Save Feature For Online Races
The other thing...
To the people here like myself awaiting the "damage update" they are waiting because weve been told it's coming to GT5P. Yes it is very unlikely that it will come before Christmas or even by the end of the year but weve been told it could be ready by fall.
Lets remember that as for car models, the majority of these would have been done months and months ago as would the majority of tracks. Anyone that followed the development of FM2 would of got a bit of an insight to how such games are developed from the website that they had. GT5P hasnt really developed that much within a year, yes the GT-TV system which is slow and not very interesting outside of them making extra money with its facilities but to increase a racing games enjoyment it isnt a big factor.
Kaz also has said in several interviews that the "Games Pillars" need to be in place and working eg 1080/ 16 cars / 60 FPS .
The intergration of "HOME" has to be one of these pillars. As for damage it is a major update as it has to have totally reworked physics etc but its is doubtfull it is one of the main pillars of the game
unless it's physics offer something that other racing games with damage havnt done. If anything the damage is more than likely going to be so overrated when it does appear.
Rumours also continue for "HOME" to release by approx the 20th Dec and perhaps this has to happen before the next planned update. For all we know it's maybe "HOME" thats been holding things up and we could see some form of GT5P and "HOME" interaction in the New Year. It does make sense that they would have some form of Beta testing in amalgamating GT within "HOME" tested on a world wide scale.
So, HO HO HO guys and I guess time will tell...
