Any information about who's going or what car and track is being used post here
The MINI Challenge was for me the best GT6 event there. It had three full-size Mini cars, each with three-screen displays running GT6 with a Mini Cooper up Goodwood Hill Climb. A different experience with using the steering wheel and pedals of the actual car and thoroughly enjoyable.
I was there on Saturday and can confirm it was the Goodwood Hill Climb with the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3. I didn't check the times in detail but you needed to be at 45 seconds to be in the top ten.
I'd like to know what settings were used for anyone who tried it. I had a go to see what it was like but the car handled differently to how I expected, I assume because settings like Active Stability and Skid Recovery were all switched off (which I've not used so much at home). I'm now trying these to get used to how the car handles.
The Nissan stand could have done with a better GT6 experience. As I found out, it was set up for the competition and there were a lot of children who wanted a go. It would have been better to have separate GT6 pods for playing (with default settings, and some for the GT Academy competition.
