2014 UK Wild Card Event at Goodwood Festival of Speed

I'm going on the Sunday, if it's not too busy I'll have a look.

Is it likely to be on the Goodwood hill-climb run? Or perhaps the round 4 combo?

I was there on Saturday and can confirm it was the Goodwood Hill Climb with the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3. I didn't check the times in detail but you needed to be at 45 seconds to be in the top ten.

I'd like to know what settings were used for anyone who tried it. I had a go to see what it was like but the car handled differently to how I expected, I assume because settings like Active Stability and Skid Recovery were all switched off (which I've not used so much at home). I'm now trying these to get used to how the car handles.

The Nissan stand could have done with a better GT6 experience. As I found out, it was set up for the competition and there were a lot of children who wanted a go. It would have been better to have separate GT6 pods for playing (with default settings, and some for the GT Academy competition.

The MINI Challenge was for me the best GT6 event there. It had three full-size Mini cars, each with three-screen displays running GT6 with a Mini Cooper up Goodwood Hill Climb. A different experience with using the steering wheel and pedals of the actual car and thoroughly enjoyable.

That sounds great!

I used that same pod and it wasn't set up right so much so I walked off in disgust. It was manual with no abs no aids I was told I had to just restart instead of going back to the menu to start my run , the guy was rude and more interested in chatting up a Chinese bird that was hanging onto the pod I was using bumping me. I took to the hill 1st time it was in reverse , that was my fault because the guy started it and I don't notice I hit the leaver..I restarted turned slightly for first corner felt noting from the wheel but because it a very slight corner I thought nothing of it now the next kink in the road is the only part of the track I ever mess up on knowing this normally throw the wheel into that and that's when I noticed the wheel had virtually no feedback and it felt like it was either on lowest ffb setting or wire was out the wheel. Now I instantly paused it looked at the guy and asked how the pod is set up and what setting are enabled.. The reply I got its the same for everyone pal ...I shouldn't have but I blew my lid and got out of the pod and began to explain that I had a similar set up at home and this is setup all wrong and he replied you can comeback and have 5 more runs if you like .....Wtf no thanks set it up correct first ....thing is I am not interested in academy and wouldn't be able to do it if I did win but I thought that the experience would be amazing and not like I can jump on them pods locally the t500rs I thought would be a monster ... My dfgt wheel was 10x more powerful than the way they setup that wheel... So much so i don't want to buy one now because it felt weak
