If there was ever a collection of pundits that I didn't want to hear from, there is four of them straight away. Phil Neville must be having a piss.

Indigo. There you go, Stotty. Now you know what's 'okay' and what's not. In bold type and pompous purple, too.![]()
I can forgive them for this, partly because they're Adidas and partly because the Routemasters they sponsor in London look really awesome. I mean, where can I get one of those?
That is what you call a ninja edit.
Luis Suarez has assaulted three other people. He should be sacked and in prison too - who cares that he's 'worth' £60m? He's a violent, psychopathic scumbag.
A habit of physically assaulting others also != a one-off where you thought a drunk girl said it was okay

Why do people keep saying he's worth 100 mill?
I think I'm the one saying €100 million.
Madrid paid €91 million for Bale.
Suarez is a better player than Bale (even if he misses 6-10 games a season).
Because a goalkeeper that keeps 11 clean sheets in a row clearly isn't real.Lille, you need a real goalkeeper OCHOACOFCOFOCHOACOFCOF...
What's the defence for noshing on someone who happened to be standing next to you?Hmmm... ‘The girl was drunk, and I thought she was up for it’ is a common defence to rape, but completely unacceptable in any decent persons opinion.
Please come up with an alternative term for someone who thinks he can assault people by biting lumps out of them over and over again. It's violent, he shows no remorse (like a psychopath) and he thinks it's acceptable behaviour (like a scumbag).Slightly OTT![]()
I didn't say "would". I said "should":Plus extremely naive to think any club is going to throw away €100 million.
And of course they won't do anything - it's just like Liverpool to not take any responsibility for anything done by a red shirt.I don't think Liverpool will do anything - but I do think they should do something. Suarez' transfer value should play no part whatsoever in any decisions regarding possible disciplinary action.
If they keep him they lose integrity and whatever little good faith the neutral fans retain in the club.Ignoring his reputation, which is in tatters regardless (except in Uruguay), then the only entity which loses by Liverpool sacking Suarez is Liverpool.

Violent? Yes, to a point, however, the injury (if indeed there is one) is hardly life threatening.
Whether Chiellini has an injury caused by the incident is completely irrelevant, it's the intent that matters.
It was given.Just to be 100% clear, I am not defending Suarez. It was disgusting and stupid. But some perspective is needed.
Nobody did that. I simply gave an example of a footballer who committed a crime, was imprisoned and sacked regardless of the value to the club. You then decided to compare the crimes to one another. There is no defense. But comparing what Suarez did to rape is not only ridiculous, but belittles the horrendous experience of those women who have been raped.
You might get away with saying something like that on GTP, where the majority of members are male, but go post that on a forum with a balanced membership and see what sort of response you get.
Remorselessness is a sign of psychopathy. If you saw the end of the game it was quite clear that Suarez fully realised what he'd done - whilst his team mates were celebrating, he was alone. The expression on his face and his body language said it all.

As is modus operandi. He bit the guy because that's what he does. He does it over and over again and shows no sign of even thinking it's wrong - though the emotionless "I have a problem" speech he gave after the last one was a great bit of Liverpool PR.StottyIf the intent was violence, I think an elbow to the face would be more effective than trying to bite his shoulder![]()
So you agree with two-thirds of the description and are brushing over the third in the face of the fact Suarez's statements show no remorse whatsoever, but there's some kind of failing of maturity on my behalf?I expect more of you... You're posts are typically more mature than that.
Why? Because I had to repeat myself after you read something into my post that wasn't there, after @Touring Mars had already done the same thing? You'd make a great CEO.
Sheffield United seemed to manage - and remember I'm a Wednesday fan. I don't compliment the Pigs easily.EFA
It's not like football clubs in general have a strong track record of dealing with incidents involving their players.
Anything less than sacking him is wrong. And let's wait and see what the clubs response is.
Yeah, because when you have to ditch someone because he's utter scum, why not profit from it. You stay classy, Liverpool.Personally, I sell him for as much money as I could... his buyout clause is rumoured to be somewhere between £70-80 million. That will do.
Stoic, defensive play. If you don't concede, you don't lose. That's the Greek way, it seems.
