The 🤬 podium 🤬 interview was as much 🤬 carnage as the 🤬 race!

Guys, what is with the language? Is Alonso going to swear now?

and Vettel 1 up's Raikkonen's swearing on the podium!

To those saying 'great drive from Vettel'... are you serious?

He damaged his front wing twice, and only multiple safety cars and having the 2nd fastest car on the grid put him anywhere near the front.

You got to see it for what it really was... luck.

Edit; did Kimi just say s*** on live world wide TV?

That's our Kimi.

Yes, lots of luck, but it was Vettel's pass on Senna that really caused most of his issues. Like I said... he got gifted several places, but he had to make up many of the rest on his own.

Don't you usually get a year in a cell for swearing in UAE?

Oh, just stop.

Yes, he had some luck, but let's not get ridiculous here, he still put in an excellent drive to make up so many places. Who would've predicted him still getting 3rd from 24th?

LOL @ Speed for delaying the interviews and missing the edit by a second on the F-bomb :dunce:

From the BBC website just now:

Lotus driver Kimi Raikkonen, who took victory: "Last time you guys were giving me grief because I didn't smile enough but I'm happy for the team."

Spot the deliberate mistake...

It was a very good drive, just not a legendary one.

Does anyone else think the next F1Slate article will be amazing?

They will most likely get a small fine for the language, I'm sure the BBC will get a fair few complaints for that.

Kimi radio talk  "yeah yeah yeah, leave me alone!"

Jealous much?

Doesn't particularly bother me who wins - I'm not an F1 fanatic.

The entire Red Bull team performance today was comedy from start to finish.

Spectacularly good driving from all three podium finishers. Vettel did get lucky but he also drove a very good race, especially after the first few laps. Judging from how they gulped down the rosewater on the podium they had all given it everything.

Bad luck obviously for Hamilton who would have won this one easily.

Well that's bull:censored:

Except for the psychics they call "race strategists."

LOL, they just used a F1 pic from GT5 Prologue in order to display Alonsos car. RTL went full retard.

Missed Kimi swearing. :grumpy:
Caught Vettel though.

Great drive from Kimi, Seb and Kamui.

And that fantastic race just summed up the season in one go.

We had Hamilton absolutely flying, but car/team reliability hampering him..
We have Kimi slowly getting better and the Lotus finally achieving what it should have at the start of the season.
We have Alonso making the most of a situation and pushing a 6th place car to 2nd, with an amazing drive.
And we have Vettel, being very lucky but driving very well none the less.

It really sums up the whole season.

They will get complaints, but there's nothing they could do (barring tape delaying). It was broadcast loud and clear on "Fuji next" too.

Someone needs to make a Good Luck Vettel meme caption from this race...

I predicted 7th. Remove the three guys who retired that I expected him to have trouble overtaking (okay, so he wouldn't have had trouble with Webber, but still), and that puts him at fourth. Then you have that opportune safety car that put Button within striking distance...

You mean bullgrief?

Well only if the beeb put words in my mouth..

The caption contest picture for this race MUST feature at least Kimi or Vettel, if not both. I will be disappoint if the chance is passed up.

Which three guys are you talking about? He was already ahead of Grosjean, Webber and Perez when they had their accidents. Sure, Webber screwed up his own race prior to that and made a mess of Massa's and to a lesser extent, Maldonado's, but that's all I can think of atm.
