This really is the future isn't it, fuel racing. How excited did Ben Edwards get seeing the yellow thinking there may have been some action.
 
its really hard to wake up at 3am and then keep focus on a race like that;(

Racing always will be, no matter how much fuel and tyres you allow the teams to have they will always ask the drivers to save them so they can use less :(
 
I guess us American fans are use to this type of racing since this is what usually happens in American auto racing (e.g. NASCAR and Indy).

Great job IRBR, you really have your heads up your asses at the moment. Instead of crying about fuel flows how about getting your driver the 12 points he was in line for smh.

Why release the car when one of the wheels isn't even on properly?!? It was clear the front left man wasn't happy.

I wouldn't bet on that, the teams will always put the minimum fuel they can in, and ask the drivers to save a bit :(
 
Might as well retired Ricciardo to save the engine or the gearbox for the next race then. :rolleyes:
 
He is under investigation as well, unsafe release...
 
Ricciardo's front wing coming loose resulting in a front puncture, and he's under investigation for the unsafe pit release. Poor end to the race for him.

He was having great race and now his team mucked it up for him, wow. This is about as irritating as when McLaren did it to LH and JB. This is how WCC are lost, keep it up RBR and give some of it to the 4WDC champ as well while you're at it.

If you think you have a puncture come in? Do they not see the front wing, that's crazy to think they'd keep him out like that, would get black flagged for sure!
