Hate the players play acting when a finger comes near their face. They act like they just got a shiner.

I hope Chile hitting the crossbar won't be the closest they'll get to winning this match.

Very tense penalty shoot-out coming up. Moreso for the Brazilians.

To be fair, last time Brazil had a shoot-out, they got Andre Santos to take one. You can't be at a bigger disadvantage than that.

Though if they lose, I'm worried my head might explode. I've already had enough logic being defied at this WC.
 
I think it would be good for brazilians if they lose this game. They could concentrate and think about their country's problems instead.

Well, this year I saw United lose a shootout 2-1...with 10 penalties taken.
I know a **** shootout if I see one...(though they're starting to do the job now)

Chile really took the fight to Brazil and were entirely capable of winning it in the final minutes of extra time. But the pressure Brazil overcame was immense.

Gutted that Chile won't play any part in the next round. They deserved more after the way they've played this WC.

My guess is that Brazil won't win the World Cup. It was only by an accident by Chile they won, and they couldn't even win from Mexico. The Netherlands won from Chile. And if they win from Mexico too, it's either them or Argentina waiting in the finals. And if Argentina wins from The Netherlands, that means that Argentina probably would win from Chile and Mexico too.

And that is if Brazil makes it past Columbia/Uruguay, Germany or France.
 
Indeed, this does rather confirm Brazil's demise from contention.
The Dutch are still my favourites. But I really do fear, with the way some of this has gone, they will just get smashed out of nothing.
I fear for this because they're the team I'm now supporting. And Mexico smashed one of my other teams - Croatia.
 
Deal with it, Chile. You could have tried to win the game in the 90 minutes instead of wasting time for the last 15 minutes or so.
 
Pity Chile lost to a penalty shootout. Brazil manage to go thru, but they WONT WIN the world cup, you can quote me on that!

Favourites to win the world cup for me are Netherlands and France. Colombia as dark horses :D

You can't really do the whole We beat you and you beat them therefore we beat them too.

England Drew with Costa Rica, who beat both Italy and Uruguay, so England beat them too?

This World Cup has been full of surprises and I expect nothing less from the 15 teams still in it.
