Wow amazing race the drama adn the breakdown of the prius. I want a nice dog fight between the BMW vs the Ferrari

The Hybrid had Engine Problems said one of the drivers (Marco Holzer)
 
Ahhh NOOOOOO, twice I've gone away from the race and twice the Mantheys have died! I'm off to cry again, no amount of e-tissues are going to cheer me up I'm afraid.

Still gotta give Porsche props for bringing out a brand new race car to the Nurburgring and it having lasted as long as it did.

Well it is hard to say how many cars are "really" out of the race.
There will be a lot of cars coming out for the last lap of the race to "finish" the Race.

RUMOURS: BMW has to change the Gearbox from the #25...
 
rumor : the leading BMW may need a gearbox change...
 
I hope they can fix the Prius and get it out for a top 10 finish.

I think they will try everything to put the Hybrid back into the Race.

EDIT:

The Livetiming DOESN`T show the "real" driver that is driving right now.
I just saw Jürgen Alzen walking in the Pits and the timing says that he is driving...

Hard to say as the organisers don't give a retirement list during the race and many people re-join, but I know these few are out.

#98 R8 LMS
The only starting Lotus Exige
Merc 190 Evo 2
Opel Manta
Both Vipers
One of the Mini's
 
Aw man, I've got to go to my mothers for my Sunday dinner. There's so much happening in the race I don't want to stop watching.

The Macbook is coming with me & it'll only take me about 20 mins to get there so fingers crossed I don't miss too much.

I'd like to see the Prius coming back out to finish the race

I've just heard that on RLM, that's a bit of a gutter.

Can I start supporting the Ferrari now?
 
Uwe Alzen will drive the last turn with the #25.
And they have noises in the gearbox...
They are trying to drive "carefully"
 
Just got up....looks like all hell has broken loose....where have all the Audis gone?
....and my RLM feed is down (says please wait) :-(.
 
The Lead car is definitely having gearbox problems, BMW just did a press release saying the car is unable to engage some gears, I don't know how serious the problem is though.
 
So far it doesn't show in laptimes
 
they have the replacement gearbox in the pits already...
