How come everyone is saying he was fired, but the article on NASCAR.com says they "agreed to part ways".

Because it seems like it was Penske's decision and just said it was mutual to let Busch save what little face he had left. If it was truly mutual Busch would already have a new ride lined up.

Awww man he got fired. It's too bad because I like Penske and Kurt is a fairly good driver, let's be honest, but it is sad that his temper ruined him. I will support whoever Roger Penske signs, and I hope he never fires BK.

Actually, I could see him and his bro out of work together soon if they keep it up. They could start their own team and you're only hired if you have a bad temper and complain a lot.

So that would consist of them really. Maybe Carl Edwards and then they can become the AKAHR (Anti-Keselowski & Anti-Harvick Racing).

I'm not surprised by this, when you through your crayola crayons all over the car on raceday and everyone can here it, weekend after weekend. Any boss/team will get tired of it and say enough, and one season was enough, especially after having your other driver (Brad) get injured and come back alot of race and thus at the last minute gaining his way into the chase and also beating his team mate that was a dead lock in the chase to begin with. Looking at it from the outside going into next season, one could say that they're not losing a thing and even if they kept Kurt, Brad would still have the upper hand.

Pretty sure the Keseloski hate club is dead guys (Given the lack of run-ins this season in comparison with the previous two), no need to start it back up again.

Apparently, Pheonix Racing and TRG are interested in Kurt. Hope James finch can take Random, uncalled for criticism and I'm pretty sure after the arguing that took place with Andy Lally, that last thing Kevin Buckler needs is more bickering.

Also, Red Bull Racing is shutting down.

I think as long as Kurt knows he isn't likely to be challenging for wins he could be great help for either team as both have some performance issues. Perhaps he could work out a deal like HAAS/CNC did with Stewart and have a part ownership type relationship.

I guess that's something we'll have to see. Would depend on how much couseling that Sports Phycholigist he's seeing helps him. I can only hope it ends up producing a positive result. Sure did help Tony quite alot.

Apparently Busch might be in the 43 car next year.

Hopefully Allmendinger can find a ride, I know the article suggests that he could go to Penske, but it sounds like Ragan is the favorite and I'm not sure Shell would want a driver that was sponsored by Valvoline during the past few seasons.

As for Busch, would be nice to see the 43 running up front again and who knows, maybe The King can straighten him up a bit.

Gresham will be Hornaday's teammate in the Truck series. Glad KBM didn't get him, he's a hell of a driver.

And I'd be pissed if Allmendinger loses that ride. He just keeps getting better.

Allmendinger will be in the 22 next season

Kurt busch will be in the 51 for Phoenix racing for a one year deal

Good for the 'dinger. I think he'll finally get a win next season. I do find it a bit ironic considering the 22 pretty much ran over the 43 at Watkins Glen.

As for Busch, talk about a huge step down. Other than Daytona and Talladega, I foresee a ton of #%&$! over the 51's radio.

That still leaves Ragan out there and he'll likely go to the 43. Then again, RPM lost Best Buy as a sponsor so there's the outside possibility of them going down to one car and keeping Ambrose as their driver.

NASCAR is a joke. I can see NASCAR coming to a very tragic end. And it'll be just cars everywhere, and medical personnel trying to get to the wounded and dead, and a fight breaking out amongst the other drivers that crashed. Maybe Kyle Busch or someone will just be furious and start throwing punches and someone will just go, "You know what, NASCAR, you don't even care what happens to the drivers anymore, so you shouldn't be allowed to continue." And they shouldn't. As soon as NASCAR decided to "let boys be boys" they shouldn't just sold the rights to the sport to someone who did care. Those shouldn't be boys in those cars, guys, it should be men who know that they're on a real race track flying at 210mph.

I think, for purposely crashing Hornaday and for his just constant bad behavior, Busch should be at least benched for the 2011 season. Give him some time to cool off....lots of time. Yeah, a 200+mph race is NOT the place for road rage. That...will get you killed in a hurry....or someone else? (And what if Buch had killed Hornaday? Or seriously injured him? What would NASCAR have done then? My guess...probably exactly what they did. Nothing would have changed..."Oh, your stupidity got someone killed? Well, don't do it again. Now, go on, you little rascal."

And I understand that Tony Stewart and other drivers have done similar things, and, yes, I do believe they should have received harsher punishments....but...no one cares anymore. I'm sorry, but I don't find drivers slamming each other into the wall at 200mph is entertainment. That's just stupid and dangerous. I feel sorry for people like Montoya, Danica and Ambrose who foolishly left good sports for careers in NASCAR.

There is a very good reason why NASCAR drivers aren't invited to IROC anymore.

Everyone has their stupid moments. Also IROC stopped years ago...

If Busch had killed Hornaday then NASCAR might have had even more problems. For starters, Kyle would have permanently been banned from NASCAR for good and there's no chance that wouldn't have happened. There's a good reason why NASCAR drivers aren't in IROC and that's because IROC doesn't exist.

I'll almost guarantee you that you'd be completely wrong there. Chances are pretty good he would have been banned from the sport for life. If you would have actually been keeping track of the sport over the last couple years, you would known that NASCAR has banned at least two? people from the sport over drug related issues, which is nothing compared to killing someone...
