I know the team times are combined for the final team score, but are there any individual standings?

Did Adam finish in Room 2, I noticed he was on FIFA which gave me a bad feeling, since me and Lancer won in our respective rooms, things could be interesting for us.

We appreciate your enthusiasm, can I get all the race reports from drivers in room 1 and 3. Thanks

Jonny how detailed should the report be? Do we send you every little off track, spin, slide and Oops! on our own or only when there are at least two cars involved?

It's just with other cars involved or any near miss that you had or snything you want to bring to our attention

He won't need to know about a simple spin, only about incidents of contact with another another competitor, or where you were blocked in a blue flag lapping scenario.

He'll need to know lap number, who else was involved, and your description of what happened. If you have the total race time of the incident gist will help him locate it on his replay so he can make a stewards ruling accordingly.

My colleagues have pretty much covered it. The basic rule of thumb is that if you think stewarding action is required, put it in the report. The supplementary information Gadget mentioned helps, but if it's just that you know the other drivers involved and a rough lap number, it's better then nothing. Thanks.

Ah! Tanks guys I was just confused by the "Clean Race" you told us before. If I hit a wall and get damage I don't think it's clean. Butt I see what you mean now:p

So many different things went thru my head as we were completing this race it was hard to stay focus the whole 3hrs. I crashed way more times then I thought I would which means I couldnt run any of my pit stradegies today. I also forgot to get a fuel consumption #, so I was just making up different ones depending on the gaps I had or needed.

All & All this was the most epic thing I evr did in my GT5 history, and if you guys ever go back to VLN races I will most defiently be at all of them. Hopefully we can in the future run 20 laps, but all drivers in 1 room w/ heavy damage. With being said I also got to say hat's off to our room at least out of 9 drivers all 8 drivers stayed till the end of the race regarless of how many laps they were down our how slow some of us had to drive all the way around the Ring @ 52 mph. Actually me & Dave had a little race to the pits to see who could get there with full damage the fastest.

As of now, I'm not sure how we are doing Round 2, but I'm racing TDZDave & chasing I-was-ere for top honors in case you guys didn't know?,.

I'll be heading over to the Private conversation tread next because as of now I would like to run my 2014 Blanpain series similar to how you guys ran this tonight, but I would shorten it to 3 sets of 2hr segments, or 2 sets of 3 hr segments to complete their in real race distances. But for the Nurburg, Le Mans, and Bathurst races I wouldn't mind doing 3 sets of 3hrs since you guys have seemed to find over 16 drivers that are willing to stick it out till the end. Awesome guys!

I'lll never miss a VLN race with you guys ever again from here on out; plz make sure I get my Invite from now to all the future races to come. 8 or more drivers and I'm game plain and simply! That also goes for anymore of your Endurance races, especially so if they are spread out a month apart like I did for Blancpain' 👍 If Blancpain needs to be moved into the CORE Mgmt system then be my guess and move it or I'll move it there. I'll work with you guys with your politics over the matter my only request is that we run my reg's. The only car over reg by the end of the season was the Ford GT, it needs a little more kg to bring it into the pack more. I'm also raising the hp this 2014 year with the lowest hp car of 443hp being 512hp minimum, and the rest of the pack going as high as 532hp/552hp range! :sly:

Dave can't finish the races since the time moved back to GMT here, however he did run a few laps to add to the team total, good thinking!

Room 3 had rain as the big game changer during the race. I qualified in 4th behind theburre and the start was real carefull by the drivers around me. Nice.
Big moment on lap 1 caused damage, stupid me. But the Ford had the pace in the dry and wet, although she was a handfull at times in the wet.
Had a good scrap with theburre as the leaders got a minute or 2. Made an judgement call with the rain, went for slicks with 19% and at the end of the lap the track was at 46%! Full wets from then on. During the second hour the fatigue got to me and after almost 2 hours with theburre closeby, I decided to retire by not getting in his way and quitting to the pits. I would have been a danger to others with one eye (or both) closed most of the time. Was running in 3rd/4th untill then and real happy with the pace and racemates.

My apologies go to my teammates for letting them down and to all in room 3 for not going the distance.
I will go and think about how to cope with the late hours combines with real life commitments. I do have the intention to go for race 2 and get a good result.

Thanks for the read and cheers.

Hey Lord next to you I was the 2nd most spinning driver on track which really burned me since I had qualified in 4th place. ididn't even get a stint long enough to try out my pit windows, and on top of that I didn't have the fuel # either. BUT I knew this was my 1st 3hr enduro here at the ring so I didn't trip it, and I suggest to you to do what I'm doing and write this Rd 1 off as a learning/testing experience. I was very proud to see you kept racing the whole length regardless of all your dramas on track, matter of fact it was the reason why I kept on pushing. I don't know if you remembered me stopping after I had passed you late in the race, but I was actually going to just drive around with you for the rest of the race since you were placed right behind me and I had nothing to lose, but the only reason why I checked out was because I thought I had something to gain that could of been losed depending on how we start round 2. I'm not sure how we are launching the 2nd round after this 1st round and I didn't want a gap too big to I-was-ere whom yes buddy I am chasing this race! If I find out we are all going to re bunch up and start in the places we finished round 1 at then I'll be upset that I didn't wait for you, and do some fun switch back racing with you for the rest of the race. But if we are going to start round 2 at the same gaps that we left off from race 1 then yea; I had to do what I did and try to gain on I-was-ere.

This time was the first when i got reaally tired in the end. I woke up several times on lap 18 and don't know how I managed to still keep it on the black stuff, probably was only half asleep but really didn't remember parts of that lap. :P

That lap still went well with a 8:10 but after that I didn't have a single good lap. Reaction times where off and I was braking in to the turns which my Audi really doesn't like. Occasionally got some damage which didn't make it easier.

Anyway, I got through the race without any really major damage and didn't get lapped so I'm happy.

Does anyone have any preliminairy results? I'm guessing the stewards review will take some time so would be cool to have some Idea about the results. :)

I managed to do what I did in the CCS and stay out of trouble, pushing at a rate where I don't risk crashing, 3 hours is a long time, got no damage yet again and only had 1 excursion when I checked the live stream at the beginning of lap 8 and out-braked myself and took a quick trip across the gravel, while the others had moments I managed to steer clear and despite making an extra stop than jonny, I just about held on.

I might consider joining your Blancpain Endurance for 2014, seems pretty organized to me.

I'm going to spin it a little different this year though. Instead of setting up all the race calendars, I'm going to put more infancies on the most current upcoming irl mock races. I am keeping track of the whole 2014 irl racing calendar points like I did last year so that means come and go as you plz, but the points will be up for the whole 2014 year plus, but I would like to incorporate the 3 sets of 2hr sessions to complete the whole 6 hrs of racing Blanpain, WEC, and USCR require per race at the least. I would rather let Jonny, Memto, and Dave with me & TnT's help take care of the 24 hrs of SPA, 24hrs of Daytona, 24hrs of Le Mans, 24hrs of Bathurst, and the 24 hrs of Nurburgring if they will allow me to add my Blancpain series to their CORE membership?! I can handle the the Blancpain 1000km or 6 hr races by doing 2 sets of 3hrs or 3 sets of 2hrs, but I do believe if I try to do multiples of enduro round races like the VLN style that we just did I may run into conflicts with other series, but then again the strong series are Pure, Autobacs, and WEC, Group C, VLN, CORE which all are at different times. If I'm racing I'm only racing with these 3 series, and as of now you guys are the only ones whom confirmed they can last 3hrs. Pure has proved their drivers are capable of the same. My Autobacs drivers can go 2hrs max, but prefer 1.5hrs as a enduro race. I'm adding FIA GT3 combined w/ Autobacs season 2 for my drivers this year, but thats like F1 racing so we get down every week so 1hr to 1.5hr is enough for that type of series. these races are 4 to 5 weeks apart so their ok to be 2 to 3 hours long, if you guys feel me?!,...

Yes JoeTruckV8, when I saw you waiting for for me I was keep saying just go..... But I appreciate what you did.....
The only reason I didn´t give up it´s because when I commit with someting I will follow to the end, and thoses o did not end this 3 hors how they will finish the 24.....

I will inprove my performance for the next race for sure......

In my race I went 110% the entire time. Only major incident was aquaplaning off at Höhe Acht on lap 18, followed by a spin at Pflanzgarten I as a result from the damage. Otherwise it was smooth sailing with a couple minor spins.

I can do 3 Hours pretty easily, by the end of it, I may feel drained, but when you're driving and you have to stop, I just have that energy to do another hour, at the end of this race I still had energy left, but I doubt that would be the same if it rained throughout.

We actually did the same number of stops. I cleverly clipped the wall the stint after I ran out of fuel so only did a two lap stint.

@joetruckv8 it's probably good that you didn't work out the number, I put in two more litres then I had worked out I needed racing in memto's lounge, and then came up 4 litres short. Gotta love how different rooms have completely different physics/wear/fuel consumption eh? Lol

I believe that when you ran out, you were pitting 1 lap after I did, because you did a 2lap stint, it meant we were pitting at the same time, then at the end I pitted on lap 18 and you on lap 19(4lap stint) and I pitted again on lap 21 and you didn't pit that time, I believe that equates to one less stop.

I ended up with half a tank of extra fuel because I accidentally fueled for 23 laps, and I didn't know there was a 3 hour time limit :D

I will race 23 Laps, but I think 20 laps or 21 laps for lapped traffic is right on the money. I started to feel the burn on lap 16-18, and even had to grab my kart gloves and knee braces to finish the race. But right at lap 20 was the whoa spot! I will do whatever laps that are posted tho in the end. Had it been somewhere else I think I would of hit my limit, but it being the burg made it not mundane to drive for that long. I think Bathurst will be the same way, but Daytona & Spa scare me a little because of their distances. Plus I like the fact we will be building on top of our previous setups. After this whole VLN is completed I can add my name to the Nurburg Kings list finally! The only other 3hr race I did was the Pure Le mans race of 2012 in the wet at that too, but I made it to the end for that 1 also. This VLN race is better than that 1 because we get 2 more shots at making a come back. I hope the gaps were recorded so we can start right from were we left off at after this round 1 because that would be cool Imo! If we don't then watch out guys because I should be bringing my total time down by massive chunks. I will also make sure I'm home alone because this Nurburgring requires full focus for the full 3hrs. I crashed 3 extra times due to me telling someone in my house something or another. For round 2, I want to be completely isolated so I can have a record like yours ninners! 👍
