Good for marketing, bad for the customer
"It's a good thing my car isn't as fast as it could be. Otherwise I could be treading on its bigger brother's territory or even using up precious development time. That needs to go to more important cars than mine."
LMSCorvetteGT2Thing is with that video, the Camaro isn't Chevys main fighter, that would be the Corvette. So at most I could only see the Camaro ZL1 being given an output of 600 at the most. It's not like the Mustang and Ford, that at the moment is their answer to everything else. I don't see the Camaro or Challenger matching with Ford's Gt500 ever. Chevy and Dodge are too busy with their real supercars.

Check this out.
Stock '13 GT500 minus the stock exhaust, + long tube headers & slicks = 10.2 1/4 mile
JCEHow fast is it with no mods?
11.7 stock on street tires if I remember correctly?
JCEJesus. All that from something you can walk down to your local Ford dealer and buy for under $60k?
I love those looks but still want a ZL1, but if the Mustang were to look ugly next gen, I think I'd try and buy a GT500 2013 no matter what year it is.
This car has set a bar for Ford quite high to many people it seems, and if they ruin it with the next gen, I could see people flocking somewhere else.
AdamgpIf only I could win the Lotto, I would buy one of these.
Could possibly be the last of the (real) Mustangs.
SlashfanI read it was 3.6 0-60 in several places...
