At least you're getting FP coverage. All we get here is... qualifying, racing and an hour special before either. Finis.

I assume you have Star Sports, I hate it to. But then again, it's better then the live updates on F1.com.
 
I dont know, its different because we got used to exceptionally good coverage for free (sort of), now we were told we would get even better coverage with Sky, but it costs a lot of money so it should be.

The pre-show sofar for this qualifying has been... well its too broken up with adverts for me to form an opinion, but lets just say I can't see how they could possibly call it superior to the BBC's production the last 3 years.

I dont want to make it a discussion about this, So i'l end it there and just say I'm so far very disapointed with this, coming from the point of view of the coverage the UK had last year.


On the mercedes thing, I hope the protest gets thrown out also, quite silly really.

Oh god why do I do this to myself? 3 hours sleep. Also the 'gold' on that lotus is basically beige. Which ruins the livery once you see it.
 
It looks a bit golder than last year, at some point they switched from dark gold to solid cream, now it's a bit sparkly and slightly darker.

DC is definitely doing this session, but I dont know who is hosting it with him.
 
And of course, stupid TSN blacks out the Speed feed.

I think I will do something nice, if you submit who you think the podium will be at the Australian GP before Q3 I will draw you an 18"x24" picture of the winner. The rules are this though, you must guess the top three and also gap between them. The closest person will win. I will try to open a full competition for next weeks race.

Anyone else watching the Sky feed or whatever The TSN cheapskates are simulcasting not getting the audio from the track? I'm only getting the booth audio.

Looks to be struggling with grip.

Karthikayan is shamefully slow and inadequate. I would not be sad to see HRT vanish off the grid, they really add nothing.

Massa is also looking decidedly average...
 
So it seems Vettel is now changing his helmet every session.
It's looking really close. This is awesome.
 
Ah so this is what its like to be a Massa fan. I forgot over these past few weeks. Out in Q1 it is.
 
Disappointing, Kimi. Dumb mistake. But... the car is fast, so there's a chance he could make up a bunch of places tomorrow.

RE: STAR: The lack of coverage sucks, but at least the announcers are a good crew.
