Kyle Busch should be banned from NASCAR, period. Apparently if he's been crashed a few races in a row he's going to take somebody out at 130mph, and simply say, "sorry it had to be so and so". I can't believe the arrogance of this clown. No place for trash like him in racing.

Sorry, yeah, I forgot in depth discussion was outlawed in a discussion forum.

I'll stop now.

It's not outlawed, posting an entire discussion that didn't happen here is nothing but spam though.

You also must be new to the Motorsports world if you think sponsors determining things is new, or exclusive to NASCAR.

I agree, hopefully they will announce that he out for the final 2 weeks at least(NASCAR announces any penalties/fines on Tuesdays). Even M&M/Mars released a statement saying they aren't a fan of his actions.

I see you have brought my discussion I had with you from another thread into this forum, a forum with anger and outrage with what has transpired with KB, in an attempt to flame me even more just because I am a KB fan. Pretty low blow bro. And you call KB immature. Anyway, while I'm here, I'll put it on the table. Yes, I'm a Kyle Bush fan and always will be. No, I don't approve of his actions and am quite disappointed in him. But I'm not going to stop being a fan of his just because he has some maturing to do. He is a great talent and fun to watch. (when of course, he is not causing trouble) I have lost some respect for him tho. I can only hope he learns a final lesson from this, otherwise yes, he probably needs to go for good. So, thats my feelings on the matter from a fans point of view. Now, if you wish to flame me just because I'm a fan of his, then you are just as immature as he is. Thanks.

He moved the discussion because it wasn't the place to discuss it.

So, if you have your way, only about half the drivers would be racing because, like I said before, he is not the first person to retaliate. Although it was dangerous, I've seen lot more dangerous acts. Not everyone can be like gentleman Jimmie Johnson. And even he has had his moments.

I'm not very familiar with NASCAR so I don't know if things like retalition happens there often. I do know that it's stupid to do and very dangerous. Like I said motorsports are dangerous enough already without crazy actions like this. I don't think half of the drivers would have to be banned because I don't think half of the drivers are stupid enough to do something like that. And if they are they need to be banned from motorsports because there is no reason to endanger someone's life because you are mad.

It does, but it's usually touring car style bumps and nudges, not what Kyle did. Of course a post race fight has been known to break out following a short track race.

And Brad didn't even touch car at the start, just got close and Carl got loose.

As Lee rightly said, it was off topic where this started (not by me) but seemed like an interesting discussion point for a NASCAR thread. If I read the title correctlt that is what this is?

You also must be new to the Motorsports world if you think sponsors determining things is new, or exclusive to NASCAR.

None of my posts allude to the fact that this is new or exclusive to NASCAR but draw from them what you will.

Err, given I put a note in the other thread, and sent you a polite PM to explain that it was off topic in the other thread I think that is somewhat uneeded rant.

At no point have a flamed you or made any personal remarks. Again though, draw from my posts whatever you will. That is your right and your prerogative. :)

@All: It is fairly obvious that this discussion is unwelcome. I shall withdraw, take it easy all and enjoy the rest of your weekend. 👍

No, he moved it here knowing full well what would happen. (lets put a KB fan in the middle of a heated discussion about said driver and see what happens) He knew what he was doing.

Well, I'll be damned. I didn't know it was possible to win four races in the Chase, and I really didn't know that Stewart was good enough this year to even approach the feat. I'll continue the refrain that Edwards should be somewhat favored because he's nearly invincible at Homestead and surely can't be expected to be worse than Stewart at the new Phoenix - but the Chase is something close to a tossup now.

Remember, Edwards had the best car at Phoenix in the spring, before contact with Kyle Busch ended his race early. Edwards also swept the last two races to end last season, Phoenix and Homestead.

Yes but they repaved Phoenix so it's more of a toss-up now.

Well its official: The title is now truly a two-man race. And best of all (For you naysayers that I still laugh at), Jimmie is NOT going to win title #6.

For the record, the naysaying was deliberate. Anyone I pick always loses. :sly:

In that line of thinking, Stewart has this in the bag. He's won four races and has all the momentum. Game over, man! Game over!

I was reffering to the fact that people repeatidly went "Oh Jimmie finished here. Great, he's gonna win the title "

Basically, people kept giving it to him and it was hardly halfway or wasn't even towards the end and again, its funny because they don't want it to happen yet they were repeatidly the first people who were ready to give it to him whenever he finished well and after their driver had a bad day.

Edit: They just showed the communication between Carl and Matt.

Matt: "Just so you know, its better out front"
Carl: "Yeah, I'm gonna go check that out"

Even at 33pts. behind and given his record on "unknown" either brand new or revamped tacks, Happy's taking Phoenix.

It's between Stewart and Edwards now.

I honestly, in my opinion I prefer Edwards. I just never really was a fan of Smoke. Even crossed the line at one point when he nearly took out (and even ruined the chances of) Jeff Gordon.

Edwards does wreck Keselowski alot, but he seems more mature than Kyle Busch. Why NASCAR Raceday compared him to Kyle Busch I don't know. Edwards taking out Keselowski as revenge for Talladega a couple seasons ago when Keselowski wasn't competing for the cup (or at least, he didn't make it) is far less comparable to Kyle Busch ruining Hornaday's chances for a championship in the Trucks. Busch wasn't even competing for the Trucks, so why did he wreck Ron? Busch is definitely immature, and I even had hope he would grow up.

NASCAR said they had to draw the line somewhere. And crashing into someone under yellows seams to be it.

Everyone appears ok with it when it's "racing" (what Edwards did that time, deliberately coming out of the pits juts to wreck Kz, and what the 83 did the previous race), and I just don't think it is... racing.

Good to see Tony Stewart taking another one and being so strong. I would never bet on him for the Championship and look at him now!

Hopefully Edwards does it, Jimmie's too far back.

It would be nice if an owner/driver won as well, doesn't happen to often in motorsport nowadays.

I want to see Smoke pull off an Alan Kulwicki style owner-driver championship. He has the momentum at the moment, and he ran the fastest at the test session at the revamped Phoenix.

I do think if Edwards can pull off a win in the final 2 races he will probably win the championship.

Either would be fine with me, and a welcome change from JJ.

Also, I think if Edwards can win the championship with only 1 win, (no wins in the chase) expect another extensive revamp of the point system. Just like Nascar did creating the chase after Kenseth won a championship with 1 win, beating multiple winners.

Okay, GTPlanet. For the first time ever, I saw the Kyle Busch hit on Ron Hornaday Jr. at Texas while I was watching ESPN's "Pardon the Interruption." That wreck by Rowdy would equate to a Flagrant-2 foul in the NBA. His bank balance is now $50K USD light because of the hit. I don't mind bad boys in racing- I love Paul Tracy and respect Tony Stewart. But, come on now. Use your head and keep your cool, Rowdy!

A poll on SPEED Center's Facebook fan page unanimously voted that Kyle Busch should be parked for the season. That was dumb by Rowdy.

I've been rooting for Edwards all year long, but it's good to see Stewart giving him a proper run for it.
