2011 Malaysian Grand Prix

Yea if it doesn't rain, with every passing lap Vettel's odds of winning increase.

Brilliant start by the Renaults.

Webber is again not looking good.

It's already rain here 20km away..
Expected to hit the circuit in an hour or so. :D

Vettel has already won

No he hasn't.

If it rains, the tire you choose can make it or break it.

Do you go to inters or wets, when do you change after it stops raining?

I had some questions about the new DRS system:

- Who has it?
- How effective is it?
- Like KERS, does it carry a significant weight with it, or is it a pure performance gain?

Incredible start by both Renaults. Too bad Petrov is dropping already back very fast :indiff:

Oh, and Mr. Webber, just give your seat to Mr. Kobayashi next year. kthxbye.

Everyone has it.

It is quite effective.

Not terribly heavy.

Great job, Nick.

1. Everyone.
2. Very. Kobayashi's move on Webber looked easy.
3. Pure performance gain.

KERS on Webber's car isn't working.

1: I think all of the drivers have it.
2: By lowering drag, you lower air resistance thus making that car go upto 10mph faster
3: The added weight will be very low, just a few hydrolics or an electric switch to lower the middle flap of the wing.

But i'm not 100% of this.

Fantastic start for the Renaults, that was just superb. Kob just flew by Mark too.

Man, Webber is looking really scrubby in the races this season. I'm a bit worried about our Constructors Championship chances right now.

I have to agree with Bram, I now want to see Kobie in a Red Bull seat next year. :D

And the Renaults,. Is akmuq watching?

Just 8 lap...
Look at those marble across the track.

:guilty:

His KERS isn't working, apparently. I don't know...something just isn't sitting too well with me; in Melbourne there were differences between his and Vettel's car (so I've heard) and now the tides are going in the same direction. Either he doesn't have what he did last year, or there's some foul play going on in the background.

+1... Kobi + funding = instant success. Plus the battles between him and Vettel would be epic.

Wow, as soon as Webber comes in for soft's, it starts raining.

Rain seen on the driver cam lens.

I highly doubt KERS not working is the source of him being in 10th place behind a Sauber. For someone almost grabbing the WDC last year, this is quite a remarkable drop in performance. I just hope for him it's the car, but at the meantime his teammate is half a track clear in front of him.

EDIT: Rain! Halleluja!

Mass rain have just arrive! :D

Vettle in pits and went for softs.

Commentators have confirmed that KERS is not working on Webber's car.

So Webber's KERS isn't working? Interesting, b/c he just posted a fastest lap.

KERS does not equal fastest lap.

He went in pits and went for a new set of softs.

3 abreast on the final turn!
And what just happened to Trulli?
