Clearly it is ICEYOU's nap time... OR better yet he doesn't know who Trickle was or ever saw him race and he is going to claim he was a big fan.

Sorry to see The Man go. Hopefully, he's happier now. As I get older, it's nice to have been inspired by a then-49-year-old Rookie of the Year...something we're not likely to see again in the world of sports.

I know I've said it before, but his "smoke break" is one of my favorite NASCAR memories from the past, and I don't smoke. I remember watching that live, and having quite a chuckle!

Hey may not be feeling any pain anymore, but his friends and family sure are...suicide is never the answer

Does anyone know if he was suffering from some difficult disease, like a cancer? I'd probably commit suicide too if I had a painful one that couldn't be healed.

He had been dealing with some sort of disease/illness for a while.

Qualifying is franking cool!

That was awesome, cars just slamming down off the banking and flying down pit road. Didn't go anywhere near as wrong as people were making it out to be, just phenomenal 👍

I really hope they do that for All-Star race every year.

Albeit late, I just want to offer my deepest thoughts and prayers in loving memory of Dick Trickle and all whom have known and loved him. Deeply tragic loss for racing, let alone NASCAR.

Love how its totally bad that its Kyle doing it yet nobody had a problem with Harvick doing it.

Everybody already knows my opinion on Cup guys running in the lower-tier series for the sole purpose of ego-boosting, which is the last thing Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, and the other drivers who run need. 👎 :grumpy: But what's the point of us fans complaining if they're too stupid/ignorant to take our opinion seriously?

But Harvick doesn't flat-out dominate the Nationwide and Truck circuits, now does he?

Kyle has 5 wins in 8 starts in the Nationwide Series this year alone. Harvick's last 5 Nationwide wins were from 2011 and 2012 combined.

He's not now but he is just as guilty of doing it for a while as Kyle is doing it now. Remember, he ran multiple full seasons in Nationwide long after he was a rookie and even took a title in the process. And lets not forget his Truck team, KHI, which basically did the exact same thing. If it wasn't Hornaday at times, it was Harvick most of the time.

You missed my point. Kevin Harvick did the exact same thing. He doesn't have nearly the win column Kyle has, but he did it himself as well and again, did it while full time for multiple seasons in Nationwide and a huge chunk of the Truck Series schedule.

Somebody will be stacking mad paper after tonight. Best of luck to all participants in tonight's All-Star Race.

James Beuschers logic yesterday wasn't very good. How did he not see Sauter get squeezed out of that 3 wide spot and try to catch his car? Completely uncalled for. Both of those last restarts Sauter was in, he was forced into a bad spot. The restart before, Ty walked up track/out of line and Sauter was already taking up the spot. Ty forces him further down and almost wrecks him trying to get a spot he wiggled himself out of.

Sauter has horrible luck when he's not getting a good finish, and this was the case yesterday. He had a good car but wasn't good enough to stay ahead of the idiots who just over react when something bad happens. Shame for "Bubba" Wallace Jr, was really hoping he would give kyle a run for his money.

I to believe the cup guys shouldn't run in the "lower tier" series'. Maybe if the put as much effort into winning the cup championship as they do winning a truck/nationwide race, Johnson wouldn't have won 5 in a row.

Shocking News coming out of the legacy of Stewart Haas Racing this morning. I'm sure it's bound to upset a few folks. It seems that there has been a bust-up between S.H.R. & Kevin Harvick , precipitating a torn up contract and a round of musical chairs involving Kyle Busch. See the Full report here....http://bit.ly/17L41xC

Oh well I didn't know, it was fake.

That is no excuse, try seeing if more than one website is reporting it before even considering posting it here. In the age of the internet, it isn't that hard to confirm your information.
