He is on the bench and warming up, he had knee surgery 22 days go, he wouldn't be on the bench if he was suspended...

We are talking about the same Raheem Sterling who is returning from a straight red? If Walcott, Townsend and Chamberlain weren't injured he wouldn't be starting. I haven't been convinced by him yet, but then I haven't been convinced by the rest of the squad either.

It was one bad tackle, one of the few negatives of his season.

That and he is better than those three.

Nowhere near as good as Lallana though...

I've been saying right from the start that Uruguay is overrated, didn't expect them to lose to Costa Rica though. This puts England in a very good position now.

Just being realistic. I'm expecting the normal, get out the group, then go out in the second round on penalties after Rooney gets sent off after 65 minutes.
