My thoughts:

PREMIERSHIP:

RELEGATED:

Leicester City
QPR
Sunderland

Leicester is almost confirmed. QPR probaly has some kind of curse, they aren't a bad team. Sorry Black Cats, but it's about goddamn time you deserve to be relegated.

CHAMPIONSHIP:

PROMOTED:

Watford
Middlesbrough
Norwich
Derby County

RELEGATED:

Blackpool
Milwall
Rotherham United

I honestly think both Wigan and Fulham will escape.

LEAGUE ONE:

PROMOTED:

Bristol City
Preston Norh End
MK Dons

RELEGATED:

Yeovil Town
Colchester United
Leyton Orient
Crewe Alexandra

I'd love to see Preston and MK Dons promoted.

LEAGUE TWO:

PROMOTED:

Burton Albion
Wycombe Wanderers
Bury
Luton Town

RELEGATED:

Hartlepool United
Tranmere Rovers

I hate Shrewsbury Town, they don't deserve to be promoted. I think Luton Town deserves more.

CONFERENCE PREMIER:

PROMOTED:

Bristol Rovers
Grimsby Town

RELEGATED:

Telford United
Nuneaton Town
Dartford
Alfreton Town

For a long time, i wished Gateshead to be promoted, but then i saw Grimsby history. They really deserve to be back to the Football League.

BTW, I took a look in the Conference North, and I can confirm that I don't know what Hyde is doing there.

Blackpool very nearly put one foot in the grave today - which is what prompted the pre-emptive creation of this thread - and it was only thanks to them holding Leeds to a draw and Wednesday managing two ridiculously late goals that kept them out of it. They wouldn't have been relegated, per se, but 21pt behind with 21pt remaining to them and at least a -31 goal difference to overcome would have been a stretch.

Still, they're looking at being the first club this season to change divisions - and the earliest this can happen is April 4th, if Rotherham win the previous night at Birmingham City and Blackpool fail to win away to Bolton.

Blackpool is relegated since the season started.

Being a Boro fan I've been paying close attention to the top of the Championship, Bournemouth should go on to be champions after yesterday's performance and with them having an easy run of fixtures to the end of the season, 2nd will probably be decided when Boro travel to Watford and Norwich, Watford have a very poor record against the rest of the top 8 averaging about 0.8 points a game before yesterday's home loss to Ipswich.

My prediction:

(1) Bournemouth
(2) Norwich
(3) Middlesbrough (Play-Off Winners)

Why you think Boro will be play-off winners instead of instant promotion? They have good chances to be second place.

Norwich have been steamrolling everyone, even the teams playing well so I expect them to pass Boro in the table when they beat them at home, they've picked up 26 points since the start of February (last 11 games) and I don't think any of the other contenders come close to that. Hope you're right though. :D

Derby looked a bit sloppy but they've got back into it and Watford are down to 10 as well, I celebrated like a Derby fan when Bent converted that penalty. :)

Did Boro won? I only watched the first goal.

Telford are relegated from the Conference National

Watford are top for now after winning 2-0, Boro seem to struggle breaking a team down unless it's on the counter which is why I think Watford have just sat back, let them have more possession, knowing they have the likes of Deeney and Ighalo that can really punish them.

Blackpool are relegated from the Championship

And may I just say that this Blackpool team from 2014/15 is one of the worst I have seen in football for a long, long time. They weren't helped by only having three contracted players at the start of the season but this was absolutely abysmal football.

Blackpool facts from the BBC:

Still need two points to reach 26, the lowest tally in second-tier history when there have been 24 teams competing.

Conceded 79 goals this season, more than any other side in England's top four tiers and, at 1.98 per game, also the highest ratio of goals

Only side in the top four tiers yet to win a league match away from home this season

Have used 50 different players in the Championship this season, at least eight more than any other side

We all know that was predictable.

Things that can happen today:

Premier League

Nothing.

Championship
Nothing. Actually, Sheffield Wednesday and Charlton Atheltic - who play each other - could become the first teams to no longer be able to gain promotion nor be relegated... I recall Wednesday achieved this last year too. Ho hum.

League One
Yeovil Town will be relegated if:
  • Yeovil Town lose OR
  • Yeovil Town draw
Unfortunately for Yeovil, they'll be relegated if they fail to win, because if Leyton Orient OR Crewe pick up a point they will be too far ahead to catch - and the teams play each other, guaranteeing that outcome...

League Two
Nothing.

We're running out of games now though and while very little will be decided today, League One and League Two could be set up for promotion deciders in the next round of matches

I stil ask myself how Yeovil played the Championship last season.

BTW, great victory from Leicester today!

After the mighty Wrexham thrashed them 1-0 at Blundell Park, Grimsby's chances of automatic promotion from the Conference are as good as dead.

Things that can happen today:

Championship
At the top, literally nothing. At the bottom, almost nothing but if Millwall beat Wigan, Wigan could be relegated tomorrow - though there's a legal wrangle that may shake that one up considerably...

League One
Bristol City will be promoted if:

  • Bristol City win OR
  • Bristol City draw AND
    • MK Dons draw AND
      • Swindon Town draw OR
      • Swindon Town lose
    • MK Dons lose AND
      • Swindon Town draw OR
      • Swindon Town lose
  • Bristol City lose AND
    • MK Dons lose AND
    • Swindon Town lose

League Two
Shrewsbury Town will be promoted if:

  • Shrewsbury Town beat Bury AND
    • Southend United draw OR
    • Southend United lose

6-0 away to Bradford, and promoted.
they didn't.

Poor Bradford.

I'm glad Shrewsbury didn't got promoted.

Bristol City have been excellent all season. Some superb football from them. If I remember correctly, they were adrift at the bottom of League One when Cotterill took over, last year.

YEOVIL TOWN RELEGATED!

Yeovil's fans are getting a taste of what a double relegation means.

Norwich have been steamrolling everyone, even the teams playing well so I expect them to pass Boro in the table when they beat them at home...
Well, I was wrong there. :D Defended for their lives pretty much the whole game.

So you just need the second best defence in the league to hold out against the top strike force tomorrow then :D

If Wigan fails to beat Brighton, they're dead. A sad end to a club that showed Man City what true football means.

Yes please, it will make up for the double!

Things that can happen today:

Premier League
Still nothing. No-one's been consistently crap enough for relegation with four games left, but a few teams might make safety today.

Championship
It's too close to call at the top of the table still, with 4 teams separated by 2pt, so all the action is at the foot... While some teams can only dig themselves a bit further into it, the fact that fourth bottom Rotherham aren't playing until next week will mean that not much can be decided today. Except one thing...

Wigan Athletic will be relegated if

  • Wigan Athletic lose to Brighton OR
  • Wigan Athletic draw with Brighton
League One
After a brief flurry last week, there's only one thing on the table in League One today..

Bristol City will be champions if

  • Bristol City beat Coventry City OR
  • Bristol City draw with Coventry City
League Two
It's all action here!

Burton Albion will be promoted if

  • Burton Albion beat Morecambe AND
    • Bury beat Portsmouth AND
      • Wycombe draw with Wimbledon OR
      • Wycombe lose to Wimbledon
  • Burton Albion beat Morecambe AND
    • Bury draw with Portsmouth OR
    • Bury lose to Portsmouth
  • Burton Albion draw with Morecambe AND
    • Bury lose to Portsmouth AND
      • Southend draw with Exeter OR
      • Southend lose to Exeter
Shrewsbury Town will be promoted if
  • Shrewsbury Town beat York City AND
    • Bury lose to Portsmouth AND
      • Southend draw with Exeter OR
      • Southend lose to Exeter

Relegation will have to wait a while yet - should be nail biting last day stuff!

Conference
Since it's all about the promotion... it can be settled today!

Barnet will be promoted if

  • Barnet beat Kidderminster AND
  • Bristol Rovers lose to Dover

Yes please, it will make up for the double!
Well... that makes things entertaininger... It's worth a note that we've played every team in the top 5 twice except Watford and we haven't failed to take a point from any of them (Bournemouth, Lost-Drew; Middlesbrough, Won-Won; Norwich, Lost-Drew; Derby, Lost-Drew) - in fact the only team in the top 8 to have done the double on us are Wolves... We lost to Watford the first time we played them and play them again on the final day of the season :D

Elsewhere, Wigan beat Brighton to stave off relegation for another week, Bristol took the draw they needed to become champions and I think Burton's victory is enough to promote them - while Shrewsbury also won but so did Bury to keep it rumbling on. The Conference goes on to the final week.
