I've just seen an image of the nosecone Ferrari will use in India. There's no changes, it's exactly the same as it has been the whole season. However they've made some rather dramatic modifications to the engine cover...

What's the difference? Looks the same to me.

The changes are to the underside. They've added a few fins underneath to improve the airflow.

Sure. Everything in-race will be amplified to oblivion.

The engineer in charge will "disappear", driver threatened not to fail again or he won't race in any other team, riots, f1 will be called evil by the press, the 100th bernie trial, regulation changes to make cars slower (and sound like tractors), prost's team comes back out of nowhere and wins the next season.

I know it's different than the cover they started the season with. But it looks the same as the one they've been using for a while now. Unless I'm missing something.

It does. Especially when the wheels temporarily make you forget the platypus nose.
 
I always disagreed with people saying it was the ugliest Ferrari ever. If that is true however then Ferrari should be damn proud that such a good looking car is their "worst".
 
There seemed to be quite a few people driving with four wheels off the track watching briefly the second practice session, will be interesting in qualifying if they keep at least three wheels on the track, otherwise might risk some penalty.

They were all going wide last year, there are a few tricky and unusual corners which catch some of the drivers out. I don't like how the entry speeds to a lot of the corners on this track are often faster than the exit, some of the corners remind me of Silverstone. The second to last corner is my favourite in India.
 
The F2012's nose looks like some boxy lego shape from Minecraft... Awkward, and ugly IMO.

Apart from that the rest of the car looks pretty. The livery's great, with the sidepods looking good too.

No, you're missing nothing. I am the one who is missing something. For instance the fact that the engine cover hasn't changed at all, it's just the angle that makes it look different in that photograph. I've really got to start being more observant and stop making such an arse of myself! :lol:​

If that's what Domenicali said, then there's a problem, but remember that sometimes people speak in a language, it get translated and we lost 50% of what the people originaly wanted to say. My guess is that if it's not policital it's more a tribute to the two people killed.

To speak about the GP, it seems it's gonna be Red Bull again, they seems to have make a big step forward since Japan (Mclaren seems as fast in Singapour) when the other just all sinked, specialy Mclaren. Ferrari is the 2nd team at the moment I think. Then Lotus then Mclaren.

I just dont get how Mclaren went from fastest in Singapour to slowest of the top team after it.
 
This is interesting, I hope it's not true because I want to see Lewis win at least one more race for Mclaren before he leaves. Regarding the flag on the Ferrari, they shouldn't have put anything on their cars. Who knows? the 2 sailors may have been shot dead by the Italian navy for no reason and they are brandishing that flag on their cars.

Very stupid move by Ferrari. If di Montezemolo wants to use the team for his own political agenda, then someone at Ferrari or Fiat should kick him out soon. Pity Enzo isn't around anymore.

Petrov beats Kova again, who beaches it in the only gravel trap on the circuit. :lol:

I predicted it before the Korean race. After the Japanese and Singapore race, all i thought was, "here we go again"
How is this Red bull always managing to find the speed/grip

My motivation to see F1 for the last decades, was not really to see who will battle it out to come home in third or fourth place...
 
Hopefully if Hamilton isn't testing the 2013 Mclaren parts and he gets a good lap together he can get on the front row.
