Chiellini has come out and stated that Suarez's penalty is a bit harsh.... Wat?

Also a-hahahaha at Suarez's penalty and sponsors starting to drop him - though as @Touring Mars says, with the fact he's done this twice already, it's looking like it's not really sufficient enough.

There will no satisfaction until he is sold. It's a stain on one of the Premier League's biggest clubs. And they are very reluctant to wash their hands of it.

@Dennisch Maybe he likes the rough stuff?

Won't happen, will it? I mean, Liverpool will trot out the "you'll never walk alone" sentiment and all will be forgiven upon his return.

I wonder if Barcelona or Real are still interested.

Which sponsors have turned their back on him?

888.com... and Adidas are reviewing his contract.

Barca are still interested, apparently. I suspect they will sense a bargain, knowing that he is a terrific player, but is damaged goods... but the question is, if they do sign Suarez, will they have bitten off more than they can chew?

There's nothing I want to see as much as Algeria and Nigeria getting absolutely destroyed in the Round of 16.

Looks like Fabio Capello will continue to coach Russia.:banghead: I was hoping he'd be in a Siberian salt mine by now.

I bet he's talking about the 4 months without and football related activity part. The 9 game international ban probably could have been a bit more.

Sorry for late, but theres never late for the upcoming horror film!

Since he bit 3 times, theres 2 sequels too.

Suarezcula the Movie
Suarezcula 2: Electric Jugaloo
Suarezcula 3: Shoulder of Fate

Today will surely be interesting. I believe Brazil and Colombia will go through, but I hope for the former to be eliminated to get a good spectacle.

Will miss the Brazil game because of work and might miss a little of the Colombia game but i'm back on earlier shifts next week so I wont miss anything 👍

I like Chile, but hopefully they will lose today 👍
Go Brazil ! :)

They really could cause an upset, in the other game, I think Uruguay have been too preoccupied with Suarez so a comfortable win for Colombia for me

...really looking forward to it tonight, its been such a great competition so far with 136 goals in 48 games!

Go Chile you scored once you can do it again! :D

That's my card too.

While I have same card (see page 67), for some reason I think Chile might, just might win this one.

That's the vibe I had before the match, they are not playing as well as I expected but I still believe Chile might win this one, if they have enough determination.

So yeah ... Go Chile!

Why did everyone celebrated that goal as if it was David Luiz scoring it (including himself)?

And even more ridiculous is the fact that FIFA officially attributed the goal to him.

That was a terrible pun and you should be ashamed of yourself.

1. It can be changed later, right? I know EPL do
2. Does it really matter?

Go Chile! :)

2. Does it really matter?
What if it was Neymar instead of David Luiz, and because of that Neymar would rise to being the #1 scorer of the WC (and win the Golden Boot)? Would it matter then?

Besides, in case you didn't notice, the celebration was special because it was David Luiz's first ever "goal" playing for the national team. Except it wasn't.

It was the 1st ever goal he scored in an official international competition for the national squad.
