So it seems like if he wins the Singapore GP, he will be crowned the World Champion... By then even if Button wins every single race afterwards, he will still not be able to beat Vettel...

Great race, Vettel proved it... He's just too fantastic out there. The first corner incident was unfortunate especially Rosberg who I thought had a chance for some good points. Schumacher fights were great too!

His pass on Alonso was incredible...

Do you have any idea how tough/brave that was?

Indeed it was but when your car is that much faster than your opponent you can pretty much pass at any moment and get away with it. He got on the grass and he was still going faster!
I mean look how much Vettel won by. And you can't tell me that is because of a gap in driver skill because these guys are all way too damn good.

I wouldn't mind Vettel winning as much if their national anthems didn't go for so long

Vettel has gotten as much respect from me as I can possibly give, especially this season. Now, we need to work on everyone else actually, I don't know, competing.

Yeah I always get my remote after the race finishes ready to mute vettel's screaming, it's good they don't show much of his race anymore. 👍

This. It's pretty nice when McLaren win; the British national anthem is, what, not even 30 seconds? :p

It would be shorter if James May was in charge.

If LH gets a clean first couple of laps, I can see him challenging for the win, dark horse could be Button. I would be very surprised if a Ferrari isnt on the podium.

But I expect Vettel to win.

Should have put a bet on!

Maybe the UK teams need to hire an American to win this war against Germany.

:sly:

So far only three best overtake this year, imo.

-Spa = Webber's Eau Rouge.
-Italy = Vettel highspeed-outside lane-grass pass. :D
-Monaco = Tight first corner pass by Hamilton on Schumi.

I had Schumi for the win.

Now just awaiting news of Luizzi getting a 1 race ban.

Great drive by Alguersuari. 18th to 7th, best of the rest 👍

He can theoretically clinch the title in Singapore but it's not likely. To become WC again, Vettel needs to win and all three of Button, Alonso and Webber need to finish off the podium. He will likely clinch in Japan.

Man, that race, apart from a couple of battles, was extremely boring, the European Grand Prix got more of my attention.

I cannot believe I'm still having to have the 'Vettel cannot overtake or race wheel to wheel' argument.

Great pass by Vettel, enjoyed Schumi trolling Hamilton, love the crowd chanting "No more Sky!"

He's clinched it already. 💡

Why? He just got a tank-slapper, no more.

Why? Simple. Get him out, and put someone more deserving in.

He didn't do anything at Force India, and he's not doing anything at HRT; he's only ahead of Riccardo because he (Liuzzi) has more experience.

Slight miscalculation, Vettel needs to win, Alonso off the podium, and Webber/Button not in second place.

So if the podium is Vettel-Hamilton-Webber/Button, he will win the title. Not out of the question.

Vettel should take a late season break, come back refreshed for next season. He has enough points to take the title. Let someone else win!

All i can say is he's the one with the most experience in 2009-2011 f1 spec car plus the one who's only interest driving the slow HRT team. We have De la Rosa but he's not interest driving that uncertain team.

Welcome to the crap part of F1. :p

Exactly. What the hell was he doing back there? It was a very stupid move.

I'm not really referring to the incident itself, I'm mostly referring to him alone. Period.

Of course veering off and costing two other people point finishes doesn't help.

Being a race driver and trying to overtake?

(referring to Demon Drone comment about the first lap accident)

Lewis being interviewed and trying not to fall in to the pot kettle black trap!

Liuzzi went on too fast to overtake someone, touch the grass and loses it... I'm not impressed with his performance so far even last year when he's in Force India.

During the press conference, the questionarie? Said that Vettel only needs a podium to be crowned a World Champion...

Pretty much everyone on Twitter is flaming the BBC saying Vettel still cannot race wheel to wheel, opinions?

But it needs to be done with some sort of brain power. It was a bonehead move and couple it with the rest of his performance this year he clearly doesn't deserve that seat.
