Is the Ferrari in 1st or is the BMW trying to lap it?

Edit: Hybrid back out in 10th place.
 
The M3 is 1st and is hanging back from the Ferrari to prevent an accident.
 
Major smoke coming from the M3's boot. Looks like it's been sorted out as the car has been sent back out.

Edit: Team NFS in 3rd.

The Ferrari is only 1lap down, if that gearbox doesn't play ball the BMW could easily lose that margin

But the Ferrari is not driving FULL attack. The last lap times they were even slower than the slowly driven BMW...

If nothing happens the first 2 places are FIXED

EDIT: Only 25 minutes to go...

EDIT: it seems the Ferrari drove 2 minutes faster last lap...
 
Looks like the weather forecasts were wrong. No rain or severe fog.👍
Gap between 1st and 2nd is about 7 minutes.

I know what you mean, the Ferrari looks like it has backed off to bring the car home. I wonder how aware he is of the BMW problems, the gap is less than 7 minutes now with the BMW lap times at around 10 minutes a pop. If the Ferrari pushed it could very possibly close that gap.

EDIT: Kaz is 61st & 4th in class
 
Can anyone confirm if the Prius is back out in the top 10? I'm sorry for being such a pain in the ass.

I may as well say congrats to BMW, seems everyone is backing up and getting set for formation finishes now.

15th according to the Live Ranking, not sure if it's on track though.
 
Unfortunately it is not SweetShop, it has never been seen on track again since it's sad exit on the back of that flat bed :(

It's cool. Looks like it's moved back to 13th actually.

Edit: 8 minutes to go, looks like this may be the final lap.

+1000! I don't mind so much what happens in the race when we get such a brilliant thread like this, it's been another great year. Can't wait for the next now.
 
I've really enjoyed this event, it's been made a whole lot better having the company of so many friends to discuss things with.
