Sorry if I made you warm up, I propably did not understand your thoughts right.


Last words I try to clearly say what I mean/want:

I want perfect GT5... if it's gonna take year since now, I want them give us some new features to test, so we can find bugs, and give feedback to them how it could be better.

If they are not going to give us new features to Prologue, they should release Full Version very fast, and do patches so long that it's perfect... and that very fast aint next x-mas. Late summer is too far also.
 
Well if anythings coming it's likely to arrive before the 23rd.

No doubt they will be winding down for the holidays.
Looking at Japanese Public Holidays the Emperors Birthday is on the 23rd December and holidays continue for 24th and 25th.

Also the 13th marks Prologue's 1st Birthday in Japan so my guess says anything coming is likely on the 13th - 20th, lol and thats a pretty big guess.
Id even be happy with a new trailer showing alot of new stuff.

Fall update, who gives a **** any longer, if nothing arrives before Jan 1, GT5P is going on ebay, I'll pick up a 360 for Race Pro and Forza 2/3.

I'd even pay £10 for a decent update pack with a new track or two.

If nothing arrives, Sony has lost another gaming customer for the PS3, it will just be used for Blu-ray.

The lack of news and communication shows a lack of regard for a loyal fanbase.

you played 15 quid for this game and you expect more? we have already had about 5 updates and you still want more?
 
I paid £400 for a PS3 for GT5, almost 3 years ago, another £20 for a glorified demo 1 year ago, and another £5 on downloaded videos, oh, and a new wheel!

Enough is enough, Sony and PD are taking the piss, I will take my business to the 360 and Race Pro which looks like it will blow GT5 out of the water AND be here, what, 1, 2, 3 years earlier?

I wouldn't mind waiting if we had a timeline and/or feature set to look forward too, the only guarantees are endless delays, missing, crucial, features, and being taken for granted.

GT5 could be a crushing financial disaster for Sony/PD if they don't get it to market quick.

Maybe I'm being too demanding after paying out north of £500, I'd like to give them even more money to play GT5.

Playing games must be a strange concept to PD!

I'm pretty sure there will be no more updates this year. We all know KY is a liar. ;)

Same here mate. :) I'm always expecting the worst (no updates in 2008) until there's something really comes into sight.. in order not to get my hopes up and then be disappointed. ;)
 
I got a real concern that all the people like me who spent 400. bucks on a PS3,another 160 for DFGT wheel. That all this stuff will be broken BEFORE the full release,with economy like it is a lot of folks may not be able to replace the hardware.

You do know that GT5 is not the only on the PS3 right?
 
I wonder if the release of Home tomorrow would have any effects on the private room parts of GT5:P
 
i have hopes now, knowing that Home is around corner. This is the first time that i think we may be receiving update.

I have spend 1635€ on tv, ps3, and g25, and yet i have never open a thread demanding update or things like that and I a from Croatia where average salary is 550€, which means i have spend 3 average salaries just to enjoy GT5P with or without updates, and i have never re grated it. There are also other games that i enjoy and play while I wait for gt5.
 
The only things I need to play to keep playing GT5 till the full release are, private lobbies and Nurburgring. I think it is not a lot.
 
With Home coming tomorrow, I'd kind of expect a news item already in GT5P about an update if there was going to be one in parallel with Home. :nervous:
 
The Ring will not be on GT5:P, no matter how bad people want it.
There are so many other games on the PS3, that I have no time for GT5:P anymore.
The faster everybody stops whinging about updates, the quicker GT5 will come.
 
i agree PD about not putting in ring in gt5p, it must be only in gt5 release...

i think that it will be damage in update, like they promise time ago... it could be also a test from users for the gt5 release, and i hope so...

Fingers crossed, something will come, just when is the question and those GT5 Booths werent created for nothing.

Like others i dont agree with alot of the moaning and requests for the unreasonable.
I do however feel P Digital should look at how Turn 10 ran their community website and particulary the "PIT PASS REPORT" That is still ongoing to this day.

For a company the size it is and for a franchise that pulls in so many sales you would think the game developers and Sony would try at least to increase the amount of screenshots/info regarding the games progress. To that extent they are very poor even compared to FM2 website and how it was handled but then again perhaps they like to keep us eager and already they know millions will still purchase their products regardless.

Perhaps in such times as these were we are more impatient and it's easy to understand some express their frustration more than others.
Still for every week that passes we are a week closer to the full games release. 👍

-I hate violence and killing.
-I hate adventure-games.
-I see no point in LBPlanet.
-I hate arcade-racing games.
-I tested Dirt, and Ferrari Challenge, did not like them.



...are you sure stopping whinging about updates pushes PD to work harder? I could imagine that other way, if they do any forum spying.

The GT fan who doesn't want to have ring right now must be totally crazy! :)

For me, the ring is major part of GT. If there wasn't ring in GT4, the game would probably bore me to degree, where I wouldn't wait for GT5 and maybe no PS3 at all.
 
Guys stop saying about the ring because there is no point. KY said that nurburgring will be on the final product GT5 only. Stop asking for things that you know you are not going to get. As far as the private rooms now I believe that are coming pretty soon and that also the next update will be very very soon ( I believe and hope before the end of the year or even before the 25th of December). From KY's interviews the next thing is damage but because we are bored of the current tracks I believe he may give as an extra track to race. Also, what I am really looking forward to is weather (condition and time).

if they give us daytime and weather, i can stay with this track also...
but this kind of news will be added in the final version of the game for me..
without this news, gt5 would be the same like gt4.. so.. in gt5 there will be 3 mainly news 1 weather 2 damage 3 personalize interior a/o exterior of cars
