Guess who's got Shaqiri in his fantasy team! :D:D:D

As Xherdan Shaqiri rides Bayern Munich's pine, Antonio Valencia continues to make the Man Utd starting 11.

Even Phil Neville isn't ruining this one.

Other than wanting to have a good look at Shaqiri, Neville is the main reason I couldn't watch too much of the France game - he's just irritating

Best 0-0 of the tournament thus far...

Superb goalkeeping by the Ecuadorian keeper.

Oh come on he is:yuck: Iv'e just realised what he sounds like, its the super computer voice Keith Lemon does on Celebrity Juice.

Indeed.

And one has to admire what Ecuador is doing with only 10 players and such a slim chance of getting through.

I'm sorry?
Hello?
Rafael's a right back.
Valencia emphatically is not.
Hi :)

He's a lot better at RB than at RM/RW. At least there he can use his speed, stamina and strength for something useful, which he hasn't been able to do in midfield since the 11/12 campaign.

Right backs are also supposed to defend by doing such convoluted things as tackling.
And he can't do that. Not on tonight's basis.

France and Switzerland through..

Not last season he didn't. At the start of 2011-12 yes and there he was superb.

Also:
we don't have another right-back. (Smalling sickens me there)
Unless you think Guilermo Varela is ready for first team action.

Antonio Valencia is not in 2011-12.
He will not return to that form after such a shocking season.
And Varela won't make it to the United first team.

France tried so hard but it just couldn't score. Switzerland played the way it should the other 2 games.

For the portuguese: Can anyone stand Pedro Freitas Lobo from SporTV? The guy is worse than what the rest of you describe of british commentatores

No way.

In fact, he actually makes me miss this fella:

Not in midfield, hence my original response.
Position doesn't change the fact he's had a shocking season.
It doesn't change how hard it is to recover from such a thing.

So bloody happy for my team this year.

Way to go Switzerland.

I still don't think Shaq is anywhere near as good as he thinks he is. Needs to learn how to play as a unit, not as a solo player.

Hence; cover.

If you want to discuss it I think the PL thread is the place. This got a bit OT.

@MUSC4EVER Shaq is actually my captain for Fantasy football.

Another punishment I've heard is that he could have his goals taken away, which means that England would qualify and not Uruguay as Suarez scored both his goals against England, I wonder if it was an Englishman who came up with that! I suppose it could happen but I would get my hopes up!

I also heard about England getting a second chance
;)

Still no news regarding Suarez punishment but they are having another meeting today and could find out what the punishment is later on..

...Some Breaking News! Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari have been thrown out of the Ghana squad after altercations the FA committee member and a member of the backroom staff, there has been a dispute over players bonuses and it was on Sky Sports News that they are flying $1.4 million over top to the players...

Wait! These two won't play?

Don't think they can beat Portugal without those two...

This are partially good news then. Two of the best playerd won't play.

When I say partially, they still have wonderful players and they still good chances of winning. I am not by Portugal's side at this moment.

Thats the problem with so many Footballer's today.... it's all Money Money Money. This is the World Cup, hell you should be there for the pride of your country and the love of your sport.

Neymar crying during the anthem, thats why your there.

This will affect the squad psychologically ahead of the game as well, which is why i'm now predicting a Portugal win..

Muntari wouldn't play already. He has 2 yellow cards from the 2 previous matches.
