Hamilton's taking chunks out of the gap, Rosberg's taking chunks out of the tyres!

Williams not having quick pit stops today.

That fresh tarmac is eating the tires. Excellent. This should be a good race.

Nico was saved by that spin...

Lewis overcooked it under braking :scared:

Spin from Lewis! That's the race done. Advantage Nico... Lewis will still get second... will take a lot of pushing to mount a challenge now.

At least his spin, makes things a bit interesting.

Lewis was flying when Nico pitted then. I think he could well have jumped Nico but things are going to be much harder now.

Race over now I think, lucky boy Nico.

I think it's a bit premature to call it now seeing how fast Lewis was pushing it, but it's certainly a large buffer..

Safety cars aside, Lewis will need to push his tyres alot there, so Nico should now win.

If Raikkonen has already seen the pits I hope he can finish on the podium this race..

Lewis is slowly making up time, gap is around 6 seconds.

Lewis eating into Nico's lead again. Taken 1.8 in two laps... but he may be pushing those tyres...

Gap is already closing though..

Wow, he's killing the rears though...

Nico can't just allow Hamilton through and then attempt to get back past later on when his tyres are buggered. As we've seen time and time again, Lewis isn't averse to edging others off the track when he's on the ropes.

Front Jack failure for Kimi.

Damnit. All that hard work by Kimi and they drop the car. :ouch:

Ricciardo out of brakes (EDIT: left front only). Tough luck. Limping back to the pits.

Dammit. Ricciardo out. Damaged front left brake.

Edit. Not the brake. Suspension failure. Lucky for him it didn't snap off.

Rosberg is clearly not at the same level as Hamilton in Race pace again.

Rosberg appears to be cracking. AGAIN! Fantastic. Bloody fantastic!

And Hulkenberg almost crashes Bottas of the track due to a failed overtake attempt. Which causes Bottas to lose another place.

That will be a penalty for Hulky.
